Tired of managing your anxiety? Start the anxiety recovery process today: theanxietyguy.com/all-programs/
It's no longer 'anxiety healing' but rather unconscious patterns that have turn into habits that have overtaken our true selves. As we focus on the anxiety we focus on micro-managing each element of our sensitivity from thoughts, to feelings, to sensations and symptoms.
As our focus turns away from anxiety and on reflection of how we got here we can begin letting go of the labels that have put a spell on us. This spell has led to living life through the ego centered prison, a place that only allows us to see what could go wrong rather than what is.

I recently noticed that my anxious brain focuses on symptoms and makes worst case scenarios when I eat poorly or when I am sleep deprived. My mind gets easily triggered and panicked and cannot provide safe thoughts. As a result every little thing feels really bad and all I want to do is ruminate and do negative thoughts. It is true that our anxiety does really have a bigger chance to take the lead when our bodies do not function properly.

I'm in the same boat. That happens to me as well. I'm currently forcing myself to think of positive thoughts. Sometimes it doesn't feel natural but the more you do it the better it gets. But you always have to wrestle against those negative thoughts so that they don't win. It's quite challenging but once you can do it, life just gets better and better.

Dennis. I have, yes created a bubble of trying to manage the symptoms. I've used voluntary vomiting as a major one, I've used hiding in a room, I've used taking 10 to 12 showers in a day to aliveate anxiety, there's even more. This is Truly the crux!!! I guess I have ran for years from the "feelings " scary to feel them!! I pray I can "sit with these feelings " and HEAL!!

I came in contact with your channel in late 2023 when my death anxiety was at its worst; which even led to my relocation to another country..... Fast forward to today, I have now developed a severe death anxiety circle where I'm caught up in the rat hole but anytime I listen to your message I feel strengthened always. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Hi! I started today my 4. week in health anxiety program. I am totally astonished and surprised very positive way. I was not sure at the beginning and made my mind very long time to start with it. I feel stronger and supported, even if there have been some emotional moments and also falling back moments. I am suffering with anxiety and panic attacks since 42 years... I hope it will bring me to the better place at the end. Every day it feels like open the christmas calendar - full of excitement :) THANK YOU!!!

Yesterday at night I felt so normal it was weird because I normally feel anxious at night. So I started wondering why and how I was able to feel normal which then prompted some anxiety. I immediately thought, oh not why did I just invite it and I disinvited it consciously and started to feel normal again. I need to remind myself I deserve feeling normal and normal is ok. That was my first mini light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you always for your words of wisdom

As always your message is just what I need to hear. I realize I have been feeding into the cycle by making recovery such a "big deal" and have fed into it. The good thing is that I have realized I have been doing it but just wasn't sure how to get out. Its just familiar patterns and when I see it that way it takes the intensity of how powerful we make anxiety out to be. I watched this 3 times already and will probably watch it over again because seeing this perspective is about a new way of thinking and it makes so much sense. Love you Dennis!

Wow, Dennis. Perfect timing on this video. I started watching your videos late last year and found them very helpful in so many ways. In November, I decided I was done with my anxiety and PTSD. I tried to stop worrying about every bodily occurrence I felt, including my very strong heart palpitations. As a result, I started feeling better. I sleep soundly and my palpitations are nearly non-existent except for an occasional very mild palpitation. An increase in electrolytes and a couple of new supplements were probably beneficial, but the mindset is the biggest difference, and that is my new attitude, thanks largely to you. So, thank you, Dennis!! I am so happy to be out of that deep dark pit!!

Great stuff, One has to be in a “peaceful”, somewhat stable position to even begin to build the foundation of recovery, the house of recovery I feel. I have toxic people around and a living condition that is extremely stressful, and affects me, so there is no way I can even begin to recover . I should be hospitalized that’s how horrific I feel, I exercise a lot, the most I am capable of, albeit fraught with low energy and stamina I give it all and with diet , at least I can have some physical health although I don’t have my mental health.

Memories looking for resolve, for guidance and for a new perception. These are good, shouldn’t be seen as bad since your subconscious mind now believes it is the right time to get back to inner peace and perceptual safety.

How do you know if it is health anxiety or if you just bother for the symptoms anxiety gives you. I understand we become more sensitized, so every little change in our bodies is annoying. I had always disliked going to the doctors and taking medicine, even before anxiety . Now, I just go if I really have to.
@TheAnxietyGuy1

Because anxiety symptoms have a certain characteristic to them, patterns that play out differently than physical issues.
@heaven7360

I'm a little confused. So it's not productive to search through anxiety symptoms in order to understand and eliminate them? I get it that one can also approach change from the point of view of a spiritual or emotional healing/awakening.
@TheAnxietyGuy1
@TheAnxietyGuy1 2 месяца назад
Depends on which part of your grain you’re using to reflect on the anxiety symptom. From a rational perspective we can begin connecting the mental and emotional roots to the oh shucks symptoms, from an emotional perspective they often look like physical danger. One will bring you closer to the unconscious patterns proving the symptoms while the other will keep you feeling frantic and sorting for illusory danger.

@@TheAnxietyGuy1 of course I want to have it gone now. but I am also on medication and it’s the 3 rd year with on/ off medication and it only made it worse. At the beginning before medication I only had trouble sleeping 3 years ago. After all the withdrawals of over 20 medication my brain chemistry is completely destroyed. Ive only gotten a little relief with the medication I am on now but I feel so numb and sleep is not deep or normal I wake up at night and have trouble finding back to sleep. I am 37 and without partner. I am scared I will suffer in loneliness and will never find love. Nobody wants me with this problem. And I also have a lot of other problems but this head tension and not sleeping and feeling emotionally numb is driving me crazy. I am really done. And on top of it I have tinnitus which is new and I never had before. It’s no life. And I have this brain fog ( cloudy feeling) in my head I don’t feel any emotions. I am so numb. And without sleep how can this heal??? I can’t nap

Value inner peace more than anxiety: big anxiety moment. But Dennis, I’ve got a question: could you dive into childhood trauma (particularly narcissistic parents) in future? I feel like I’m massively improving my anxiety thanks to your work, but as most here, my anxiety certainly stems from childhood trauma. Healing anxiety is like healing a symptom of childhood trauma, but what do about the trauma, which also impacts many other aspects in your life (relationships, ways of viewing yourself etc.)? I feel like I will never really recover from anxiety (and other toxic behaviours) unless I change my core beliefs that were imprinted in me as a child. Let us know, and best regards from Italy 🤍
