Trash??😂 a bit exaggerated, this build is awesome, only thing that sucks is the axle issue, but again, trial and error, this platform is fresh put the oven when it comes to swaps, with time there will be more available aftermarket for these platforms that will enable swaps easier, the k20c1 and c4 are powerhouses when built properly
I was just talkin sh@&! The build its self isn’t trash at all, clean car and clean ass swap! The axles on the other hand are trash because i can see from the video that they are too big/long. 😊
AKD should have very little hope of ever coming back from this, even after getting banned they continued to throw blame on you and even threaten you’re life it seems like.

Im sorry to hear what happen with AKD. I was really hype that the are making an awd set up but had nothing to back it up. He was helping a member go awd but they member went ghost as well and stopped sharing any info whatsoever. Hes on the red flag right now until he can really prove and redeem himself.
Glad to see the optimism at the end of this video even in the face of all that has happened. I watched the fallout from the AKD stuff on the forums as it was happening and suffice to say it was a sight. Majorly disappointed that one of the few people supposedly manufacturing stuff for the platform I'm building turns out to be a third rate hustler. I'm really looking forward to seeing how you're build progresses Gavin as I'm highly considering doing this swap in my 2016 LX after I do an all motor build of my K20C2. You've done a lot in terms of documenting the swap and it's struggles and for that I thank you. It's nice to see you spring back onto you're feet and keep at it, hope all is well and take care. -Jon
Glad to see you back at it again. When i first got my axles from dss they where about an inch short. Had to send them back but got them in a couple weeks. Also yes i beat the crap out of my axles. Lots of canyon runs, drag racing, and daily driving the car for a long time before i pulled the motor again. Dss got my rebuild axles to me a month after they were sent in.
It’s an axle it’s common I work at Honda it may sound like driver side but the noise travels and yeah tiny rips on the new axles will cause that noise I hade a car with that exact noise it was ur gen
Hello bro, can you give me the measurements for the axle shafts? I mean the customized shafts you ordered. What’s the measurements. My build is the same as yours but not sure how to get the right measurements for the shafts.
I'm thinking the same thing. I wanna either build an L15 block with stronger internals (expensive, probably not worth it) or do the K swap (I'm gonna watch all vids n research on this to see if its worth it or not). fingers crossed bro that the axle thing isn't too bad either
