do you think dan ever comes home from a long day at work, goes upstairs thinking “ah I’ll go see how the love of my life is”, opens the door to erin’s office to see her wearing pink gloves in front of a green screen pretending to be a flamingo going on holiday, and then he just backs up and quietly closes the door and goes to bed

I live for the chaos this channel provides- I don't even keep hamsters anymore- I'm a gerbil convert- I just enjoy this human so much

i know from experience how mind-numbing it is to draw a repetitive pattern like those bricks, but DAMN is it satisfying to watch someone else do it in 2x speed. also congrats on being able to paint in a straight line. my bricks would've all slanted down on one side.

A train themed cage could be very cute!! Like ramps could be shaped like railroads 🛤 and the sandbox could be a little wagon

If I tried to paint a brick wall like that, it would be messy and crooked. I love how perfect your painting looks. When I was in my 20s I loved woodworking but couldn't afford tools. Now my hands are too painful to do anything like this. I have to live vicariously through you. You have a great sense of humor but you should be very proud of this project.

Maybe a short layer (tunnel?) under the section built could raise it so your beautiful painting skills are not hidden as much. The “tunnel” could be decorated as a sewer tunnel under the city scape and be another hiding spot.

I am taking you as inspiration to use my father's tools while my parents are away over the holidays and actually learn how to use them (I am 27, please no one be too concerned for my wellbeing, other than like Erin I have ADHD so the biggest concern is just me forgetting I was building something and then rediscovering it a month later)

u: I suck at art. also u: is dedicated enough and talented enough to paint a lil mural with a 4 y/o's drawing of a house (seen at 3:05) for ur dogs and paints like 1000 bricks that don't look like red blobs and actually look nice that will be almost completely covered in bedding for a hamster who'll just hate u for not giving them seeds 24/7

This is what robots are for, painting tedious patterns xD Well, if it becomes a common thing to paint, maybe you can poke some holes on something for a template that you can just paint over, lift it up, and the paint comes out as perfect bricks. Similar to when artists paint something and use tape to block out a clean border. Tbh, the bricks came out perfectly, like scarily perfect. Your patience is incredible.

Aight i know this whole video isnt about the cooking but i got so invested that i went straight to the grocery store and went to my friends house to use all the cooking equipment and MADE THE SOUP. AT 1 AM. my friends (3 of us, finished the all the soup in under an hour) and let me tell you, thats the best soup ive ever made.

Honestly I love this channel. The DIY home and animal goodness, the unexpected and tasty looking cooking portion, the fun transitions and excerpts. Especially with the world as crazy as it has been it sure has been nice to be able to sit down to such enjoyable content. And of course Erin is a delightful specimen of the human species.

You should make a dividing wall so you can have deep substrate at the back, and lower substrate at the front so that you can still see that really nice brick work you painted!
