Many people outside of childfree spaces often ask questions along the lines of why are we always talking about being childfree...
...it's because we are a community of like minded people living a very similar lifestyle. We know that representation matters and how important it is to feel seen and heard while navigating being childfree.

When I finally found the childfree community, I was like "Thank god I'm not the only one who doesn't want kids". It's irritating how society expects every single woman to be motherly or nurturing in some way

I think that the childfree community is necessary and useful, especially in this time when more and more young people around the world are deciding to have a childfree life. Like it or not, the future of humanity is in Childfree people and our voice MUST be heard loud.

Creating a community online and in real life is very important - especially because we are still in the minority and the world is very child-obsessed. However, I still have not met like-minded people in real life, so how do we connect, hang out, support each other? Any suggestions? Are there any websites, any forums online?

As a blond European I still mind it a bit that especially people who look like me want to be childfree. However, I realize that it means nothing for me personally and I can still have as many kids as I want (I have three). Not sure if anyone feels uncomfortable about this dimension of the childfree lifestyle as well, or maybe it's just me.

It makes me feel uncomfortable as well. We need more people like us in the world. I personally think the child-free agenda is being mostly pushed on blonde haired blue eyed people.
