They’re all just so good but I gotta give it to endless possibility. Everything about it is so perfectly “sonic”. I’ll also mention this machine simply because it isn’t talked about enough lol
In my opinion, Live and Learn was not only a hype song, but also brought forward a message. It conveyed the entire story built up to that peak moment. The faith of the planet is at stake, and you have a couple of minutes to do something. Literally hanging on the edge of tomorrow. It told a story about sonic and shadow and everyone’s else’s character growth. When the characters and the song are hyping you up then you know it’s a number one song. Undefeatable is definitely a hype song and a really good one, but Live and Learn and a few others just conveyed something more than hype. So in my opinion i have to give it to live and learn.
42:09. The amount of robbery for What I'm Made Of is worse here than last time. How did Lights, Camera, Action beat it?! I'm genuinely confused on how you guys didn't even give it a chance, much less the chat a chance to say What I'm Made Of, considering they did. Man, I'm crying. Nonetheless, this was a pretty hard tier list that came down to Live and Learn or What I'm Made Of on my end. But you're finale made perfect sense as well. Still though, not happy with how WIMO not only got robbed, but also got jumped, kidnapped, beat, and mugged.
Solaris has the potential to be the best final boss in the series because of the idea of switching into 3 characters and he can damage super state hedgehogs.
Which I wish we will see that in new sonic era that presenting combat action and peak. And to be honest 06 has a lot of potential, story is quite interesting, presenting Silver which they wasted him completely right now and amazing music especially Orchestra.
The argument during Dark Gaia vs Undefeatable was the best. The back and forth between you all was hilarious. As much as I love my orchestral tracks, Undefeatable is the new peak for me.
For me, it's Find your Flame because the presentation of that fight goes hard and works with the song. The way Sonic and Knight throw down with the Axe Kick, the wall slam, the barrage on Knight's legs, the ACTUAL Chaos Spear, the uppercuts, the way Knight starts with his sword, and the Finale is crazy! Best Sonic Boss Fight ever to me!
Undefeatable defined the new direction the series was going in, it deserved to win, its the new fans Live and Learn and something that'll be remembered for as long as this series exists
While I’m sad Live and Learn didn’t win, I’m glad it lost to Undefeatable. The old-school Super Sonic theme passes the torch to the new-gen. But with that said, though, nothing else in Sonic has or ever will compare to Live and Learn being played at the Sonic Symphony. That was a god-like experience for me.
Fadel's choices have driven Johnny long enough to become the villain. That said, definitely one of the most entertaining fights I've seen on RU-vid with some popcorn.
Any answer other than Live & Learn is BLASPHEMY. Hehehe, no, but seriously, Live & Learn EMBODIES Sonic. It is true that lyricaly it's also just as tied to Shadow, but there is no doubt that as a whole Live & Learn became the anthem of Sonic for a reason.
Endless possibility take it for me, when you guys had it against undefeatable. You were like oh we got dark Gia; then it ended facing undefetable and the argument for it was it has lyrics lol.
Replaying Black Knight and finding out that it has some of the best music in the series is wild to me. I love the current Black Knight resurgence the community is having!
I definitely agree. Super Sonic vs Dark Gaia is literally hype as hell and Unleashed is my favorite game in the series (Frontiers is really close behind it. We'll see if Update 3 take the cake.) But I'm never opening up that song just to listen to it on a random Tuesday morning. I'll listen to Undefeatable at any point in the day. (Endless Possibility is my favorite song in the series. Undefeatable is a very close second.)
Its crazy that Sonic Frontiers is the newest sonic game and has the best vocal songs in the series. Undefeatable, break through it all and Find your flame are better than 99% if not 100% of the other songs in the series
That's a bit extreme. I personally that majority of the songs from Adventure 1 and 2. Hero's has some great bangers, 06' has great orchestral tracks and even Generations, Colours and Unleashed have classic tracks and to an extent, Forces has some underrated bangers. Yes, Frontiers themes are instant classics and i adore them, but saying the OST is automatically better than everyother OST combined because of 3 screamo metal songs is a burning hot take
Should make a bracket for non-vocal themes, specifically the classic games, the advance games, Battle, rush games, and ig Mania can go here too (still feels unfair tho) Cause tbh it just felt unfair for Advance 2 and 3 here lol They have bangers!! They just don’t hold their own against the juggernauts that appear in the console games You need zone themes (including the different acts) as well as the hubs, different menu themes, final boss/extra boss themes, and lest we leave out the staff rolls…
Even though Endless Possibilities loss in the final it really came dow to Live and Learn vs Undefeatable (Live and Learn best endless possibilities for sure come at me). As much as I love Undefeatable I know Live and Learn is a song that will speak to more people and while it doesn't peak as much as Undefeatable through out I gotta go with it (Btw sonic generations crisis city deserves some recognition).
It physically hurt when Solaris was passed for Break Through It All, and THEN His World lost to Live and Learn "because you hear it in the final fight". YEAH BECAUSE THE FINAL FIGHT ONE WAS KILLED OFF Also Dark Gaia got to continue alongside Endless possibilities, while Solaris lost because His World was in. My soul is dead. Welp at the very least my lack of a soul meant I had no stake in the final matchup. Just got to enjoy an entertaining collective meltdown. XD

It should’ve been Solaris vs Undefeatable at the end. I will stand by this until the day I die, His World > Endless Possibilities. But still, Undefeatable is just the best Super Sonic song, and Solaris is right behind it
At the end Fadel was completely right. The first phase of Dark Gaia's boss fight where you have to play as chip sucks. I'm tired of pretending it's doesn't.
@@GamesCage I got a lot of problems with Dark Gaia's boss fight, and it didn't help that Frontiers handled the giant boss fights waaaay batter. It was nice to hear someone think the same about it.
About the non-ending song argument on Super Sonic V.S Dark Gaia vs Undefeatable, dude... It's a game song, it's obviously has to repeat to keep the music on the gameplay, while Undefeatable is a single lyric song. That argument honestly is really dumb... By the way, Find your flame should have won against Undefeatable. By the way x2, What i'm made of it's the best Crush 40 song, even better than Live and Learn.
It just comes to show that Frontiers' music, whether it's in the open-zones, Cyberspace, minigames, minibosses, titan bosses, cutscenes and more, absolutely made an impact in the art of Sonic music. But overall, whether its new or old, and bad or good, all of Sonic's music is a masterpiece. Let's just respect the music and each other's opinions about Sonic's music. Gotta disagree with the frontiers ost placing this high like yea i'd listen to both undefeatable & EP (original) while scrolling YT but on a practical level (ex while gaming)? i'm running endless in a heartbeat
This tournament is the ultimate example of why you don't do one of these shortly after a new game comes out if said game's music hits hard. Because inevitably recency bias trumps any logic or thought.

i didnt like the big bias to the frontiers songs, but is was a great video anyways, also the reason i said this is because to me frontiers lacks a motif unlike unleashed and colors
To be fair, Sonic Frontiers is the reason Fadel started becoming popular. As much as I love the vocal songs of Frontiers, I do agree that the reason it won a lot of matches is because of Recency Bias.
@@GamesCage the only reason i say that is that to me a good ost has a connection all the way, all 3 boss music's are amazing(and most of the OST too), but to me the only problem the frontiers OST has is that connection, a motif that connects the songs, unleashed feels cinematic till the end because in many songs we hear the main motif play out in them, is also the first thing we hear when opening game, if those boss songs where not attached to the game at all, they are still good songs, but would't hold any impact. any ways is just how i feel, Great choises nonetheless
@@TruelyAsternI really wouldn't say, "Recency Bias" it's more like, you don't think the boss themes in Frontiers will hit that hard, than you hear the songs and it feels like you got hit by a boulder rolling down a steep hill.
Undefeated is carried so hard by being the first vocal song you hear. Knight is more engaging than Giganto, the guitar solo goes harder, and the ending of the song and the fight is much better.
AYO- YOU'D BE RIGHT IF YOU PUT ANY OTHER FRONTIERS SONG ABOVE LIVE AND LEARN INSTEAD (I'm Here, although I do like it, is the weakest vocal theme in Frontiers imo - yes, even compared to Dear Father lol)
Man it suck pitting 2D Sonic music vs 3D Sonic Music. I think its the fact that alot of 3D sonic game have vocal lyrics now while 2D Sonic music retains that classical musical sound from Genesis Era. There should be like a Best 2D sonic music debate. Which includes the likes of Sonic 1,2 3&K, CD and Mania wondering if Generations version should be included on the debate for Gensise Era music also including the 3Ds versions of Casino Night and Mushroom Hills.
I still think that Perfect Dark Gaia is 10x better than Undefeatable, even if people don't agree with me, Dark Gaia is just better in delivery and the instrumental, personally.
