I'm an Argentine resident (soon to be citizen), and it's definitely a great country for quality of life, but it's also a really difficult country bureaucratically. If your only goal is citizenship it might not be the place for you. If you're interested in the country and have a lot of patience and remote income, 100% you should go for it. People just need to be aware that the process takes a long time, so you need to count on being in Argentina for a minimum of 3 years before you have your actual citizenship (most likely 3.5-4). It's also worth noting that the tax system in Argentina is very grey. I'm no tax attorney, so do not take this as advice, but if that's the only thing holding you up and you can spend 3-6 months outside (you only need to stay 6 months per year) Argentina each year, don't worry about it too much.
@@NomadElite Anytime! I love helping people get residency here in LATAM and Europe. After finding your videos this week I'll be keeping my eye out for any career opportunities you folks have open.
I heard they don’t give citizenship to blacks irrespective of the years they live in the country. No one has a record of any black expat getting citizenship.
I am now retired living in the United States living only off of my Social Security and I can't afford to live in the United States so Paraguay or Argentina sounds like my best option
A person has to live in Argentina first for 2 years, before applying for citizenship which then will most likely take another 2 years or more before actually getting g their citizenship and passport.
While you need a visa for China, Argentina is one of very few countries, I believe the US, UK, and Canada are the others that can get a 10 year multiple entry tourist visa for China.
you can also visit China with a 144 visa free, Ive been there two times last year, but the tourist visa is much better if you wanna explore all the country
Good video. I would like to make a suggestion. Maybe you could compare residences in Latam. My guess is the Argentina residency/citicenship, although easy to get, might not be the wisest option when you compare the taxes you pay. Do not forget they still have a wealth tax with very low thresholds compared to other Latam countries where this tax does not even exist. Furthermore, the "con" you mentioned that you can not renounce the Argentine citicenship is a big con and a blank check to any potential future crazy government that wants to implement crazy taxes, which although has very low probability it could potentially happen.
@@Xenthoid there arent that many US citizens renouncing relatively speaking. I think this isnt very relevant. Argentina does not have any way to chase you down around the world like the US does
Different countries, different rules, and systems, which you get to experience when you actually live there. "Things" work differently in South America than in the US.
Is Argentina different to Brazil, in that the digital nomad visa in Argentina DOES contributes to 2 years served of your temp residency? (If you do 2x 1year digital nomad visas in Argentina then apply for permanent residency)
Hey man love your videos, great info! A question: You say roughly 1300 USD is required in income.. What if one has around 1000USD, do you think this would apply? Is it worth a shot?
I got passport you can plane ticket for vacation in country. Usa to london, or usa to frankfurt is cheap plane ticket. Get the passport at the local library. If your moving for work check the countries website. Singapore is good country in asia, maybe China. However is far away and more high cost. Singapore cost 200,000 a year unless you have entrepeneur visa.
Nomad Capitalist and Wealthy Expat channel's keep recommending St Kitts's and other Carribean Islands for citizenship by investment, would you recommend this?
I have rental properties does this work for this passive income visa? can you bring your family on the education visa? how do you get citizenship with those visa not sure if you mentioned it
how long does it take for the citizenship by birth if you bring your live-in partner to Argentina to give birth? how many months for the baby and both the mother and father to get also a argentine citizenship?
Hi Sir, I am Indian citizen. Is there anyway by which I can Argentinian passport. I am already married but working fuĺl time. Please suggest me possible way out to citizenship of Argentinian.
Please tell us what options are available for refugees in Argentina. Since my country indiscriminately stopped to provide consulate services to all male ciizens I can't make any paperwork required for residency program
@@NomadElite I'm Ukranian. I don't know any other country in the world that implemented such a foolish law. I haven't run away, I lived in immigration long before the war and now I'm about to became a stateless person cause I cannot renew my passport and have no place to stay and no means to exist if I'll retun to Ukraine, there woud be one way ticket as males arent allowed to leave the country. I love my country but hate current government
@@kovalas543there's a well established city of Ukrainian people here in Brazil called Prudentópolis. You can search on internet about them and contact. I suppose someone can help you there in your language. I live near them and the place is amazing to live.
@@vinih732 Thanks for the advice, I'll check it out. I don't have language berriers, I speak English and Spanish, Portugees will be next on my list. I'm just looking for alternative travel document cause the prospect of not being able to travel for many years terrifies me
Won't apply to all people and the middle class won't be hit hard if it's ever enforced.. plus things work slightly differently in South America than in North America.
Is the poorest country my friend everybody is doing paperwork from their parents of Italy and Spain to go to leave in Europe because their Roots and isn’t safe and the inflation is going up and up 😢
