Greetings Richard, My name is Roger Anderson I've been watching your videos from the beginning love your blog. I had been in remission after having bladder cancer surgery back in October 2015 but it has returned. It was so nice to watch you catch a few Bass this evening after getting back from MD Anderson Cancer center in Houston this afternoon. Your videos helped me through my first battle with and recover from cancer and got me back to fishing again. I know that you and your blog will help me beat it again. I have done the same thing, if nothing else bites, a bass will, so I hit the smaller rivers, and got myself a personal best Smallmouth, 23 + 5/8, wow what a fighter. This is coming from a guy that never took hardly any time off for anything. So I agree with Richard, don't waste time, go fishing when you can. Because it is definitely good for you. Thanks brother.

That was a nice spotted bass, about as big as I've ever seen! Those are my favorite bass to catch. I'm glad it's finally getting a little cooler and rainy-er. I just got home from racking up some nice shellcrackers that were sitting on the bottom. I do love your channel!

Hey Richard, im a new subscriber and have watched a handful of your bass videos and i just wanted to say that ive enjoyed all of them so far. Love your spirit and overall attitude and positivity, keep doing what you do and thanks for the content. Ill be sure to watch much more of your videos soon as it is frozen over here in Michigan.

This morning was a first for me: Bank fishing off of the levee near Henderson Lake in Southern Louisiana for bass. I catch a ~1.5 lbs black sacalait (crappie) on a lipless crank bait! Only one went for it. I tried some hair jigs after throwing the crank bait out there a few more times but I only ended up catching the one. I never would have thought that a sacalait would bite on a bait size and moving that quickly.

Good evening Richard. I live in Iowa along the Missouri River and we have had plenty of rain this year. As of right now we have had 10-12 inches of rain since September 1. I'm tired of the rain. If I could send it your way I would. Hopefully you get some rain and cool temperatures soon so the fish start getting active and have some good fishing before winter.

Rivers here in southern IL and southern IN are so low you can walk em and keep your knees dry. I fished with live bluegill and cut shad for 17 hours the other night without a bite. But I enjoy being on the water so bite or no bite I’m happy to be there.

Just found your channel. I live about an hour and a half from Guntersville in Margaret, Al. Keep making videos man. Good an entertaining. I just got back into fishing a few months ago and plan on getting up to Guntersville eventually.
