For the life of me, I do not understand why this channel doesn’t have like 500k more subscribers. Hilarious, thoroughly researched, spot on takes, continually putting our thoughts and feelings into words better than we could. Az or Disparu need to do some sort of crossover with you. Or we need to get NerdRotic to have you on a nooner or Friday Night Tights. Whatever happens, keep up the great work, man. Your videos are hilarious and insightful and I always look forward to watching them. because it takes a few weeks or months for the hard times of apocalypse to make hard men. The loonies are still surviving on souborgers and their body fat, and the battery in there eyephone still has a charge. Then comes the fun times, when the eat each other, and even funner times when they try to eat the hard men. Then, when that's all over with, DEI is DEAD.

I am one of these, sorry. I live in a very small Maine town and misidentified a woman there as Australian when she's from London. Well lassie if your accent wasn't so damned think that I had to sort you from some Geordies maybe it wouldn't be a problem. I think I probably speak with an accent closer to RP or BBC than her. Every decade since the end of the 1980s has been exponentially stupider than the one before it. How long before we are all too stupid to even operate a camera? If anything causes the decline and fall of movies altogether, not just Hollywood, it’ll be that.

If any IP wants to make money instead of a statement, they need to stop employing writers who were born this century. A tv show called Silo was a rare gem of 2023 that was actually not bad at all. Original ish idea, gripping story and even diversity/inclussion didnt look forced.

It's not a remake in that sense; it another version adapted from the same source. A remake would be Total Recall (2012) - using the same story as the 1990 film, instead of re-adapting the same source. Dune is more akin to Captain America (2011); based on the same sources as the 1990 Captain America, but not in any way a remake of that!

Blue eye samurai a great show with a female protagonist that's correctly a strong female with excellent flaws, fears and strength. You don't see anyone saying anything bad about her because we all know nothing is wrong with women but bad wack writing and female agenda insert

Not every new thing in 2022 and 2023 was terrible. (Did you remember The Rings of Power and She-Hulk were from 2022 and not 2023?) The higher-profile flops stand out more when you ignore other great things like Andor, Wednesday and Nimona, or ignore the fact that Disney Channel ironically has more talented writers than most of their current films in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Kiff and Hailey's On It. Velma has not yet killed the Scooby-Doo franchise forever, I know this is just an abysmal Scooby-less phase that will pass and get buried in 2 years.
You can, i suppose theoretically, change out some male characters for female/black/gay/whatever characters without causing any significant issues. Black Panther is basically Spider-Man/Batman. Tomb Raider is essentially Indiana Jones. It’s not really an issue until you make them god-mode and say it’s all about them and highlight their gender/race/sexuality. If it’s not canon though then you’re changing an established character for something else to make a political point. I don’t really care if you’re black, gay, a lesbian or whatever, but if you relentlessly keep telling me that’s who you are and that i hate you then guess what? I’m now gonna dislike you.
