@@Ctrooper2011 To be fair, there are enough giant animals and monsters in the One Piece world that Little Oars Jr's inability to make clothing for himself might be an indicator of the general intelligence of the ancient giants. Or at least of his ancestor Oars's intelligence.

I think the Numbers get drunk because it's the closest they can get to the drugs they used to be fed that got them high... Something tells me Oda is gonna go that dark route again, they won't just be comical characters. I think it'll get linked to Big Mom's illness as well, and since Dr. Chopper is around we might get an emotional Arc in the middle of the War
I noticed that too. Kaido and the Numbers have alcoholism. Big Mom is addicted to sweets, just like the gigantified children who were given candy laced with NHC10. It's like Big Mom and Kaido are dealing with withdrawal from drugs-- if they really were experimented on as well-- using alcohol and sugar.

Alternatively the WG might’ve just left them on the island after they left, then Caesar found them and stuck them in containment 😅 then he sold them off to Doffy who sold them to Kaido at an exorbitant rate (I would be very disappointed if Doffy hadn’t been robbing Kaido blind through the SMILE business 🤣). This assumes Kaido got them after Caesar moved in though, and we don’t know for sure if that’s the case.
My head canon is that Barry is actually the ultimate experiment from punk hazard that has the ability to slide into other dimensions to observe the goings on of Oda disguised as a simple brick .

"Will the island be relevant again in the story?" We still have to see how the giant children's storyline ended, so of course it will. I think Vegapunk will make an appearance soon, along with Smoker and Tashigi's return.

In the manga, the yeti cool brothers were said to be 25-- years old. That could mean they were either centuries old or even lived way before the void century. They even had strawhats on which could link them to joyboy.

i dont understand why noone points out, that the shadows from thrillerbark could very well be other elephants like zunisha. I mean the size somewhat fits and both are hidden in mist. Elephants do live in herds. Maybe getting abandoned by the herd is the punishment zunisha got from a long time ago.
I actually just finished rereading Punk Hazard last night. It feels so short when the arc isn't crazy long like Dressrosa or Wano, I also felt like it could've been really cool if given more time or something. The mystery of Punk Hazard and absurdity of the super-science going on there wasn't built up enough imo. And in terms of other important things from Punk Hazard, I think Vegapunk's artificial dragon fruit that Momo ate will be relevant. It doesn't seem to function like a regular Smile whatsoever, and was for some reason preserved in an old destroyed lab. I think it'll be used as a tool for explaining how devil fruits actually work.
We talk about artificial DF as something unnatural, but I maybe DF are actually artificial by themselves. It's possible that during the Void Century Joy Boy and the crew made them because they were technologically super advanced. Vegapunk is maybe on the breakthrough to crack the code how they worked in ages passed.
Ideas looks like something out of a Jurrasic Park movie+ Frankenstein movies+Van Helsing etc. It was fun, felt very creative and out of box ideas listening to the video

@@yesmansam6686 If that's the case, which one of them would have been the prototypes? The Numbers look closer in size to the Ancient Giants but they don't seem to have a lot of power. Kaido's smaller in comparison, but has insane strength and durability. Plus Kaido's species still hasn't been confirmed, nor has the name of his Devil Fruit. I guess we'll have a closer idea of Kaido's background if Yamato turns into a dragon in the next couple of chapters.
You know this honestly puts everything into perspective it's sad that the WG is that desperate to get giants on their side. I feel horrible for the giants in the marines but it also really makes you think about just how toxic this fake giangantifcation actually is. For all we know maybe it damages the brains of its victims it could fry certain parts or it drove them completely insane and they just reached the point that they can't communicate using speech. Because we saw how much pain the drugs caused the kids
My theory with the Numbers is that they drink to forget the trauma of being created in a lab, and that Ace served in Kaido's crew alongside the Numbers for a time, which is why he befriended Little Oars Jr and was able to make a hat for his size.

What if on punk hazard there was a project to crossbreed artificial ancient Giants with artificial dragon. And they were able to do it but they only created one and that creature turned out to be Kaido.
There is something crazy I found about Vegapunk! In the Punk Hazard arc, there's a scene in which Caesar is sitting in what used to be Vegapunk's lab, and in that scene, there are two objects that are showcasing what Vegapunk was researching. 1. Model of DNA (the Lineage Factor) 🧬 2. Model of a satellite dish!!! 📡 I wonder how much knowledge Vegapunk has about the universe and the moon...

I was thinking that 'Ancient Zoen' was a misnomer since Little Garden has dinosaurs but maybe it was the pre-vegapunk lab, they could have gotten cloning and gegantification to the point where they started testing on humans and making dragons.

I think the reason the Numbers are considered failures is because of their height. Compared to Oars and Oars Jr they seem pretty short, they basically just look like regular giants in terms of size, at least in the panels of the last chapter.
I forget, do we know we smiles make you smile and laugh? I can’t remember but it feel relevant to why the numbers can only laugh and I base that on nothing but Punk Hazard.

Since you mentioned that the fur on the Yeti giants is not very characteristic of "ancient giants" like Oars, it could be that they are a later experiment meant to compensate for Oars' shortcomings. I mean, the reason Oars died is because he froze to death in the cold climate regions so maybe the Yeti giants are an attempt at fixing that issue.
imagine if there's a secret room left on Punk Hazard full of frozen chimera creatures that looks straight out of Devilman and these experiments were the even less successful experiments before the numbers
I think what Sanji was saying when he said he scock at the durability of his raid suit means that he surprise at how weak it is because you have to remember that all the other germa have iron skin so their raid suits must have a low to it do to their skin
12:17 what if they're the numbers because that's the order they were made? Like "Well first one did not work, onto experiment number two" and etc. So they just referred to them as their experiment number to keep track of them.
