There's two incredibles Easter eggs in Ratatouille. Linguinis underwear has the logo on it, and the mime, aka Bomb voyage, shows up as an actual mime.

Violet was always my favorite just because she's so relatable and her powers are cool.

Okay, was anybody going to tell me that the voice actor for Dash's teacher is the same dude who voiced Linguini, or was I just supposed to find that out myself by watching a movie reaction hosted by Syndrome?

The DVD came with an interactive list of all the superheroes in this films canon, and how they died by Syndrome. It was really fun to look through, I'd definitely recommend checking out the special features!

You know Edna made me view capes very differently for many years and I always agreed "No capes!" Then I watched MHA and was introduced to Mirio, now idk how to view capes

"Now Mr. Incredible is a murderer." I'm pretty sure they weren't that concerned with the body count in this film to begin with, what with crushing those goons with half a transport pod, and most of those goons exploding in those spinny blade copters.. which isn't a bad thing of course, makes it different :)

My nephew and I used to watch this on repeat when he was under 2. I can still watch it any time, it’s so great. It’s a three-way tie between this, Incredibles 2 and A Bug’s Life for my favourite Pixar films.

Fun fact: Elastigirl's friend should have been the one who died on the plane crash. Although it would make it way more heavy as it already is,I think it's better the way the scene already is because I think it would scarred Violet's mind worse to not have the confidence to use her powers Also,he looks like syndrome isn't?

Brad Bird couldn't find someone who could voice Edna so he did it himself

I really love the theory that syndromes suit was made by Edna and that she added the cape deliberately...

This is one of Disney's darkest movies because 1 there's a suicide attack in the beginning. And 2 that scene where Mr incredible looks at the supers the androids killed. You forget those people were his friends these were best friends and colleagues he worked with for years. They were at his wedding and he lost contact with them and finds out there a dead.

The Incredibles is one of my all time favorite movies ever and part of the reason is Syndrome. He is without a doubt the best Pixar villain in history. I wish he had survived that explosion and returned in the sequel.

Apparently the friend Helen called to get the jet was originally supposed to be flying it, and the piece they dodge in the water at 14:14 was supposed to have him inside it. They decided to retcon it and have Helen fly the plane, thinking it would be too dark (for this already pretty dark kids movie)

We had a killer AI and it only lasted one movie and never came back

After watching it again as an adult and writer, I've realised something. Syndrome, or rather Buddy, is judged way too harshly by the public itself, which is good, he was made to be like that, and that exactly is what makes him a great, and quite realistic, villain. Let me explain: True, he took it all to the extreme of madness, but the dissatpointment, losing the huge childhood belief in heroes, in someone you admire deeply, is heartbreaking and hurts terribly. And I think most of us have experienced something similar, call it Santa Clause or knowing Spiderman isn't your neighbour. You can relate, and Mr. Incredible realises his mistake, but it's late, "15 years late". True, he was a young hero, and Incrediboy was a bit too much, but many kids are (and on that note, isn't Dash just as intense, and probably just like his dad was?)! It's so easy for adults to dismiss children not thinking of the pain they may cause, making it something small, forgetting they were kids once, and they did the same. That's why Syndrome's final goal makes total sense: make everyone Super, so no one will be (and the fact Dash mentions it earlier is brilliant "we are all super in our own way" "that's another way to say no one is"). He dreamed to become a superhero even though he wasn't born with super powers, but was rejected by his hero. Of course, his actions are wrong and evil and escalate from bad to worse, but his motifs and context are understandable and relatable. That makes him a great villain, or super villain

The story is these films was fantastic, but I'm obsessed with the powers tbh lol. I wish there were dozens of films like this, Frozen 1 & 2, Onward, etc to see the amazing visuals of their powers.
