God knows the heart of man. A sincere believing heart is what determines our salvation, not our weakness and continual sin until we are perfect in heaven, BUT we are called to holiness.

thank you Pastor. You are my Pastor because praise God, the Spirit led me to you. I was vacillating, "fallen from grace" adding works to my faith for extra credit from God! I miserable in the process. The simplicity that is found in Jesus Christ was taught by you. I believe in the Gospel which saves us, 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 and I'm so grateful to God and to you, the Minister of it. grace is something I can never earn and can never merit. I don't know why it was so difficult for me to finally let go of adding works to faith. (I blame Paul Washer!) No, I'm kidding it wasn't Paul Washer it was me. I didn't search the Scriptures for the truth. instead I expected someone else to feed it to me. Big mistake..., big..., huge!♡

Since I moved 40 miles from my home church I almost joined a Reformed Baptist church. I’m glad I listened to pastor Ralph again. There’s a few churches that are not Calvinistic nor Arminian...it’s not one or the other.

I sift all scripture through John 3:16. Both old and new testament scriptures. If I have trouble undestanding a scripture, I re read John 3:16 and all of a sudden, the Holy Spirit clarifies it. Thku Pastor

I often wonder these days; is it possible that there is a difference in being saved and being born again?

We are mere men before our Creator, God. Praise Jesus Christ for His sacrifice for me: such love, such holy love and i do not deserve it.

Too much focus on sin, not enough on heart and grace. “Losing your salvation” is not in the Bible, but “falling away” is in many places and it’s always having to do with the heart, never with sins.

I am a Canadian from an unchurched family who came to faith at 27. I used to always say two Corinthians or one John. I just didn’t know any better. Trump is just unchurched.

To Calvinists: Please re-read Ephesians and Romans. NOWHERE in scripture will you read about an unregenerated person being predestinated to being converted - in Ephesians 1 and Romans 8 - we see saved people being predestinated to adoption, saved people being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ - saved people being predestinated to their Glorification and Inheritance. Romans 8:23 Paul tells us this adoption is to a new body - Not lost people being predestinated to being converted. Ephesians Paul is talking to Church of Ephesus.

I used to be a Lordship salvationist and I'm still unlearning the heresies that were shoved down my throat for years. I've had much freedom in the truth. I'm confused about one thing, something I hadnt thought of until a few days ago. Must one continue to believe to be saved? I've heard people say it's working to rely on your ongoing faith but how can that be when Romans 4:5 makes it clear faith is not a work, and that without faith it is impossible to please God? Psalm 4:5 5Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD. I've come across a couple verses that seem to say we must keep believing to be saved. Surely I'm misunderstanding. I thought we only had to believe one time but now I'm not so sure.

I’m not a calvinist. I appreciate the emphasis on God’s grace and that our works/performance cannot and do not save us, but it’s important not to believe the lie of hyper-grace, either. You absolutely cannot WILLFULLY and “live like the devil” in rebellion and disobedience counting on the faith ticket to Heaven in your pocket. You do bear responsibility and accountability for the choices you make. The Bible makes that abundantly clear. James 2:14-17 ESV What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Calvinism teaches God only gives faith to those who saved. But, the bible says God does not give faith, He gives eternal life to them that BELIEVE. So faith is not the gift, Eternal life is the gift. Romans 6:23. For the penalty for sin is death, but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE, through Jesus finished work on the cross. It is a gift because no one can earn heaven. And faith is not a work. Romans 4:5. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him who justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for His righteousness. It is faith apart from works. So faith is neither a gift or a work. John 3:18. Romans 1:16. First Corinthians 1:18 and 1:21. For after that, by the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God, by the foolishness of preaching, to save them that BELIEVE.

I always knew that TULIP was a poisoned one. Now they don't call it limited atonement, because I guess it sounds too negative. Now they call it particular redemption. And when they quote one of their famous verses, they often leave out"forknew". As in, whom he did foreknow, them he predestinated … and so on. I disagree with the pastor when he said you can live like the devil after you're saved and still go to Heaven. But as far as Calvin goes, I agree totally. How else can you explain "For God so loved the world"? They say it's the world of the elect. All I read is "the world". Period. It's not generally known, but the good Mr. Calvin renounced his TULIP, particularly limited atonement near the end of his life. He was scared stiff he might not go to Heaven because he'd taught this heresy to so many people. Also, when I hear the folks at Ligonnier (Renewing Your Mind, R.C. Sprawle), go on and on about Luther, Augustin, and Calvin, I think of that verse. I believe it's in 1 Corinthians, where Paul chides the church there for just such a thing. "For one of you will say, I am of Paul, or I am of Apolos, or of Cephas …" He ends this with "Is Christ divided?" He states that he merely serves the Lord, as does Apollos and Cephas. Forgive any mistakes. I'm not good with Bible addresses. I listen to the Bible because I'm print-disabled. I used to listen to the Renewing Your Mind podcast, and I learned much from it about church history. But I was disturbed by so much talk of Luther, Augustin, and Calvin.

Paul Washer, John Mcarthur, John Piper, Hagee, and all the rest of the calvinist needs to hear this. To my understanding Paul Washer happen to hate the sermon when scripture is biblical on the other hand his stories aren`t even biblical...For real tho..; and yes I`m stupid...lol

I didn't listen to all of this but first things first: no man or woman can come to Christ unless the Holy spirit draw him. We don't have to clean up to be saved but once we are born again we will have the urging and correcting of the Holy Spirit to live a life reflective of who we are. Our behavior is not evidence of being born again for that is a fruit of maturity for our souls but our spirits are alive to God. As we submit to Him as stated in Romans 12:1-2 we will become conformed to the image of Christ in our souls. The flesh-skin, bone, blood is neither good nor bad but is hijacked by our souls. If there is no desire to live unto the Lord I would doubt that there has been a conversion.

I'm sorry that you have to go through this turmoil. I can see that it saddens you, but you can't just make up what God says like you've been doing with these verses. What God says is what is written. I didn't care for it myself, but the reason that we have to still preach the gospel is because the elect also have to hear the gospel in order to be saved. Paul talks about that. He says he does all his gospel work for the elect

Repentance is turning to Jesus. Essentially, in telling the Jews to repent, John the Baptist was telling them to turn to Jesus. We have no desire nor power to turn from sin until we first turn to Jesus. As we turn to Jesus, by default, we turn from sin, and only then do we have the desire and power to resist sin.

Be careful! "Your prophets have said so many foolish things, false to the core. They did not save you from exile by pointing out your sins. Instead, they painted false pictures, filling you with false hope." Lamentations 2:14

There is only one danger to the free willers about ELECTION and that is, God is the only one who is in complete control of ones salvation, fact, both faith and the grace are both the gift of God least any man should boast as this padtor is doing right now sad to say. Just read, Eph.1:1-3, Romans 9:10-26.

The Bible teaches to turn and repent...Lordship salvation is biblical. Jesus is caled 4-1 lord over savior.

Actually the Bible says repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Repent actually means change your mind so change your mind and believe in him. And I'm not a calvinist but I believe every word of it. And it's all over the Bible that doesn't say anywhere that no one else can be saved by hearing the gospel and believing it just says that he chose and he did cuz I was one of those and I remember the day it happened

Calvinist cant even lead there own children to believe the gospel and be saved, because they do not know if they are chosen or not. Sad but true. Not to mention that virtually ALL of the apostles spoke of the elect and they were not speaking of the nation of Israel. Were they speaking of the Gentile nations being elect? The doctrine of the perseverance of the saints does not teach that you have to do good works to keep your salvation. Her doesn't know what he is talking about. It is about God keeping you saved until Jesus's return.

Yes, there is a sincere offer of the Gospel to every man (Spurgeon believed in universal, sincere offer of salvation) but that does not mean one who believes is not chosen. I dare you to show me one example of a believer in God's Word who was not chosen. We know we are chosen after we have come to a saving faith in Christ.

Can a person be saved and live like the Devil….Yes. BUT as a born again Christian we shouldn’t…… that would be making a mockery of what Christ did for us at Calvary!!!! 1 john 2:1 - “My little children, these things write I unto you, [that ye sin not.] And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:” We dont stop sinning to become saved. We stop practicing sinning on purpose BECAUSE we are saved and we've had a change of HEART. We have a new desire NOT to sin. Yes we still sin but we still also have forgiveness through Christ. 1 Corinthians 6: 10 - 11 "Know ye not the the unrighteousness will not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, And [such were] some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." We are the bride of Christ and are commanded to submit to Him BECAUSE He redeemed us. And for those of us He loves He also chastises when we are disobedient. We cannot get saved with the idea in our hearts that we have no intentions of submitting to Jesus. "Those who would be my disciples MUST lay down their lives...pick up their cross and FOLLOW ME." Once saved always saved? YES But convinced you're saved without the contrite heart = DECEIVED Commitment to Christ isn't a work either. It's a decision. A decision to trust Him in the same way a sitting wife trusts her husband to supply all of her needs.

Luther’s understanding was close to the issue and easier to understand for people not so deep in the faith. I believe his intentions were honest but Calvin was more precise and proper. But the faith is not the stupid sentence ´´ Oh I believe! (and avoid the true faith coming from the Bible)´´´ The other issue (the reason why I have made the share!!!) is that Luther was close but not right when he picked up not proper one nation to annihilate!!! On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ Matthew 7:21-23 I could keep going..........

This is just as dangerous as Calvinism and directly against the teachings of Jesus. He preached repentance. Matt 4:17; Luke 5:32; Luke 13:3-5 etc. He taught you must be born again John 3:3. It is not for us to be fruit inspectors because Jesus is the judge. But, we know deep down if we believe and if we do we will strive to do better. John 5:24; Romans 8:16. Repentance is not about perfection. It is about changing the way you think. Instead of living for selfish desires we are to live for Christ. we take up the cross daily and follow Him. Matt 16:234-26; Acts 3:19

If Jesus died for everyone then why did Jesus say himself that he laid down his life for "the sheep" John 10:11. Who are the sheep?

Five dangers of a one point calvinist trying to argue against calvinism. 1) all five points of calvinism were made to defend the false and dangerous idea that God will not cut us off. That we have eternal security. 2) when the scripture talks about believers being righteous and holy, it means we are living righteous and holy. So when this false preacher talks about calvinists taking scripture out of context, he's doing the same thing. He believes holiness and righteousness are imputed over our entire life after confessing Christ. No verse states that. 3) both Calvinism and eternal security believers twist scripture and both have perverse, verse idolatry. They are worshipping another Jesus, that allows them to do the worst things and still proclaim they are heading to heaven. How do they reconcile that with clear passages like James 5:19-20? You're losing rewards when it says losing eternal life, or the death of our soul in hell. 4) eternal security and calvinism have led to the prosperity gospel. You cannot have a gospel preaching that we won't suffer, and will not face trials and tribulations if you believe God won't cut you off, and won't punish us, here and in our afterlife. As this false preacher notes however, at least calvinists today are preaching we must turn from our sin. As the God of the Bible demands. This is what the Bible teaches. Works salvation is doing the works of the law, or circumcision. He saved us from sin, and you absolutely cannot live like the devil. Gal 5:19-20; 1 Jo 3:4-10. 5) it's this false gospel that also led to Americans accepting the false gospel of pre trib rapture. Matt 24:29-31. We absolutely are headed to hell if we return to sin. Gal 5:19-21. We absolutely must endure till the end. That is what Jesus tells us. And he's absolutely right. We need to listen to Jesus who repeatedly warns us no sinners will get into heaven. The atonement covers our prior sins. The blood frees us from serving sin. Jesus *tells us* to be fruit inspectors of teachers (like this heretic) and in our own life. His theology is not of God, but if man's wicked desires to remain in sin and have heaven insurance.

I don't believe in Calvinism, but I can't even finish watching this. Surely to goodness people don't believe him. False prophets mix truth with lies. This man might be chief of false prophets.

Before being born again I loved sinning, but didn't know I loved "sin". After being born again it was the Holy Spirit that transformed my understanding to know of my enslavement. I couldn't do that of my power. Yes, I still sin, however I no longer love it, and as Jesus draws me closer to Himself, He is changing me from glory to glory, by His power to change me. I am proud to say I am Calvinist, because I know it was all Jesus, not even my choice saved me, He saved me while I was deaf, dumb, blind, and dead to the truth. He opened my eyes and ears and understanding, He brought me from death to life, when I wasn't even looking for Him. THAT is true grace, my friends.
