Buy some TESA tape, it’s high temp resistant and developed in Germany, quality tape for wrapping your engine harness, you don’t even need loom with that tape, even factory new cars come with TESA taped harnesses
Yooo thank you for answering my harness wiring questions. I really would like to send you some goodies as to thank you. I do have another question. Will the car run on a factory map or a base map on a ktuner without throwing any code? If it does, can you share what codes pop up on your start up? I may have to not let sell my base model after seeing this. I want to attempt the swap and be the first non-si to do it. Oh i forgot to add. The injector pnp clips, i heard you can buy from axion that way you dont have to splice wires for the injectors. Eman probably sells the pnp injector plugs as well.
There should be no codes in the end. Drob is my tuner. Just a matter of uploading the base map he emailed me They do sell those clips so if you would rather buy them that’s an alternative route
Is the fk8 harness compatible with the fk7 si ecu? Could you just use the fk8 type r harness and just repin the connector that connects to the ecu instead of having to custom mod a bunch of si harness cables?
