I just lost my Husband two days ago, I found out he hid that he was diagnosed with pleurisy and while he was suffering from what I thought was just a cough, I kept asking him to quit smoking but he is stubborn. I found myself driving to a hospital to find out they couldn't get his heart to beat again. Please love your love ones more. You never know how fast you could lose them. I loved my husband so so much, and I miss him tremendously.

I lost my wife of 15 years about 4 years ago, from cancer. It was the hardest thing I have dealt with in life, but life does go on, and though there is always that void, the toughest part for me was getting through the first 8 months or so. It’ll obviously be different for different people, but the extra hard part doesn’t last super long. Stay strong, and focus on loving those still in your sphere.

Dr. Berg, I just wanted to share my experience; I recently took my dog to the vet and she is going to be 11 years old. Veterinarian said that my dog was in very good health and asked me what I do for my dog. I said I walk my dog everyday at least 3.2 miles to 5.2 miles There are some nice walking trails near my house. The best decision I made was to retire early at 62 in 2020. Not only was this a good decision for my dog but for myself also. Since I had more time I began to exercise. Not only did my dog lose weight but I went from 197 lb to 167 lb. Probably the most important thing is that I have less stress in my life. I sleep better, eat better and feel better. I recently seen my cardiologists and he put me on a echocardiogram and did the stress test. Basically he told me to just keep on doing what I am doing. I took that is a clean bill of health. I also wanted to "Thank You" for all of the wonderful information that I've received by listening to you!

Trust in the Lord read the Word of God. Psalms 94:19 19 When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. Matthew 11:28-30 KJV [28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Philippians 4:6-7 KJV [6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

This was so informative & interesting. I have Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, Diabetes & Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was hospitalized a few months ago due to severe arrhythmias my ekg were very abnormal. I was told i was having a heart attach & was put on a nitroglycerin IV drip. Which only gave me a headache. I had a cardiac catherization & my arteries are in perfect condition. They said the right side of my heart was enlarged due to having to pump harder to get O2 to my lungs. Im on 3 liters of O2 24/7. Ive been on oxygen since i was 36yrs old and im 46 now. I smoked for several years and i am paying for it with my health. Im in a hospital bed in my parents living room so i can be around my family. I was told i would die before i was 45 but im still fighting for my life. I believe everything happens for a reason. And i still have purpose here on earth. My faith in God has provided a peace that passes all understanding. There is still hope and i believe that Dr. Berg gives us the information we need that can increase our chances of living longer & extending our hope for greater things. I would also add that getting a monthly massage helps greatly reduce built up stress and tension in the body. Sure, those things mentioned helps relieve temporary stress in the moment, but massage therapy helps release stuck tension, emotions and muscles that can cause chronic stress and make you stay in fight or flight most of the time. Massages to me are not talked about enough and the importance of having another trained human being push energy around/out of the body. To me, it helps take me out of fight or flight and resets my autonomic system.

I thought about this, too and thought that maybe this has something to do with the vagus nerve which is linked to releasing and relaxing which can get stimulated through massage. Tears began running down my face as I was working outside, before the sun came up out on airports tarmac’s with a fever and the achy ness was the worse. I thought I would call a massage therapist and disclose I was sick and if she’d see me. Absolutely she would see me and I kid You not, by working in my lymph’s and rest of me, I walked out a whole new person! It was so hard to wrap my mind around how great I felt despite going in with flu like symptoms! It’s my new way to beat sickness when the symptoms come.

My last grandparent is on hospice because she refused to listen at her last doctor visit, when they said she had one more "bad" meal and it was over with... Well last week she decided to have a late night snack of 4 large boxes of jello and ate ALL OF IT in one sitting and was in the process of making toast (I guess for either buttered toast or most likely toast and jam) when she collapsed on the floor and flatlined shortly after. She had a DNR and the EMTs didn't know and she was resuscitated and was put on a ventilator all last week as all this happened this past Sunday, and we decided to take her off the vent a couple of days ago and for hospice to take over since she made it through the night. But yeah. All this to say, I left keto when the funds got tight and depression caused me to not want to cook all the healthy food because sandwiches are easy, but I can tell a major difference since I'm not on it as strictly as I used to be. This situation has really kicked me into fear of having gone back to my carbilicious ways. I have a loaf and a half of gluten free bread, and once it's done, I have to go back to keto. I can figure out cheap keto until i have more funds to do better, but i was also getting lazy about cooking. 😬 No bueno. I dont wanna end up dying before 70 and having everyone mad at me that I couldn't put down a cupcake long enough to be with those I love as long as I can... Edit: she's now passed away.

This is fascinating. I just had a metabolic panel done on Tuesday. Everything came out great, but my LDL is very high. Triglycerides were very low and HDL was great. Blood sugar was also great. But, I’ve had a ton of real stress since January. My dad passed away and I was appointed Executor. My aunt broke into my dads house and looted, and was working him to change beneficiaries in everything 2 months before he died. So my stress levels have been almost unmanageable. But I find it fascinating that my LDL is so high right now and I’ve cut way back on sugar, carbs, and even stopped my nightly wine after my dad passed. There is something to this, wow! So next on my ✔️, make a concerted effort to manage/reduce my stress, the biggest hurdle in my life right now. Thank you!!

Low triglycerides and high hdl are great factors, along with low blood sugars ! Those are all you need to be healthy! Ldl fluctuates often because of how much fat your body uses and your activities! Your using fat as your main source of fuel (if ur on low carb) . And ldl are basically taxi cabs inside your blood needed to transport fat around your bloodstream to different locations ! So more cabs ( ldl ) are needed to transport the fat ! So no worry !!!

Propylene glycol is the liquid carrier for the flavoring and nicotine. It is also what produces the smoke. Do you know fog machines? That’s propylene glycol. So when you go into a room filled with smoke produced by a fog machine, you are inhaling nothing but vapor of propylene glycol.

8:00 Propylene Glycol (PG). Often used in antfreeze now because it's replacing wthylene glycol which is very bad if ingested. Propylene glycol is certainly used in many food flavours as the solvent base. The other one would be ethanol in flavours. Older flavours used benzyl alcohol and propan-2-ol = isopropyl alcohol but they were banned in Europe. These solvents are great for dissolving both essential oils and water based compounds to give a uniform liquid flavour that doesn't separate out.

Practice mindful meditation every day. 15-30 minutes, but even 5 minutes is better than none. It's very simple, put one hand on the stomach and inhale and exhale through your nose while your stomach rises. You can optionally exhale through your mouth. And as you do so, repeat "rising, falling, rising, falling". It really works.

Makes sense: higher attitudes have lower air pressure, so less oxygen can be exchanged by the lungs and delivered to the bloodstream of the body. I’ve heard a few stories about cancer getting rampant in those who already had it after they visited mountain regions. Kind of makes sense too - cancer strives on hypoxia. A relatively stable individual who has a cancer gets voluntarily or involuntarily affected by the hypoxia event - and then boom, tumors get rampant, leading to a quick demise in weeks or months. Otto Warburg (a person who discovered the mechanism of cellular respiration) was onto something. He stated that a compromised cellular respiration leads to cancer. And it seems to be a plausible observation. One recent example is Joe Plater, a RU-vidr who had a thyroid cancer. He was relatively stable, then came hypoxia event and the hell broke loose.
