@@Gravastar7 Ah, the ol' "well if you don't like it, do it better" stupid bullshit. As if criticism can ONLY exist if the critic has literally attempted to make the exact same content and achieved a better outcome. Didn't like the Hobbit films? Well you'd better shut your mouth unless you have a trilogy of films on your IMDB page! An utter trite idiotic mentally. So here's another lesson, if you're going to do something that you put your name behind, make sure it isn't a waste of time for your audience, which this video is 100% a waste of time.
1 he says he will join her when he kills him 2 she is a bene gesserit and thats dumb to show her multilated body to the rev mother and this takes place before the harkonen attack so why would she be captured at this time
To ADD to this ,Feyd, during his duel with Paul also Mentions the words "A Pet Perhaps ? Any special Attention for the Pet?" .. Directed at Chani,If he had the chance he would of turned her? ,mutating her also into a such creature? ,that the Harkonnens were known for doing this to there victims a,,,fate worst then death....such obscure ,malice and vileness ,the method used on Thufir in the 1984 version of dune also comes to mind, where the victim is forced to milk a genetical altered cat,to obtain antidote...a Harkonnen is truly a person you would not want to met in a dark alleyway
@@ViralKiller there also the Harpies that Feyd also called his pets, suspect word Pet means person enslaved or in bondage , literally altered to be kept as a pet, kept for pleasure , amusement and example.
It is Gregor Samsa. In Dune part 2 there is a scene where Rabban tearfully screams, "We have to get rid of it, uncle. This, this thing is not Gregor. Gregor Samsa Harkonnen is gone!"
I did more computations, and I believe it's less complicated then growing a clone to mutate. I think the Barron used Transmutation Genesis on the poor Doctor's wife. think Star Trek Transporter meets The Fly's Transmutation Teleporter.. Essentially they scramble your atoms and reconfigure you to whatever form/ animal they have The DNA sequence of... technically on a good note she could be changed back but I'm sure the process is extremely expensive..😢
The movie did not remain true to Barron Harkonnen as (in the book) his death was dealt by the hand of Alia Atreides via the Gom Jabbar (not Paul's Krysknife).
True, but it would have served little purpose and unnecessarily complicated the film adaptation to include Alia as a born person. Having Paul kill the Baron streamlines the narrative a bit without losing too much compared to the book. Film adaptations do this.
In the books they have dog chairs and his kid turns into a worm monster, the books are weird I'm cool with them changing some stuff when the author was taking meth or something in later books.
I would say they did pretty good (in the book Feyd and him try to murder each other more than one time) and Alía I would say it dosen't matter she is one of the main characters in Messiah, to me is kinda more cool that Paul did it in the films (in the books the whole scene happend to we know Alía is a badass with only 4 years)
I believe the creators stated it is a genetically experimented human....if thats what they had in mind, thats what it is in the movie...plus it can understand English
@@ViralKiller oh ok, but the understand language part is the benne geserit used their harsh voice on it and it would probably be trained to understand some human speech but Aight
I just assumed it was Wanna Yueh. It made me jump when I first saw it in the theater too! If that is her--what a tragic way to be tortured and humiliated.
I dont think it was because the way the FX team talk about it, they dont seem to be clued up on the Yueh story. They just mention that it is a human the Harkonnen torture
Its Yuehs wife "Wanna Marcus" I dont care what you say, he says in the film "They take her apart like a doll!" why add that dialogue? And its definitely a Bene Tlielax creation. I honestly thought it was such a great touch when you live in a Duniverse where they have "CHAIRDOGS!" and yes they do exactly what it says on the tin.Dogs you sit on.🥴🤪😂
ur right about the line 'They take her apart like a doll'. But when the FX team talk about this creature they didnt really mention it being Yueh's wife...just some human
@@ViralKiller I've been a fan of Dune for a long time Bro, Paul is my Anakin and The Harkonnens my Empire, I hate them, that's why in my head canon it is Yuehs wife coz of how vile and disgusting they are especially The Baron, as a kid I had nightmares badly about The Baron from Dune84.
Pretty big secondary scene to Harkonin though, and the BJ that voice commands it... As a thread between the Calidan scene with her gum-Jabber, into the barons' sanctuary of sadism, and 'that thing' which does understand in spite of its mutilations, we can deliberate - rightly - the obsessive cruelty the Harkonins are capable of, and the power of the BJ. A motivation, we can empathise deeper with Jessica, and Yueh's motivation. Excellent pathos.
I feel that the creature is all that remains of Wana Marcus. It would be in keeping with the Harkonnen's cruel and sadistic nature. It would also pay off Yueh's line "They take her apart, like a doll."
could be...would be strange to make it another human...Im not sure the effects team were even aware of the Yueh wife plotline, seems they wanted to make something freaky
Transmutation..think the fly movie Transmutation pods..they put her in one pod and used dna sequenced from animals/insects to reconfigure her..that way they can pick and choose what parts stay human and which parts were transmuted..They kept her brain and consciousness intact so she would face the whole horror of what was done to her...
Carter Berk is it? I couldnt figure out why this channel changed to me. Then i realised it used to be a lot more entertaining and 7 months ago you took over the voice. It's not the same ent. value.
The plan is to handover the long 8-9 minute segments to AI voice. I have one that is identical to mine...these are more tests...I will focus on doing great intros instead.
