I believe you need to finish a generator as the last alive, then if the killer closes the hatch it still counts as it was the last generator to be finished, i had the killer close the hatch multiple times while going for the achievement repairing gens and none of them counted.
I remember getting the Left For Dead achievement completely out of the blue. I was in Ormond with a gen next to a gate, and it was already at 80% when the last other survivor got hooked, so during the sacrificing animation I was like "the Killer isn't going to expect this" and finished the gen to escape afterwards. I was also playing Bill ironically, the planets lined up that game
Yeah, I've gotten 60% of this game's achievements, and I still haven't gotten this one, so you're lucky haha. I was thinking that Sole Survivor would be a godsend for this one.
Funny story about my "Where did they go?" unlock. On the old Haddonfield I got hooked outside of a house and the hatch spawned inside of that house and 2 came to rescue me while the last one waited on the hatch with a key. And the fact that I played this match on SoloQ makes this one of my best moments of DBD.
I remember doing where did they go while playing solo q, because I ended up with a team of three and understood what they were doing by the items and offering they brought
Honestly that experience must have been so cool. Back then, not many people knew what they were doing, so randomly getting a team willing to do the achievement is cool!
I chose to farm it, since I suck at Nurse, hahaha. The one that gave me tons of stress was Evil Incarnate, and that I’m currently trying to get Outbreak Breakout.
nah power moves isnt that bad, outbreak breakout is definitely the hardest achievement in the game. power moves just needs you to do one gen and escape, nothing else. If you are having trouble, try doing skilled/expert generalist first, as it kind of lets you get used to not having your main perks you run. as someone who was running iron will calm spirit distortion, it wasn't the hardest, but for people who use stuff like off the record or lithe i could imagine its a lot harder.
As someone who has all the achievements, the worst one was doing the RPD 20 escapes in 2 days with 50 map offerings as a Solo. Especially when people were giving up left and right. I played RPD so many times, I was dreaming about it too.
Facts. I also have all the achievements and by far the most tedious and annoying trophy to get legit was that one. Solo queue at the time was really rough... actually nm, solo queue is always rough 🙄
It's worse when you consider that you can't track the trophy progress on PS4, so unless you were counting them yourself, you'd never know how many more times you needed to do it
I got the Left for dead achievement when all my teammates left in RPD and the artist watched me do all have gens and let me escape. I thought at some point they will just kill me for taking to long
The trapper one is really hard, it sounds pretty easy if you read it but if you do it, you will find the surprise that you need to catch the survivors from your beartrap, you cannot hit them
I agree with the Myers ones, I got the incarnate one in 4 tries, but took me MONTHS to get 300 level ups. For the Huntress one I suggest Nurse's Calling to see auras of already injured survivors within 28m. Nowadays everyone heals behind stuff, but this perk helped A LOT finding easy downs of unaware survivors.
I thought it was pretty easy tbh. I got it within my first 11 matches when Twins were released. I would not say I am such a skilled survivor either, average at best.
I think the main reason some of the achievements are much harder than they seem is because they are really old. Like the hemophobia one, there weren't as many super strong perks and killers back then. Plus with higher mmr you're less likely to avoid being hit during games...
7:15 Fleet of foot can be done with Steve's perk Second Wind/Renewal, you just need to unhook people while using this free perk. It's a very easy achivement to get actually. :)
its also super easy if you run boon: dark theory, because any time another unique survivor walks into the boon it counts as one, so you dont even have to try for it at all.
I remember going for the Evil Incarnate achievement all the way back when I started playing. I also tried doing Adept Myers at the same time. But because of the old Merciless system, I got Evil Incarnate before I got adept
A couple tips for Evil Incarnate 1. Be patient. It’s gonna be a long game. If someone goes into a locker, leave them slugged. Buys you some time. Use plenty of slowdown and focus on gens if you have to. 2. Use generators to your advantage if you can afford losing one. If a survivor knows that you can’t mori them while they’re working on a gen, let them finish it for a guaranteed mori. Body block them if possible. 3. Bring Play With Your Food. It’s not impossible without it but not having it makes it much more difficult. 4. When it comes down to hatch, if you’re not confident in patrolling gates, maybe hang around hatch and try to make the survivor work on gens or herd them away from hatch. 5. Stay calm. Don’t panic, then you’ll screw up attacks, and that’ll be a massive waste of time and opportunity. I got it within 3-5 tries, on Lerys. All the survivors were good sports about it except the Feng (ofc). Also for Left For Dead, Sole Survivor is the best perk you can bring. I got it without even fully planning it.
Part of the reason why "Where Did They Go?" was a hard achievement to get. Is due to how buggy it was. The amount of times I have done it only for it to bug out can not be counted on your hands.. It was extremely frustrating. Often 1 or more survivors would not get it despite others getting it in the same match.
I remember the old hatch mechanic, oh man it was fun escaping with all 4 survivors in hatch. I specifically remember myself escaping on grim pantry in hatch next to shack with another duo, very vivid. I also remember how you used to be able to open hatch instantly with a key.
Regarding the "Where did they go?" achievement, I somehow got it playing killer. The group of survivors messaged me saying they wanted to farm and get the achievement, but when they escaped through the hatch I got it and they didnt. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
The worst part of the Outbreak Breakout achievement is RPD is already a super hated map and if the killer knows how the offering viewer works in game (when you press escape or start and see the offerings on the menu) they can know who used the RPD offering and just tunnel them out, some killers probably don't even know that the achievement is in the game but will absolutely tunnel someone out if they know they brought an RPD offering.
For From the Void She Kills: Use the add on Jenner's last breath, convince the survivors that you are friendly and let them work on a gen. Then you blink twice, return and blink again to grab one, that's how I did it.
Me too. Just let them farm for points, literally stood behind a survivor on a gen, blinked 3 times in the same spot, and picked them up. Much simpler. Not legit, but it’s insane to try and get legitimately. You have to have the right add ons and hope you happen to get them on a gen. It’s all very luck based. Hats off to those who did it.
Skilled huntress is actually pretty easy: Usually you can farm it in the end game when survivors are at the gate, most of them just wait there so you can see them escape so I just ignored them and moved far away, thrown hatchets and reloaded while they healed back each other. Yes, It's that simple, because the majority of survivors don't want to escape without you seeing them escape.
I actually have L4D, and I just started around Halloween 😊. I was almost done with the last Gen when the last person went down, and I thought, "eh, might as well finish it." After, I hid in a locker when he inevitably checked. He quickly closed the hatch and decided to half camp the gates (Wesker was staying about 10 secs next to each gate before checking the other one on the opposite corner of the map). I got out with his tentacles tickling my bum😅
The Hemophobia was actually really easy to get back then in 2016/17 as there were a lot of M1 bot killers standing still and spamming M1 while the player was asleep. Survivors would run in front of the bot to initiate chase for points and tank hits to heal each other. The bots were also very common and only 4 realms with 1 realm only having one map mixed with 3 tiers of offering to go to a specific realm (common, uncommon and rare). This may account for it's 20% unlock rate as it's almost impossible to play a single trial without taking a single hit no matter how bad the killer player is
I’m down to my final 4 achievements and one that’s been surprisingly difficult to grind out is Taking one for the Team. As it ask you to take a protection hit from a recently unhooked survivor 250 times. Securing points for this basically sandbags your teammates as you have to practically unhook in front of killer. I always bring BT for this but that only does so much and it makes you come off immediately as dead weight.
Just finished Outbreak Breakout a couple of days ago. It was an experience hehe. But thankfully I was in a 3man squad. Its kinda sad that they removed 'Where did they go?', that was quite fun to complete.
The majority of achievements are easiest to get when they are added, the better players you go against that have figured out how to prevent things such as Evil Incarnate usually leads you needing to play at odd hours to get the achievement against players who either aren't playing well or are new. Skilled huntress can be gotten by hitting survivors going out the gate after a "friendly" match.
I remember getting "Item of Obsescion" and "Hemophobia" by accident in the same week I started playing the game. I also remember that I got "Where did They Go?" from a completely lucky match where the killer was AFK and I was playing with other two friends, then I only had to call the remaining survivor to the hatch once the generators where done. "Left for Dead" was also a lucky event where after smashing us down this Huntress decided to let me and the remaining Bill complete generators, but I don't know why, Bill disconected, then I could complete the last generator and scape by the gate. I also teamed up with survivors to grind every possible achievement, including the "From the Void She Kills" and "Skilled Huntress". Now what is left from killer achievements are only the adept and specific ones from the killers I didn't buy yet. Now I am grinding the last 3 survivors achievements that are not from adepts, that are "Bless You", As MintSkull said, this is a pain in the ass, I need to take one boon every match and pray the killer has a hex, and considering hexes are not that popular this days and I mostly play alone so other survivors almost never leave a hex totem hanging around, that is taking forever. The next one is "Outbreak Breakout", and seriously, that is being fun to grind, I love RPD, but I don't think the killer sees it that way, and eventhough I'm having a good time, it is frustrating to die in a hook when all generators are completed, that happens a lot. And the last one, I don't know why it didn't make it to the video, is the "Taking One For The Team", this achievement is there since I started playing (I guess?) I mean, it's easy to get protection hits near a unhooked survivor when the killer is camping, but 250 times? And also, getting injured in the wrong moment can cost the entire match, so I'm trying to proceed carefuly. If you read all my thoughts above, thanks! And here's a big tip: If you are pacient, poor, live on a not very rich country, or like me, three in one, never I repeat, NEVER buy new characters full price, instead wait for promos and get originals for 4500 shards and licenced ones for 250, 350, believe me, that way Is far better, and mostly on console, you can save a lot of money.
I got the "Hemophobia" achievement thanks to a friendly Ghost Face who just danced around with me and my team. Now I try to pay it forward and not damage anyone on that map specifically, just in case they want the achievement as well.
I have all the achievements in the game and trust me they mean absolutely nothing when it comes to determining how good you are in the game but they make for interesting challenges.
somewhat disagree tools of the trade is an example of skill having to merciless kill survivors with only 3 universal perks. with no gen defence especially now those gens go by so fast. Also the adept is a measure of skill with killer on survivors side yea way easier got those in 2 week all of them in solo que. killer took maybe 2 months. These were against competent players to. From the void she kills does require skill it requires precise blink, spacing, timing and accuracy if a survivor doesn't give you the achievement. Now the Hemophobia is trial and error forsure but still requires some skill not getting his as a survivor is hard unless you against a baby killer or against someone who farms.
@MintSkull I am currently p100 Meg and I have 100% achievements in this game and I really hate it when someone says " oh I have the achievements on those killers/survivors so I know what I am talking about" which I think is total BS. DBD doesn't reward time investment so people end up playing casually or switching to a competitive game.
@@dracophoenixttv tools of the trade and adept killer really isn't all that hard, the issue a lot of people have is like you said a lack of gen defense, but if you're doing good in chase then you don't NEED gen defense, the best pressure for survivors is putting one of them on a hook, that pulls at least one survivor off gens to go for the sacs, another survivor gets pushed off by initiating a new chase, and if you're really lucky sometimes they'll path over the 4th survivor and force them off the gen too. If you're having an issue of survivors using their resources wisely and you're not sure you can catch them in the next 30ish seconds, force a good pallet or two out of them and leave.
After getting all the achievements on both PC and console, my most hated achievement is 'Taking One for the Team' (250 protection hits after unhooking). It's such a grind and often incentivizes bad plays. I was probably lucky getting the nurse grab achievements relatively quick. I didn't mind doing Evil Incarnate because it's actually fun to go for. Triage and Outbreak Breakout were kind of a pain, but playing with friends helps.
I remember getting “Where did they go” by accident with a random group of survivors. They were a swf but I was the random survivor and they managed to find me and bring me over to it, and everyone hopping in after each other. Also got “Left for Dead” by an accident because the other survivors were being a god and I was just doing gens like usual and found the hatch after everyone left (I was trying to get adept Bill. I got it at the same time 💀) Thought it was hilarious to see them both pop up one after another.
Other way to force hemophobia: SWF, bring the offering to spawn hatch at shack, bring the map offering, person attempting the achievement has distortion, sole survivor, wake up, low profile, and the offering to spawn as far away from the killer as possible. Every other survivor goes to shack and makes loud noise on the closest gen to draw the killer's attention. As soon as the killer gets to shack, everyone disconnects, killer closes it, and the person attempting it just needs to not get found and hit in the like 10 seconds before they open the gate. If the killer brings no way out, the gates will be blocked for 12 seconds and they'll be told where you are, which is why you bring low profile so you can run away from it and either all the way around to the other gate, or avoid them until they go to check the other gate and instantly open it.
The key to DBD achievements is to try and get most of them while you are just starting to play the game if possible, while mmr is still fresh and low (even tho DBD matchmaking is often crap) I started hunting achievements 15 hrs in and now I'm at 350 hrs almost 100% (all solo queu), all I have left are the super grindy stupid achievements like myers tiers and nurse blink hits etc.
I somehow got Evil Incarnate by only killing 2 survivors. The first player DC'd during the animation and the fourth hid in a locker, which I grabbed him out of and hooked. I still have no idea how the achievement unlocked
Outbreak Breakout is the ONLY trophy I've yet to unlock over two separate versions of DBD (both of which I switch between) As far as the rest go, Skilled Huntress and Taking One For the Team are the only ones I haven't achieved a second time
I was 1 box away from the Happy Holidays Achivement, I stoped to play DBD (totally unrelated to the achivement) and started to play again in January, when I saw this achivement at 99% and the Lunar New Year event at the same time I jumped on the occasion
I honestly just got hemophobia by accident after trying to get the generator in main building one and just out looping the killer by accident lol, also just realized i got item of obsession at the exact same time
For Hemophobia, if you are shameless, you can do it this way: Rush and do the gen, then keep yourself away from the killer until the other survivors die, so you can get to the hatch. You can use perks to find the hatch easier and the offering to have a chance at this map.
Hemophobia was pain. I only got it because the nurse face camped 2 survivors and tunneled them out of the game. Thankfully when it was my turn, I found a key and escaped through the hatch before she could hit me.
Guess I'm one of the few to get the "From the void she kills" achievement lol. Didn't even have to try hard to get it like 5 years ago just played nurse normally like I had two blinks then a survivor jumped into a locker thinking I had used my second and last blink but little did she know I still had a third I had been intentionally hiding just for the achievement haha. Didn't know it was that rare tbh as it's been so long since I played Nurse XD.
Also didn't realise I even had the "Skilled Huntress", Hemophobia, expert and skilled generalist and the happy holidays ones either lol edit also forgot the left for dead one too somehow 😂.
I'd personally add Not today - Jump off hook 50 times in public matches. (Tedious and uses a mechanic that's hard to get use out of without a certain perk) Taking One For The Team - Take a protection hit within 10 meters of a hook 250 times. (Very situational, very grindy) And Hiding Seeker - End a chase by hiding in a locker 35 times. (8/10 times you'll get found by the killer, and that's only if you're not using a specific build.)
My Where Did They Go? trophy was lucky as hell. We formed 4-man SWF by finding each other on a forum just for the trophy. We were prepared like a Spec Ops team; brought medkits, map, strongest perks, map and hatch offerings, communicated as efficiently as possible. Turns out killer is AFK and we got it for free. It was hilarious.
Skilled huntress and Evil incarnate are worse. The Bad part of outbreak breakout is the necessity of playing on one of the most hated maps in community
To force, possibly. But you can get the achievement legit just by playing the game, only it takes ages. It’s the same as “The man behind the bush” which is an achievement that has been in the game for ages and it has a very low unlock rate!
@@MintSkull its rare also because Myers is in Bad state now. When he came out he was really nice and easy now its struggle to play him because People Got better
I got "Item of Obsession" the other night without even going for it. I just saw the achievement pop up at the end of the game and when I read the requirements I was like "damn, that's really specific"
I have sevral of these. From the void she kills: I brought a build specifically to get it but a Dwight let me just farm it. Hemophobia-Got randomly at some point. Item of obsession- I also got by noting when I was obsession and playing extra careful every time. Triage- I got by running Empathic Connection over and over. Power Moves, Skilled, expert, tools of the trade I just attempted over and over. A Trickster let me farm 'Left for dead'
I got “left for dead” and “Where did they go” achievement from a glitch back in the day. It just gave it to me randomly. I was happy that I didn’t have to do that achievement lol
I thought the “Where Did They Go Achievement” became just opening the hatch with the key? When it changed over that achievement auto popped up for me, but I had the OG one with 4 people escaping. It took us 2 attempts, but we had to play super sweaty and do map offerings, hatch offerings, and bring super meta perks lol. It was still so much fun.
Left For Dead achievement is bugged btw. I unlocked it like that. Basically, "Complete last generator" requirement is very lax in reality, and you have to do was to complete the a generator when the hatch opens (doesn't matter if its the last one or has 4 more remaining), when the killer closes the hatch, you can just open the exit gate and escape, and it counts towards unlocking it. I still remember getting it like this against a Myers on Temple of Purgation map and was shocked when I saw it pop.
A way to do triage easily: Unhook survivors and heal them Going from hooked to injured counts as a health state change so if you heal them it will make progress (just run we'll make it so the survivor stays still)
I remember getting from the void she kills back with the old nurse, I had no idea how I did it but in that match I was drooling in focus, I blinked across most the map and grabbed a survivor who was getting out of a locker. That felt good man
item of obsession does mean last survivor, but even if you all escape, as long as you are techincally the last one out, it still counts as it. thats how i got it
I got "where did they go" purely by chance. I found a key in a chest that was right next to where the hatch spawned, someone went and unhooked and they both ran to where the other two of us were waiting next to hatch.
I remember when doing outbreak breakout I somehow went against the same Freddy 3 times in a row trying to do their adept. All 3 times he lost the adept to someone escaping with the hatch. It was funny but I also felt bad for them.
For anyone who is curious, Adept Knight has a 0.5% completion. Not Sure about Adept Skull Merchant, but Adept David has a higher completion at ~3% on steam.
Regarding From The Void She Kills, you also shouldn't forget that it is one of the oldest achievements in the game. Therefore a lot more people have had a chance at it than is the case with more modern achievements, as there are a lot of now inactive accounts that technically speaking count as people who played the game for the achievement page. Old achievements have therefore been tried by many more accounts than new achievements, given that newer accounts get access to the old achievement, but old accounts obviously didn't have access to modern day ones. Also let's not forget that the achievement was a lot easier back in the day when everyone was clueless and inexperienced and Nurse had 3 Blinks in her basekit. I think those factors explain the 2% unlock rate better than saying it's all because of farming matches. Sure those exist too, but I don't think they are very impactful on the stats.
My brother who barely played dbd yet along killer, bought myers dlc as a gift for me. Following day i was surprised to see the achievement evil incarnate unlocked. Apparently, he got 4 kills with iri add ons first try. Bless him
About the achievement skilled Huntress, in 2022 August I decided to check the last 100 players who got it, and around 92% were trophies hunters and not Huntress main. The way to find out is that they mostly got the skilled huntress achievement before the or very early after getting the one that requires to throw 1000 hachets as Huntress (1-3 months is early enough to consider them as Hunter trophies). At this time in 2022 august, only about 1700 players got this achievement. So if we try to remove and get an estimation of who got this achievement in a "legit" way : 1700*0.18 = 306 players 306 players in 6 years.. The way trophies hunters were trying to get it was by sniping unhook saves with iridescent head, sniping the guy who will get unhook because they were no basekit BT at this time. It just shows in my opinion on how hard Huntress is on console and I'm happy that I was an Huntress main because it's the most satisfying killer in my opinion
I remember when I was grinding for the Left for dead achivement, I changed my name to "Read my profile pls" and in my profile description I wrote that I'm trying to get this achivement, and I asked the killer to help me out. After weeks of trying (playing like 8 hours in average daily) I finally had a good guy Legion helping me out. I used to have all the achivements for a while, now I'm missing 5, because I have less time to play. (Been playing DBD since 2016)
Once I was a platinum solo steam player. But outbreak breakout broke all my mood in grinding for them. But it still one of the only achievements I don't have. I think the only people that say this achievement "is not that bad" are people with 0 experience with achievement hunting or SWF mains. I was like "Deep cleansing steam is the wrost achievement ever" and the most frustrating experience I ever had in grinding an achievement but when that shit came out HECK. FUCK THIS.
I think Taking One For the Team is the "hardest" achievement in the game. You have to take 250 protection hits around recently unhooked survivors. You won't get this through playing naturally since what it is telling you to do (exchange hook or unhook infront of the killer) is generally a horrible idea that only inexperienced players do, and the window for it counting is very small anyways. Pretty much this is the "throw around 150 games, ruining the experience for everybody involved" achievement.
I have Hemophobia, Triage, Power Moves, Expert & Skilled Generalist. Getting the last 3 was fun! I only got Item of Obsession because I ended up in a Bubba trial where he chased/face-camped our Ace all game. I just did the gens during all the racket. He never even saw me. I waited until everyone else had gotten out (I opened a gate, they somehow got another one opened) and bam, there it is. I got Left for Dead because of a friendly random Freddy. I'm at 9/20 on Bless You. Admittedly I'm not trying that hard to get it, I'm a little sick of boons. I have 1/20 on Outbreak Breakout. I've escaped more on RCPD than that, but most people beat me to the gates, and by then, I'm only focused on escaping. If you're having trouble with Triage, try Empathic Connection with Empathy (or Open-Handed) and other good healing perks. Survivors will come to you if you're not far away.
I actually got From the Void She Kills on one of my first ever nurse games because I wanted to try out the bookmark and a steve stuck on a gen after I blinked near it, tried to blink to him and got stuck on a wall before coming behind him with the third blink.
Did you know the "Outta nowhere" achievement has been bugged since early march and cannot progress at all. So I would say thats currently the hardest achievement xD
Fact check on Evil Incarnate: my friend actually got it, and all 4 Survivors DC'd either during or before the mori. Also, no, perkless Killer is infinitely harder than perkless Survivor.
A lot of this video was weird to me. Where Did They Go was not replaced with Left For Dead. Left For Dead came out in 2017, and hatch changes were made years after that. Quick Draw is not hard to get. You just play Doctor with a full totem build and you are bound to get this in a couple games. He says Skilled Huntress is the only genuinely hard killer specific achievement, but includes both Evil Incarnate and From the Void She Kills on this list.
I almost got item of obsession last night as I went up against a pretty easy face camping trapper. Issue is I opened the exit gate and fearing that I would get hit left before the others. Forgetting you have to leave last!
I have almost 8k hours on console and I still don't have skilled Huntress, downing survivors 100 times from further than 24 meters with a hatchet is extremely hard
Have had this for 5 years. Now with the PS5 version I don’t feel like trying it again. Not because I can’t, but because the fun of DBD is SEVERELY LOWER with all the dumb updates
Great video! I have all achivements. If they wouldn´t have been hard, they wouln´t be ACHIVEMENTS. They were ALL very fun to get! (On PC). But "Where did they go?" was not replaced by "Left for dead", those 2 achivements where live at the same time
I am currently missing 7 achievements in DBD, Skilled Huntress and Outbreak Breakout being 2 of them. The Power Moves achievement was pretty fun, got it in about 2 days if I remember correctly. The achievement that I would rather never do again was adept Skullmerchant, I had to force a 3 Gen and since the update that ,makes it only possible to get a merciless in the end, I couldn't even give the last survivor hatch. That match was painful, never again
Prousdest accolade in my DBD career was getting a team of 4 solo Q to coordinate for Where Did They Go, was a farming doc on blood lodge, dropped and picked up that key atleast 100 times lol
I did the Mayers achivment, the last guy was standing right at the exit t bagging me, cause he knew i tired to get it. when endgame collaps came to the last few seconds I charged at him and actually killed him, but because the end game collapse already expired, the game didnt register it as 4 kills and i got robbed. Thats when i stopped caring for achivments in this game.
I actually got Hemophobia by complete accident which I'm completely thankful for, going for the Platinum of this game is already tricky but going into a match with the mindset of NOT getting hit a single time would've been awful
