What I like this version of Shredder is that that he never quits and runs away when the first misfortune happens during battle yelling something corny like "I'll get you next time, Turtles!". Instead of that he fights til either he falls or his opponent does.
@Miles Goodison-Fearon Yeah Scottie Ray should play characters in original american cartoons, than just this one. I think he should do american cartoons than dub anime like he does most of the time. He should do like Sam Riegel, work as an Union VA.
Scottie Ray is highly underrated. Easily the best portrayal of The Shredder/Oroku Saki that I've seen and it's hard to believe it came from 4KIDS. He's one of the most memorable parts from the entire series and steals the show almost every time. His evil laugh is up there with Mark Hamill's Joker, just phenomenal voice acting!
@Miles Goodison-Fearon Yeah he DESERVE to be on american Hollywood products, NOT dub anime &/or other foreign cartoons with ridiculous voices & dialogues. The 2003 Shredder/s is the ONLY non dub character he has voiced, atleast what i can think of. I think he is wasting his time on dubbing anime when Hollywood SHOULD have discovered him & hire him for american projects. He SHOULD have reprised his role as the 2003 Shredder & been the final villain of the 2012 series instead of the 1987 Shredder were he has the same VA as the 2012 Shredder for some reason. The only downfall of the 2012 cartoon i think the 2012 had was that it never used VAs from the 2003 cartoon since they used actors from the 1987 cartoon, 90s live action movies, 2007 animated movies & even from the Michael Bay movies for some reason wich i think was wrong since Michael Bay movies are terrible &/or stupid.
@@mphlohi But the Kraang is the dimensional counterpart of his kind to travel through the dimensions in the multiverse of all existence as the Ninja Turtles are known as the Shredder’s greatest enemies.
Aaaaah the power! I had almost forgotten, The Sword of Tengu. The sword which i made villages to waste! Brought castles to ground, Vanquished armies! The sword that i used to conquer Japan! AND GAVE POWER TO THE TOKUGALA CLAN! IT IS MINE ONCE MOOORE!!
@Sean Ramsay Ironically as Viral showed the Turtles the future of the battle of 3 different Shredders, The creators said that they were originally planning the plot but got cancelled, As for Shredder fighting Tengu Shredder with the sword of Tengu, It is possible he could be on par with him since as Splinter stated, The sword is a mixture of science and sorcery, But if he loses the sword, Idk if Tengu Shredder would be able to wield it without suffering since i don't think anyone will ever be able to wield the sword without the protective glove to master it since of course Ch'rell must of use some programs that will allow his exoskeleton to channel it's power without damage effects, But that's one thing we will never know also since the turtles or more likely Donnie destroyed the Sword of Tengu.
@@leonduncan3327 actully we seen splinter used it with out the the glove while yes it did burn his hand but tengu prob could use it with no side eff being hes mystic powers prob protectes him
@@frankspick7544 True, But too bad it never revealed how a true master can wield it without being damaged since like i said, i don't think anyone can master it, one thing for sure, when Leonardo wield it in the past virtual reality, That clearly doesnt count.
The best Shredder hands down. He is very ruthless, scary, powerfull and he was the closest of all the incarnations that nearly killed the Ninja Turtles & Splinter. Shame we don't get villian's like this in animation anymore. I honestly a lot of the times compare him on the same level as Slade from Teen Titans (2003).
2003 Shredder is the most menacing Shredder ever. Besides why does he have claws only on his left hand? It would have been better if he had claws on his both hands.
Yes The Show Is Fantastic Such A Shame They Couldn’t Make It Like The Comic Book Style That we’re Much More Gritty And Darker And Violent Because It Was Still A Kid Show
Scottie Ray's portrayal of the Shredder is my absolute favourite. This version of the Shedder was tough, terrifying, one of the most intimidating version's of this character. Heck in Turtle's forever he was willing to wipe out the entire multiverse starting with Turtle Prime just to get rid of every version of the turtles and he didn't even care that he would be wiping himself out too. This Shredder is definitely dedicated to destroying his enemies no matter what might happen to himself along the way
I personally don't like that the shredder is controlled by a blob in his stomach, though, making the shredder essentially a robot, otherwise, he's still the best shredder imo
Will Pierce He isn’t an imposter Shredder per say, more like the second Shredder, and the Shredder that the Turtles first faced against. The Demon Shredder was the first one though.
The fact that he's just a small squid alien and yet gave the turtles and Splinter so much trouble is a testament to how truly threatening he is. Not even the actual demonic Shredder in this same universe posed this much of a challenge as Ch’rell.
Utrom Shredder def had more of personal impact on Splinter and the turtles than Tengu Shredder did. Slaying Hamato Yoshi, nearly bringing Leo to the dark side, having the Elite Guard beat the crap outta him, burning down April's shop, being the reason for Zog's sacrifice, etc. Yeah Tengu was the inspiration/original bearer of the Shredder name, but those heinous actions mentioned Ch'rell did of his own accord.
The Utrom Shredder had more impact on the Turtles and Master Splinter’s lives, yes, but I have no doubt that had the Demon Shredder lived on, that his true potential would have been revealed as a challenge to the Turtles. Then again when the Demon Shredder returned, the Turtles had to assemble a large alliance, proving just how much of a threat to the world Saki posed. Ch’rell is indeed a menace, no question about it. I just think that Oroku Saki could have been an even bigger challenge. Also, don’t forget that the Turtles also required dragon avatars, Karai’s link to his mantle and Hamato Yoshi’s spirit to beat him.
Honestly, his nature ad an Utrom, and only that, takes just a little away from me. Like he's not even truly powerful, just a little slimeball controlling a mech instead of a man with exceptional strength and skill.
After watching countless anime, watching many movies and tv shows. I have to say this version shredder is the scariest villian of any form of media I've ever seen.
It doesn't matter what he says, his voice makes everything so awesome! But yeah, his lines are so cool too! And this man has the greatest evil laugh I've ever heard!
This version of the Shredder is the perfect embodiment of a villain; the kind of evil that haunts the heroes' darkest nightmares. Even with Splinter, the turtles combined and with help from friends, every battle with the Shredder becomes a near death experience.
Both this and 2012 Shredder are great on their own rights. Their reason for being an antagonist is what set them apart. 2012 Shredder is a ninja master who is consumed by anger and rage, and just wants to end the person who he believes is the cause of his wrath. 2003 Shredder is an absolute monster who keeps coming back stronger than ever because he lives to destroy everything in his sight (it’s been a while since I watched 2003 TMNT, but this is how I remembered him and according to this video)
This version of the shredder is terrifying not just because his cruel, but he has the capability to mop the floor with most foes with little to no real effect
Scotty Ray did his thing. The Best Shredder of all. Terrifying. Cunning. Badass. This Shredder caused the death of millions. He would've made Hitler look like a bitch.
Hands down this Shredder is the best in my opinion as he was merciless and terrifying. The character design and the voice fits perfectly. Take a bow Scottie Ray! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
What separates this shredder from all the other versions is that his goals weren't just destroying the turtles or controlling the city. This shredder had his priorities straight.. he didn't have any compassion for anyone, he was literally a universal planet level threat, he was the destroyer or worlds. He literally wanted to erase the entire multiverse just for his ambitions.. he committed war crimes all across the galaxy.
Truly he has earned the name of. The one true shredder. Why? Because he almost killed all of the Ninja turtle's and I mean all of them with one stroke.
This guy was my one and only version the Shredder, 2012 Shredder yeah right and Rise Shredder not even close, I'm sticking with 2003 and proud of it Thank you very much.
It’s sad Scottie Ray doesn’t get alot of other memorable roles like Dan Green and Sean Schmmel do , Scottie Ray deserves a lot more roles in fiction media
@@yinsolaya unique is actually pretty corny Because unique also leads to vulnerability of being forgotten and lost to time So the whole idea of “unique” is BULLSHIT
Ch'rell is the greatest shredder of them all or at least the 2003 shredder throughout it's entirety in comparison to the 1987 and 2912 versions, they'd get stomped (already saw that with the 1987 version in turtles forever)
"I came to this dimension to Destroy turtles!!!" 9:41 😂😂😂😂😂😂 hands down this was the most Terrifying Villain of its time. A actual threat to everything. Soo many encounters where I was at the edge of my seat because of him
