The "avoid sitting and do more cardio" is so true. I work in Taiwan as a foreigner and I see many healthy young people use escalators and elevators to go down... I use stairs to go up. Im sitting for hours at work every day I need to move and have some resistance in between moving around. I dont get how people can just sit all day then do nothing during commute go home and sit again. I worry for all these people

I do all of these, I stay inside all the time, I don't do much phycisal activity, my sleep schedule does not match a typical day of a person, and I sit in a chair playing video games and watching youtube. As well as Insecurities that come with me. It is summer so I am going to hit the gym more often, get my money up and start just going on walks and getting my sleep cycle the way I want it to. Of course its going to take some trials and tribulations with consistancy at the gym, some tireing days of getting my sleep fixed and staying consistant with that, and getting the motivation to get up as well and stop being on my phone all the time. I want to say thank you! though you dont know how much of an impact you give to us, you are inportant to what many people would choose to consume when watching youtube. Some would watch something noneducational or something that is just brain rot and stimulating. Thank you for being an impact, though small, still impactful a bit to me!

Solid information with one exception. Not everything has to be absolute. If you ask any expert in nutrition and health, that occasional "bad food" with a night out with friends for example is not going to kill you. The idea it can is something experts want people dismiss as that in itself can cause issues.

I like your videos and I've forwarded them onto to many people. One of the main problems with your writing, however, is that you keep qualifying each point or piece of advise by saying things like: 'and this is the main one' or 'probably the most' or 'more than anything else'. You've said e.g. sleep is the most important. Then you've said not smoking is the most important. You've said building muscle is the most important. And these are just from this video alone. There's so many other lists where you've said a ton of other things are 'the key'. Any chance you can make up your mind? If they're all important, fine. Say that. But they can't ALL be the single most important factor. It's getting a bit click-bait, quick-attention bomb style. You're better than that.

@wholefoodplantbasedmama5398
@wholefoodplantbasedmama5398 Месяц назад
In this day and age of excess, moderation and balance does not work. Many people are already caught in the `pleasure Trap and only complete abstinence works. Also, having a healthy lifestyle becomes such an integral part of your life that going back to drinking alcohol and eating burgers just does not appeal any more. If your happiness primarily comes from your food there is something seriously wrong with your life.
@feezee82
@feezee82 Месяц назад
You need to redefine your definition of enjoyment. Things that are bad for you should not be considered a “reward”. Go for a walk, sleep for an hour longer, etc. these things should be associated with enjoying life, not junk food and alcohol.

Disagree about the whole heart thing and few other things. The guy that started the whole Running cult in the west at James Fuller Fixx is credited with helping start America's fitness revolution by popularizing the sport of running and demonstrating the health benefits of regular jogging. He died of a heart attack while jogging at 52 years of age. How ironic. Running is probably the absolute worse thing you can do for your physical body. Prior to him ain't nobody ever ran on the streets for "exercise." It's pure insanity!
