It's a massive let down, although there was one good fight scene between Baylan and Ahsoka when they were decoding the map orb which looked well choreographed but the rest an utter shite

@@letsreviewcrapwriting Ray Stevenson carried that fight on his back like he carried the rest of the series. It might just have been the choreography but Ahsoka's style (which already looked awful in the cartoons) just looks awkward and wasteful in live action, where Baylan's style is the best looking and most practiced style in the entirety of Disney Star Wars. It helps that big Ray (RIP) was a really great physical actor.

I would say Sabine being responsible for destroying her own galaxy but Thrown being a moron is equally as unforgivable

I remember after the Night King in Game of Thrones got deux ex crappinered to death by the Mary Sue, I was under the impression it was a massive subversion and D&D were planning on doing a big reveal in the final episodes... I deluded myself, those guys were in fact hack writers. I guess it's the same for the Disney Simps, just praying it's all part of a grander plan when the reality is, the guy is just not good enough. Then again, these companies are waking up to the fact woke doesn't work and it will drive them into the dirt so hopefully better days ahead

But the B&Q offcuts still have a better story arc than Elliot Page

Hopefully we get a detailed explanation from the Mad Goose Ezra in season 2 on how he managed to escape the Thrawn ship, locate the Republic ships, and no get killed to death the moment he stepped out of it dressed as a stormtrooper

If Rogue One did not flesh out these characters before, what makes you think a prequel to that movie would do now. It’s just being gritty for the sake of being gritty, it had no charm.

No adult is going to watch a bunch of children's cartoons just to watch a live action show. If little Filoni couldn't open the live action show for a wider audience then that is a lot of Disney money he just wasted. But LRCW is right, this show regardless of back story was stupid with terrible writing all around

I HAVE watched all of The Clone Wars and Rebels. I actually am slightly more fond of Rebels. And I can tell you flat out that everything you just said is complete nonsense. 1. Sabine as a padawan. Complete BS. She lived for years with Kanaan and Ezra, the latter of whom would have been utterly thrilled to discover she had even the SLIGHTEST connection to the Force. There is no logical way to have her train as a Jedi after showing that it wasn’t even possible in Rebels when it would have been the most helpful. 2. Sabine herself does not act like herself. She doesn’t do things by halves. She would have either all but cut herself off from the world or thrown herself into the work on Lothel so Ezra’s sacrifice wouldn’t be in vain. She would be acting like an idiotic teenager when she’s in her thirties. 3. Ahsoka’s entire arc in the show was already handled in Rebels season two. This is just rehashing something that’s already been covered. There was no logical reason for the fight with Anakin. 4. Hera is an important character, but the moron in the show definitely wasn’t Hera. Hera was smart. Hera was clever. Hera was diplomatic. Hera respected the chain of command. What we got was a character that was blunt, brash, and arrogant. The only thing of that Hera ever was at any time was blunt, and that was with Kaanan, the person she trusted most. 5. Ezra was not Ezra. That’s all there is to say. He didn’t act like himself, and most of his portrayal was downright silly. His reunion with Sabine, which should have been the most emotional moment in the entire show, was so bland that Ezra had a stronger reaction to Ahsoka. 6. Ezra’s message to Sabine and their relationship as portrayed did not come close to matching the show. It could have been true in season two, but by season four the pair were clearly falling for each other. 7. Thrawn was handled so badly that it’s a crime in itself.

Also ray died so I’m assuming they had to add filler scenes to spread his arc into the second season. Which sucks. But he died.

Yes, lightsabers cauterize wounds. They also flash-evaporate everything they cut through. Sabine not being dead is believable based on the stab shown in the medbay. In the prior fight scene, she should be very dead based on where that scene shows the stab. What is entirely NOT believable is that Sabine is good to go in a short amount of time. She should have been down for who knows how long. She had a HOLE going all the way through her body. At least one of her organs would need complete replacement. It’s a miracle her spine wasn’t severed. There is no scenario that doesn’t completely undermine the power of lightsabers and kill any stakes whatsoever that Sabine isn’t in a bacta tank for weeks at minimum.

@@John-fk2ky ok again, maul should be dead bc anything the lightsaber touched was evaporated and much more of maul was destroyed via slicing in half rather than just a stab. So again, I don’t think so. If maul was able to survive due to his dark malice and rage in the force alone I’m sure Sabine could with medical assistance
