Seriously, you fear the coffee at work? Sure. Folks sometimes get wacko and pee in the pot, but no mind control drugs in the coffee makers yet that I know about! ...So. Do you share cups with coworkers?!

@@curtischildress9580 My coffee "fear" in London, UK, is there a phobia for this l wonder, is unless, of course, you work in the new office block sky- scrapers, which l did for Ernst & Whinney (Young) years ago - now retired in N Cyprus. E&W had filter coffee makers and/or FREE beverage vending machines. Generally, you used mainly _instant coffee_ powder coffee from a jar! Not a problem you're thinking; if it's *Nescafé Gold Blend* right 🤔 but people leave the lid off and/or don't replace the lid properly so it goes off and gives you stomache ache. Of course, if you have massive catering tins then you've lost out because they last for months and cannot use from an occasional fresh jar. So you have a _perquisite_ a "perk" you *cannot* use because of inconsiderate co-workers 😔. Luckily, there are many Cafés nearby where you can get a Lattë or 2 on your way to the office but just before l retired it was £3.50 for a takeaway lattë or £1.67 for a _"drip"_ Starbucks coffee OR bring your own.

Do you bring your own water as well? No? Too bad...

I actually thought somewhere along the same lines. I first thought that he was the Hive's adaptation to the girl, but it seems they both are in it. Although, that doesn't discount the theory, maybe they are both in their own bubbles the hive has created for them and don't actually interact with each other inside.

I know. Outstanding stories travel well and fast while watching. I'm so impressed by this concept of the hive control. It's kind of where we are but the greater exploration of this idea hasn't been done. Are there real human hives in this universe? I'd bet my human soul on it...and win!

@@HigherUniverse How much to stop the main lady actress from smiling no matter what she says? Its the creepiest thing about the whole short, but probably just her screaming internally "im acting! this is so cool!". She kills any hope of immersion with that nonstop smiling.

The star actress is smiling from ear to ear no matter what she is saying. I think shes over-the-top-extreme-giddy to be acting. Shes not exactly stellar at it, but if she could just stop smiling, she would probably be pretty good. But dear god, the smiling is killing the vibe every time she is on screen. Not trying to be mean, im sure its super cool to finally get to be in a short, but she gotta get into character instead of just saying her lines while smiling.

Oh god, she just keeps smiling. Its turning into some sort of horror flick! WHY IS SHE SMILING! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

And wtf, the people at the end werent that bad. Hell, they werent as bad as the two mains. The only one who did good was the one who brought coffee, she had that "dead" vibe about her. Her smile wasnt idiotic either. At least the people talking at the end tried to be in character... WHY IS THE MAIN LADY SMILING NO MATTER WHAT SHE SAYS! WHAT IS GOING ON!

A sense of humanity still exists at this stage where the hive programming is being instituted. A loss of life still touches souls. This aspect of humanity richly adds to the story...without it the story would be sterile and without connection to the viewers who are very human.

@@Cabotop1 Unfortunately, the original creator/producer is no longer interested in making the sequel. Last I heard, he moved away, bought a farm and is no longer involved in the industry. :( I know what you mean, it really does suck because people seem to love the story. Even some of my production team and cast are always on my case to finish the story, but I really can't do it without Jeremy since it's his story. It's been so long now that everyone involved has moved onto other things so I can't see it ever happening. But I appreciate the kind words about it. And I guess I learned my lesson: if something is going to end on a cliffhanger, make sure we have the means to finish the whole story. lol. When we made it, we didn't expect it to get any attention. It was just Jeremy's pet project. We thought we might get a few hundred views and nobody would care. Turns out that wasn't the case. Anyways, thanks so much everyone for watching and leaving comments about it. I remember this project fondly and I'm also looking towards the future. :)
