@@detrezo I don't think GD will die out completely though especially when you consider what kind of game it is, just about anyone can play it. If people are constantly being introduced to the game and they stick around, this game could have a solid player base in the future with the only downside being that the new players will be noobs I could be wrong though...
Overall, this was a drama to be remembered, This drama was fairly impactful and one that the community will not forget soon. In conclusion, this Drama was a significant exchange but thankfully the issue was resolved and both parties are fine with each other today. To conclude thi
Honestly, with the quality of these videos I could say you're the Gbay99 of GD. As much as I absolutely love The Kenos members, Doggie or Brandon Larkin, your videos are by far the best in the community. And you ALWAYS pick an interesting topic to talk about, your videos are surprisingly not boring at all. Thank you for what you contribute to the community.
This was a blast to watch. The insights were so professional that if you took this skill to make more general content outside GD, you could probably have RU-vid originals. As for me, my first engagements with the GD community started around August to September 2016, and I remembered the forum post format :)
Such a unique idea turned into such an interesting and detailed video, I can clearly see all the detail and effort you put into this video. Well done Norkbork.
bloodbath is still my favorite demon of all time. This level absolutely blew my mind when i first saw it back in 1.9, and no level has gotten close to recreating that feeling i felt all those years ago.
You know what would be a cool concept? Creator Unions. These creator unions would try to get member's levels rated and recognised, which would benefit small creators. There are some flaws, but I'd imagine that they could sort most of them out.
Thank you so much for making this video, the only other one was Sea's and not only is it outdated now, he unlisted all his videos, so it's a pain to try and find. You're quickly replacing him as my favorite GD content creator, because he doesn't make GD videos anymore and all his old ones are really becoming outdated. You might be next in line to replace him if you keep making videos of this quality.
@@ackee39 yeah, he stopped making GD content because he didn't like the game anymore. You can still find all his videos in this giant playlist on his channel, but there's 228 videos in it so it's hard to find what you're looking for.
you can find them all in a playlist on his channel! while they’re outdated and unlisted, if you just go to his playlists tab you can see them all and have a bit of nostalgia if you wish
You really put this much effort in this video amaizing man. You remind me to sea1997 and his videos about game and comunity Maybe best content on your channel so far Keep it up and love from croatia.
What a great video nork! Super interesting to see the history that I was not around for, and how its effects led to the list we know today. I really appreciate you making this :)
I watched the whole thing, and I love this video. Thanks for making a video about the demon list, as I have been looking for something like this for a while. You did an amazing job.
30:12 no, it wasn't a new era of difficulty, crimson planet was, because crimson planet was top 1 for 8 months and bloodlust was top 1 only for 2.5 months
Thisnis a great recap of how the list grow and all, but I honestly think a more varied word choice would greatly improved. For a particularly important and develpomental point, maybe "adolescense" or "blossoming" instead of "change" or "development" Good video tho
Your videos are actually incredible as to how much detail goes into them. Easily your best video too! You never disappoint. I think the first time I got interested in the list was late 2016 when Bloodbath lost its throne to Sakupen (which is funny to look back on, considering that Phobos is even harder than that & should've been the #1 demon like a couple months before Sakupen came out) but it was nostalgic to see the old Pointercrate format & interesting to rethink of those ugly forums the list started its existence on. Also, did anybody look at that screenshot of the prior top 18 from 2017 (at 22:04) & realize just how... fucked up the perception of the hardest levels was back then? If you were to actually put those levels in the order they're in NOW, it would look like this 1. Sonic Wave 2. Yatagarasu 3. Erebus 4. Devil Vortex 5. Zaphkiel 6. Artificial Ascent 7. Bausha Vortex 8/9. Hatred/Black Blizzard (I forgot which one is higher but I think it's Hatred) 10. Subsonic 11. Infernal Abyss 12. Athanatos 13/14. The Hell World/Mystic (I think The Hell World is higher but I forgot which is higher here too X.X) 15. Phobos 16. Sakupen Hell 17. Bloodbath 18. Aurora That list was so weird it had a remaining top 100 demon (Hatred) lower than 2 current legacy demons. People seemed to overrate the shit out of Bloodbath & Sakupen Hell, but I guess that's not too surprising when Bloodbath was GD's ultimate challenge for so long & Sakupen Hell was probably the most notorious "impossible" level in the game for a while. Also interesting to think of how both Bloodbath & Bloodlust's year-long reigns at #1 would've been cut short if Phobos hadn't been very underrated & if Crimson Planet's rate hadn't been delayed nearly a year. (Honestly thinking of Bloodlust being #1 for *only* 3 months is the less odd bit to me when you think of how Crimson Planet could've been #1 for 9-10 months.)
i had this on in the backround during school yesterday and missed all of it. so i rewatched the whole thing with my dog. very entertaining and informative ^^
Was looking forward to the new vid and so far it hasn’t disappointed what so ever, I never find myself bored with your vids and the way you manage everything always keep me interested no matter how long or even what the vid is about. Keep up the amazing work my dude, looking forward to the future! Edit: the timestamps are very cool, you should keep that up as well.
I remember getting called an idiot on the forum list because I posted a comment asking why Red World Rebirth wasn’t on the list a couple weeks after it was verified, not knowing that Rob hadn’t rated it yet.
I think one of the reasons the demonslist is so important is due to the fact that extreme demon is such a big spectrum of difficulty and that people have to look on the demonslist to see if the level they want to play is even possible for there skillset
Technically cataclysm wasn't a top 1 since Silent Club was rated for a short time but it was extremely underrated. And yes, ICDX is another demon who went to top 1 to legacy list.
Bro, anytime you make a video I’m going to watch it. You make really good videos and have a very calming voice. If anything, I’m excited to see you have a long video 😊
