Did he?

Dom2k read quote”Those numbers are not why James' performances have been shocking. Is it his nonchalant attitude that mixes with tentative play when he is trying to make something happen? That is what will be remembered for years and what has thrown so many of his supporters off balance. It's throwing passes into teammates' feet or over their heads, the kind of lack of focus James never shows at this level. When he turns the ball over, it's usually because of his aggressiveness -- trying to squeeze in a pass or losing the ball in a crowd when fighting into a double- or triple-team. It's standing quietly on the weak side of offensive plays, waiting to see whether the ball will come to him while his team is down on the scoreboard, as if he were biding his time in the second quarter of a game in mid-February on a long road trip. It's staring into space during huddles instead of giving instructions to teammates or advice to coaches. It's going back to biting his nails, a habit he thought he had kicked a year ago. It's no longer wearing his finest suits to games to show off his expensive wardrobe to the cameras, as was his custom. In the Cavs' locker room, and next door in the team family room, and upstairs in the coaches' and executive offices, people who know James well are trying to figure it out. The truth is James' teammates have never seen him in this type of mood before, so passive and reactionary. Not the outgoing, over-the-top leader they have come to follow no matter how it might look on television. James' family and friends are just as shell-shocked, whispering and wondering what they can do to help The coaches, especially Mike Brown, who is suddenly on the hot seat after back-to-back winning seasons, are looking at things in game film that they had never seen from the MVP. James is giving no clues. Given the chance to talk about whether it is his sore elbow -- team sources continue to insist the injury isn't serious -- or whether it is something else, James has declined. "I don't hang my head low and make excuses," James offered, "because that is not the type of player or the type of person I am." The problem for the Cavs: What they are seeing from their franchise player is not the type of person or player they knew him to be. 2010 NBA playoffs: Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James not acting like himself LeBron has different look this series May 12, 2010 Brian Windhorst ESPN www.espn.com/nba/playoffs/2010/columns/story?page=lebrongame5-100512

@@Abbad1579 So he quit but yet he had one bad game that series,if the Celtics defense is playing you with triple teams or double teams then they're is nothing you can do.They did the same thing to Kobe and Wade but did they quit no either did Lebron.nice try tho.But Kobe quit in 2006 against the Suns. How can you quit if your shots just aren't falling. You can't help that, you just one of those bad nights, it's your fault but it's nothing you can do about that. Just because he failed doesn't mean he quit. The same happened to MJ with the Pistons defense in the Bad Boy days with the Pistons but did he quit when they play 1 on 5 or triple or doubled him? No.Say what you want but Lebron didn't quit. Quitting is giving up on your team and not trying, none of that was true and they accused him of quitting cause he's their leader and he played bad.Accusations aren't always true, that's not conjecture that's facts jack.

Thank you for pointing this out, LeBron was trash in Game 4, that’s the game he absolutely should’ve won for Cleveland where his teammates were good enough, a pattern of 3 straight years choking to inferior seeded underdog teams that were Not top 2 seeds and Game 4s LeBron choked away winnable games in 2009 ECF vs Orlando, shot 13/29 with 8 Turnovers, 2010 ECSF vs Boston, shot 7/18 with 7 Turnovers and 2011 Finals vs Dallas, an 8 point meltdown being outplayed by JJ Barea.

Just like MJ, bad coaching mixed with a bad performance turned into a really bad game. I think Jordan was making way too many bad reads, and LeBron here is missing way too many open shots. Really interested in seeing the breakdown of the game Kobe "choked". I say he choked but that's based off the handful of clips I've seen of that game. Looking forward to seeing if it's more of the same or if those were just outliers

*Man the first run with Cleveland ran it's course. It was time for him to leave* ,2003 to 2010 Cavs was not a great team or organization *they didn't take steps to put good players around, a once in life-time player* .They even tried an out of prime Shaq in 2010. The best coaches he has had are Eric and Lue, Blat and Brown were decent and Brown was coach of the year 2007 and even Lue screwed up in 2018 finals (by not calling time out or prepping his team before the final minutes of the game 1/2 in 2018 Finals the JR Blown play). *2011 Finals WE KNOW, WE KNOW* but that is the only real legitimate criticism of LJs career and finals record. Major difference is *LeBron won what I called the Triple Crown 2x in a row in Miami. NBA MVP, Finals MVP, Championship in 2012, 2013* and was *snubbed of unanimous MVP* in both years. He proved he was the best player on a team with 2 stars and in the league (very rare). 2010 ECSF was not a "Quit" to me he had done everything he could do, they quit on him. •City turned on LJ (burning jerseys) best player in their franchise history •Dan Gilbert's disrespectful letter •Expect for Ben Wallace, Jamieson in 2009 Cavs didn't bring no championship contending help, an old Shaq as a last resort in 2010. • Multiple finals appearances •1st Championship in 50 years 2016.

Can we all take a moment and think if Cleveland executed a plan to build around LeBron like the Bucks have done building around Giannis. LeBron and Anthony Davis are the latest examples of all time talented players that their organizations did not responsibly take care of. Based on reports it sounds like you might be able to argue KD was subjected to it as well. Although he had Westbrook, Ibaka and Harden he was not featured and it is well reported that the organization saw Westbrook as the leader. Plus, the Thunder had all those players and didnt win anything.

The parallels between Giannis in his current form and Lebron circa 2007-10 are so similar it’s scary. Critics look back and see the incredible performances, stats, and awards Lebron has from that era and won’t be able to fathom the idea that Lebron was still underdeveloped and still in need of growth to be able to win a title. They just see that an MVP lost and provide few details and context. And the same will be done with Giannis. It already has started with last year’s playoffs.

I do think the Celtics made LeBron realize that the cavs were nothing without him and can you call unforced turnovers with the amount of detail he has to take in at one time trying to 1v5 a team? If he had a flowing offense and messed up then sure but he was a one man crew and that'll get turnovers out of anyone.

That’s more help than Jordan got who never had nba best record until 1992 and won nba title in 1991! You could hand check Jordan his teammates couldn’t make as many 3 pointers as Lebron teammates, Jordan era the power forwards and centers stayed in near the paint they could foul you hard as shit MJ is smaller than Lebron yet he had 2 titles by year 8, 3 by year 9 Lebron changed teams for year 8 had 0 titles, by year 9 had 1, by year 16 end Lebron still has 3 titles! Pippen avg 17.8 points a career high in 1991 and scoring for teams in nba were higher in 1991 than in 2010! So Mo Williams 17.8 points in 2010 are worth more than Pippens in 1991!

It's the lack of ball movement. If ball had moved more, and not just one man dictating whom to pass or when to shoot everyone would be on their rhythm and start hitting open shots. The most successful teams in NBA history like the Bulls, Spurs and Warriors won that way. While Lebron won with his talent and superteams even til now his team has no ball movement. All ISOs. 18 years into the game, the only improvement Bron has is him making guys pay leaving him wide open but it doesn't translate to his overall team success if talent doesnt cut it.

Good video. At the time, what made me feel like he quit was his comments after game 4 in which he blamed his teammates for not stepping up when he had a bad night. Cleveland had a 2-1 series lead before this game. That team also had a descent amount of talent. Mo Williams and Antoine Jamison were still borderline all-star players. With that said, coaching was definitely a factor and the lack of player movement made it easier for Boston to key in on him.

Hello, here's the secret. The Celtics big 3 were done Organically through asset management by Danny Ainge. The celtics basically traded 6 players for KG and 2 first round picks. The T-Wolves were also desperate to get something in return because of the Joe Smith scandal that's why they never had assets to put around KG at that time. Sign some players and the rest were developed. The Big 3 teamed up at ages PP(30), KG(31), Ray Allen(32) while the Heat Big 3 teamed up at ages LB(26), 26(Bosh), 28(Dwade). They beat the Celtics in 2011 with rondo basically playing with only 1 hand and in 2012 they beat them in a close 7 game series with Celtics up until like 8 minutes left in the 4th and these was against a Celtics with ages PP(35), KG(36), Ray(36 nearing 37). In 2013 Allen signed with that famous game 6 Finals save by bosh and Allen. In 2014 PP(37) and KG(38) were in Brooklyn Nets and met them in playoffs and the Heat BIG 3 gentleman sweep them while in the finals a 32(Tony Parker), Manu(37), Timmy(38) beat the Heat at their PRIME in a gentleman sweep with Danny and Kawhi as their key. The MODERN SUPERTEAMS which the MIAMI HEAT started have one thing in common: PLAYER COORDINATION calling each other to team up in 1 organization(while it's great for other players in a toxic organization). While the CELTICS BIG 3 were done ORGANICALLY through assets(give-and-take trading) hired other role players and the rest were developed through the season in practice, with RONDO approaching Prime in 2011-2013 and a key starting PG in 2007-2010 then comes the ACL injury. Worth Noting, every team LeBron has success is by teaming up with 2 other franchise players themselves of a different team REQUIRED they are at their PRIME(Wade&Bosh, Kyrie&Love) except for the Lakers but still got 1 superstar at his prime though with role players that are ex-superstar/Allstar and some developed.

Well Jordan Vs Pistons and LBJ Vs Celtics aint a good comparison. Why ? 1st. Jordan able to push Celtics to 7 game 2nd Jordan able to beat Pistons eventually ( with a 4-0 sweep) w/o getting into any Super Team ! 3rd That Boston Team were really old (other then Rondo) Rondo were the best player of that team. KG was 33, RA was 34 and PP was 32. And Kendrick Perkins was the only legit rim defender for that team. Besides these 4 players and Rondo, the most important parts of the team were perimeter defender Tony Allen and Glen Davis. They'rent that strong. But For Pıstons all-stars of the team (Thomas, Dumars, Aguirre, Laimbeer, Rodman, Johnson) were between 27-32 (Thomas were 27-28 against Bulls 4th LBJ's Cavs roster was better than 1987, 1988 and 1989 Bulls roster. 5th The Pistons that MJ lost against also beat late Celtics and Lakers franchise (86 Celtics and 87 Lakers were the best teams of that era) They''re that strong. 6th Pistons were much much tougher in terms of defense and they're far more physical. 7th When Jordan finally passed that Pistons (4-0) he wasn't in a super team. And Pistons still had the same roster as their previous championship season roster. On the other hand, LBJ only able to pass Boston in 2011 with Miami's Big 3. And Boston even got older. Rondo was injured, Injured and Old Jermaine O'neal and Nenad Krstic were their only center options and Rondo were the 3rd or 4th best player of Celtics for that specific series. And the Celtics still take 1 game from' em ! Not a sweep like Chicago did to Pistons. And 8th When LBJ finaly get over Celtics, D.Wade were the best of the series (not LBJ) (actually D-Wade was the best during all 2011 Play-Offs and Finals) . But for MJ's case, MJ is the main man. Also can you show me any last minutes of a game like that for MJ Against Pistons ? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--v5qIApQK0c.html So cuz of these facts. Nope, what LBJ did against the Celtics not the equivalent of MJ did against the Pistons.
