Oh, lol. I love and hate that feeling. I love them and Victory should have promoted them. The ascent from 1 melody, to 2, and even background chorus, layering songs, which is why duets are usually very good, two minds and voices and instruments.
grossssly underrated. first saw this on the victory records sampler dvd on june's "if you speak any faster" record and it deff changed the course of my brain development lol. the forecast, june, the junior varsity, NORTHSTAR even, all should've been bigger bands. at least they had heavy airplay on fuse
I had a radio show called the Saturday Night Hop sometime around 2013. Due to my late night time slot, I was obligated to read the weather at 9:00 PM. I turned it into a bit called "The Forecast and the Forecast." Clearly, I read the weather and then played a song by The Forecast. The only caller I had ever had on the show was ecstatic to hear The Forecast as he had just moved into the local University dorms, and loved the band. He asked me to keep playing his favorite songs, but I was coincidentally replaced that very week by a DJ that had his own portable CD drives. Those drives must have been pretty swell.
Hawthorne heights brought me here like many years ago I about to turn 29 on. The 22nd of this month I was only a teen when this came out I miss those times man Riding my mongoose around my city thinking this was the best thing I ever heard God bless to everyone
since everyone's getting so personal. To me this song is a classic for this style of rock for that time period. incredibly underrated of course... i found out about these guys because I used to be obsessed with Victory records back when they ruled before they were exposed for being their own worst enemy by many great bands they shouldn't have lost.
Victory Records was pretty huge with Silverstein, The Forecast, and Hawthorne Heights but...I liked this band way beyond those others who got too generically screamo...these guys were amazingly original.
carlos flores bro me too! I had a sample CD as well. Had existentialism on prom night by straylight run and a TBS song I believe. Where the hell did the samplers come from? I think I got mine randomly from a friend
Getting those Victory CD's introduced me to alot of good bands that I listen to today. Try my best to buy them even one song at least. They see a lil Itunes royalty once in awhile
🗣🗣🗣 I will show you the country, & all its secrets... Had to come back and check for NCAA baseball...I was a kid on my PlayStation gaming all damn day listening to this shit and it randomly hit me ...had to come listen lol
+Heavy-Handed Gamer There was an album three years ago or so called 'Everybody Left.' It was amazing. I'm surprised there haven't been any music videos in a while though.
I always found Shannon to be extremely attractive in this video. An already good looking woman, completely screaming her soul out with passion and melody, all while wearing braces which somehow made it all the more attractive.
Gah, these guys played a couple shows at a small venue in my town back in the day. I always felt bad, because the sound guy was TERRIBLE. Every show he would forget about the backup vocalist's mic, so whenever he went for that "Burn out so quick" line, nobody could hear him. Awesome band though, was absolutely obsessed with them back then.
I can't remember the year I was probably in middle school but I remember getting a Victory Records CD and it had a bunch of artists on there with one track each. Got a lot of good artists through that CD. This particular artist I've been searching for for years because I could not remember the name of the band this was the song they had on that CD . I was probably around 13 14 or possibly 15, and I'm going to be 28
