Man, I actually loved covid time in 2020 lol. Sure, it did mess me up in certain ways during my career... but hell if I wasn't happy of finally sleeping more than 2 or 3 hours daily instead of being overworked, having to wake up 5 minutes before classes and take a nap after them lol. And after working on thesis and whatnot, enjoy the rest of my time watching anime or playing video games lol. I remember the rest of my class felt robbed of their "school life" (they just wanted to hang out after classes to drink like there's no tomorrow). I was just laughing on the inside while living the dream lol

@@nev781 actually most japanese dont mind weebs, just depends on to what degree you are. for example someone that just collects figurines and plays anime games they dont care as long as you still have you shit together, they tend to chalk it up to just a hobby. but when your as the op said, out in a park practicing karate, then your becoming a problem, and a public nuisance. general rule of thumb with japanese: stay in your lane and never bother people in there's.

True, like for example me, i exercise every week, athletics specifically, last week I ran an 8K marathon, it was hard but it was also fun. Reaction videos certainly don't help with the "attention", because all the views are funneled to the reactor, not the original video. After you've seen the reaction, there's no reason to watch the original a second time, the anecdote of "b-b-b-but i watch them a second time after the reaction" is not the reality we live in, if you truly cared for the creator, you'd not view their content through a reactor.
