I love how big the property is on the new farm compared to the size of property you guys have had at the old farm. The dogs seem like they love running around at the new farm.

Best thing to do - get a big white board for the barn. And get electrical tape and map out the paddocks / property from the barn . Then when you move the horses you can write what horse is in what paddock.

I just love your new farm. There’s so much land to ride on. It’s cool that you have a riding trail too. The only thing it’s missing is an indoor arena to ride in.

Ya! With all our obstical stuff and jumps, we really need to build some sort of arena pronto. We can also drive into some place for lessons! Once gabby gets chino up to speed he will drive in for lessons@

I moved house last year and its good to be able to move smaller items over I think. It means that when you move in to live, you have less stuff to remember to bring over in one go.

Get a like 6”x6” board for each pasture, secure it to the gate and paint on number on each board for pasture numbers! I would never be able to keep them straight 😂

I love that you have such wonderful gates, fences & fields. The trails are going to be awesome. I'm so glad that you will have better security. Love that big ole barn. The horse barn looks like all the horses could see each other in those stalls. Maybe Honey can see, too. I agree Laura, don't show the road, the front of the house or answer these peoples questions about how many acres you have. Safety first!

I actually don't mind all the gates! It's a lot more walking then I thought it would be! I love that the horses can be outside and run and graze and not even hear a single car. It's so peaceful in the back. The peace and quiet I'd my favorite thing!

Oh my gosh, no air conditioning would be a dealbreaker for me. Of course I’m in Georgia and our weather has been in the upper 90’s recently with very high humidity. Even with our air conditioning running non stop you get hot if you try to do anything

Yes definitely be discreet about what you show, would hate for you guys to experience security/ doxxing issues. We don’t need to see everything! Crazy how much land you have, that’s amazing. The horses are going to love it 😊 Like the idea for Chino’s stall! We have stables that open to sand corrals, and it’s so quick and easy to let them out. Always loved the idea of a stable that opens out to a pasture! Wow that trail is like everyone’s dream. It’s a perfect canter/ gallop track too! As a horse owner who’s mare loved to spook out to the side into open fields at anything, an enclosed trail is stuff of dreams 🤣

I love that the trail also has a smallish hill in it. It's. It just straight! I love a good hill lol! I'm super excited to see what we come up with in terms of pastures!

I think that concrete slab you have there used to be a silo. It looks like the perfect shape and size for one so there was probably one there at one point. My guess is the wood around it was probably there to avoid large animals, like horses, from running onto it from the other end of the field and slipping. But I love this farm. it does need work but that is a good thing because then you can make it your own and make it really feel like home.

The farm just gets better better the more you show!! Those trails are stunning, I love how private they are makes it nice and easy to just focus on you and your horse and I agree I think that Sophie will gain some confidence and even have an amazing time while doing so! I live in Ontario canada aswell fairly close to you guys actually and can not get over the heat wave 🥵the last 2 days have been too hot to do anything. Also I think that’s a really good idea to make that chinos stall and just add a little gate , that way you can close it when you want him to be just in his stall (lol add more gates to the 100 there already is) haha but seriously think it would be a great use for that space!!❤

Nice place, the previous owner has done alot of fencing. Did they have alot of horses there before? Hopefully you have water hydrants for all the fields that you plan on putting your horses in. 😊

Why are you so worried about them being on grass? My horses are out all day. Im in Ontario Canada and all the horse where I am are out all day in pastures. No big deal.😅

It depends on so many things. Many of our horses are aging, which makes it more likely they could become metabolic. If that happens, they would founder easily! Laminitis and founder are deadly, and it's caused by grass. It's super important to be careful! That's the biggest reason we watch our horses weight as much as we do!
