When Dorothy told that entitled customer why she wasn’t going to tell him to have a nice day. Is the reason why she will always be my favorite character.

My favorite part was Dorothy’s interaction with the customer. It makes me laugh every time because it was classic Bea Arthur! I sure do miss these ladies!

I love when Dorothy said to the cab driver walk away now and no one gets hurt.

I love when Sophia saw Dorothy and said pussycat and hugged a female hotel guest instead of Dorothy and said to the guest get the hell away from me.

This is the best episode of Golden Palace, because Dorothy is in it.

I loved this show and wish it had lasted longer. Also, Don Cheadle was so gorgeous back then, an excellent member of the cast!

It just isn't the same without Dorothy.

This is the only Golden Palace episode I watch. It’s just not the same without Dorothy. Bea Arthur makes the entire show.

I wasnt even alive when this show was on(I was born 2003) but I watch reruns sometimes with my brother(hes 24 but his brain is like 60) old. this show is hillarious. Wasant that into it when I was younger but finding clips on youtube now.

I have only just started getting into this recently, I bet Estelle missed working alongside Bea in The Golden Palace

I love this show and the original golden girls to bad the spin off didn’t last more seasons rip to my golden divas🙏🏿

Instead of buying a hotel, they should have just stayed at the house and rented to someone else. They might have made it at least two more seasons.

The storyline of Golden Palace never made sense to me: why would three ladies of a certain age buy and run an hotel? They had a comfortable life in the shared bungalow (I believe by the end of Golden Girls it was no longer just Blanche's house and they all owned it equally), and the didn't need the money, so why take on something that was such hard work?

Too bad Dorothy couldn't have made more guest appearances

Man, I miss when shows had genuine laughs instead of laughing tracks of mildly amused people

Don Cheadle and Cheech Marin are in this? That's cool.

Hulu should’ve combined this only season with the original series cause it still has that same feel as the original to some extent

The Dorothy have a nice Day scene does make me remember Maud too much. I think it was a mistake even though B is absolutely great in her scene. But I wish the writers had found out another ways to turn the goden palace into a complete successful show with or without B but they failed. The show was not as much fun as the golden girls. You could sometimes tell the actresses were playing their part. On the contrary they had found a way to be 100 percent natural and so relatable in the GG. One of the best show ever !

I had no idea this show existed .

What is the real number of this episode ? There is no season 2

The concept is just so unbelievable, that's why it did not work. They're supposed to be in their late 50s and Sofia in her late 80s. They were all retired and enjoying life. Now we have to believe they are working like mules all day at that hotel: NOPE. This was painful and humiliating to watch. I don't want my dear, loving, sweet, golden girls working so hard when they're supposed to be enjoying their golden years. Actually, that's happening nowadays with all the inflation going on, old people have to go back to work.
