Because it starts with a stagecoach?? the gameplay is nothing like DD. For a start this is a deck building game and DD is a Roguelike Turn-based RPG. Come on dude, nerd the F up!

Based on the tutorial, the gameplay was funky because when you lock in a slot it lowers the timer until your attack, forcing you to minmax how many slots you fill in at once. Also, each time your attack goes off, it erases the cards in the slots and in the queue which means you shouldn't try and set up the next attack, just maximize the current one.

Talk about audio nostalgia, the voice acting for Herbert sounds shockingly close to Chris Sabat's Guru/Piccolo. Ambrose sounds like another iconic video game or tv voice, but I just can't place it right now. Both very impressive. I also loved the tiny audio detail that when Herbert and Ambrose are talking inside the carriage you could still hear the hoofbeats and the creaking of the carriage even when it was showing the interior.

Ambrose sounds like Timothy Bentinck who voiced Victor Saltzpyre from the Warhammer Vermintide games to me. Don't know if it is the same voice actor but the voice, tone and sarcasm sounds just like him.

Great story and great characters. Couldn't understand the combat system myself, but I tend to watch your videos while doing something else and today was no exception, so that's not really surprising. I'm not a fan of these card draw games, but you have showcased a few that have been real standouts. This might be another. Love the idea of a protagonist who displays behaviors that everyone else might think is crazy. And frankly, he might just be on one huge ptsd trip. Kind of a Dr Watson, Boer War trauma thing.

I got to agree with Splattercat on this one. The presentation is topnotch for an indie game, but that combat system is dicey. Hopefully the devs can find a way to make it fun/interesting for the entire length of the game.

That funny I finally found out who my father was thanks to 23 and me I found my sister on there, unfortunately, my father died in 2014 of cancer but I meet 2 of my uncles one lives near me and one in Florida, and my grandfather I have gotten the pleasure of meeting him he is such an awesome old man he 94 and just awesome but he is also 94 so I don't know how much longer he will be here but I am very appreciative of the time I have gotten with him

card games are so repulsive, they take any good game concept and world and ruin it. If I wanted to play with cards i'd look for card games, these games all have to present themselves as something else to get anyone's attention then once people think they've found an interesting gameworld they stick you with the same lazy, boring, gambling garbage.

In that situation, they should have added a multi-choice answer with one of them being "make a scene" and the outcome would be what you should have received. But their too lazy to write all the different dialogues and draw all the different actions. So they made a linear storyline where you just have to go with it.
