Jay is getting better at memorizing ocarina melodies! Wow, Jay's reaction to all the stuff that just happened is everything I could have wanted. There actually is still one cuccoo in adult Kakariko, though it's a bit hidden and requires later equipment to reach. I stumbled onto it as a kid and felt quite proud of myself, even though it's just for fun, and I always thought it'd be involved in some super-secret, but no luck there. Somehow, I never noticed the Song of Time was also the same three notes repeated. Probably because the length of the second/fifth note is extended? I mentally split it up into 2-3-1 note groups (23 is number 1!). Hookshot time! Best item in Zelda, no question. I've noticed there's sometimes a bit of oddity with the visual effects from the songs not quite looking right. I guess that's just an issue with this PC remake? Also, I didn't know about talking to Malon at night at the ranch like that, that was a neat little scene! Jumping the fence with Epona is such a cool moment, though you can also jump the low wall off to one side of the ranch. Either way, you can just imagine Ingo staring in shock as it all happens =) The OOT moblins are vaguely terrifying, even if they're easy to deal with once you know how. I love the scenes for learning these later songs. Minuet definitely isn't my favorite of them (actually, I'm not sure on a distinctive favorite, there's a few contenders, but I'll bring them up as we get to them), but it's still good. Most of my hobbies are games and gaming-related, though some of my sub-hobbies within the general category of "video games" are definitely varying levels of niche. Also reading, I do a lot of that.
