A while back I remember seeing a RU-vid channel where most of the videos were about pranking. It was really disturbing. The parents would prank each other "using" one or more of the children. Then they would allow one of the children to prank one of the parents. I cannot even imagine how these kids will ever un-think about what they were put through first, but then to be cheered on to hurt someone else that same way! These pranks included things like one parent not wanting to adopt one kid, one parent cheating on the other and telling the kid not to tell, about one parent deciding not to get married, and much more. These people were very hurt and cried in those moments. The anguish and pain wa tremendous. The kids were devastated. Not only did they show them no stability but also trained the kids how to lie and hurt others all for the sake of a "fun" video to earn money off! Really nasty!

It’s giving madeleine McCann vibes. God forbid. But yk the parents basically did the same thing, just a different way. Instead of leaving their kids unattended in a car, it was an apartment/villa/hotel whatever. And instead of going swimming, they were at dinner. Like I cannot imagine HOOOOOOW any mother could be so careless. And if that counts as mom shaming, so fucjing be it, be ashamed!!!

Especially with how much some people obsess over her kids!! Just takes the wrong person to see them there

@@KaseyGoodwill No I didn't start watching them untill the begining of the year. And I don't see videos of my kids up! I parent correctly. I found Josh at the same time so the only videos of any of them I have seen are his videos!

@Kat maybe not specifically but negligence is and police consider it negligence so it's not like people can just leave their kids willy nilly in parked cars without any possible legal ramifications.

@Kat I am in Canada and I don't know where you live but nowhere I have lived has it ever been normal to leave kids under 10 or 12 in a car alone and never in the summer or dead of winter regardless of age. I'm not sure I have even ever seen a child under 10 be left alone in a car and if I did at the very least I would be notifying the store they were parked in.

Only 21 states in the US have laws about leaving children in vehicles unattended, and many allow it if the car isn’t hot or for a certain amount of time- or unless the child is actually harmed. So they wait for something bad to happen then punish the parent, like that does anything for the kid 🙄. It absolutely SHOULD be illegal

Specially in the heat. In aus it’s illegal and same with leaving a dog in the car in the heat.

I made a mistake myself because I couldn’t carry her car seat and a vacuum I was picking up wanted to run in, grab it and be done to make life easier. Yup never did that again. So I get it! Then later after my sons T-ball game was over I was putting her in the car and literally my keys fell out next to her car seat and I shut the door and didn’t realize they had fallen out! The doors were locked and it was a hot summer! I called 911, the fire department showed up and busted my window to get her out and the keys were right there! They gave me reassurance though and said she has tears coming down she’s ok, but I was so upset with myself. Ugh horrible experience!

Most parents have made potentially dangerous mistakes, but the difference is that the good ones (like you) learn from those mistakes. My son fell out of a shopping cart at 3, and landed face first on concrete. It was one of my worst moments. Thankfully he ended up being fine, but it was so scary. We’re only human so mistakes are bound to happen. I’ve been a Mom for 14yrs and have 3 boys. I am still learning things daily. It’s the ones that continue the same behavior and double down on them when educated. It’s so frustrating!

Go easy on yourself. Every parent makes mistakes. How could you have known that the AC would suddenly stop working? I know that it's traumatic for you as the Mom, just the thought of your child getting hurt or die. She ended up OK, give yourself a break.

Unfortunately, that is part of being a kid. They have to see it to believe it. Even more so now days! There is so much going wrong in our world right now. I don't believe it will get better any time soon. I am glad my son is an adult now. I fear for the next few generations.

@@cmm3699 I was glad to see some of the family channels I follow purposely start reducing their children's involvement. It's hard when you have been used to seeing them and then they're just out of view. But it really is the best thing!

Same here and they don't even see how cringey they're being. I've seen people get embarrassed when someone they respect acknowledges their social media pictures or videos in front of them, it's humiliating dumb shit when they actually think about it but when they're caught up in the facade and the trends it's like there's a veil that they can't see past. Also have to point out the tragedy that is the excuse of "it's a TikTok trend!" to condone bad or weird behavior. It's deeply disappointing that people are thinking that way. Ever. I NEVER leave my 3 year old in the car no matter how quick I am going to be. Sometimes we are in and out of a few stores and yeah, its a pain to buck and unbuckle him into his car seat because at this age, he can give me a hard time sometimes, but could you even imagine something happening to YOUR CHILD and YOU are the one to blame? I could never live with myself. I would die. He is my whole life! I just can't imagine taking a risk like that. It just blows my mind. Like what goes through people's minds?😔🤦🏼‍♀️

I used to ask to be left in the car. Only reason my mom agreed is cause she would leave the car running and i would lock it from the inside. Obviously she wouldn’t have left me if I wasn’t old enough to know to do that.

My kids are in their teens and I still feel panicked if they stay in the car while I run into the market or back into the house. When they wonder off on stores I call them to see where they’re at. It never stops.

What if you fall inside & bust your head open? It is NEVER safe to leave kids locked in a car alone. You could have a stroke, fall, have a heart attack, faint, trip over something & break your leg especially hurrying.

@@Ph.D.. yeah- this is my opinion so take it how you want, but if your child is old enough to get unbuckled and unlock doors and get out of the car, then running in and grabbing something in the house is probably ok. I have taught my kids all of these things and how to dial emergency. I leave my phone in the car. 🤷‍♀️ maybe you are talking about little ones, and I totally get that too.

Oh yes. I remember this. It was horrible to see. I have a two year old who keep me on my toes. Clumbing everything… some tantrums… etc. never have I thought those words against my baby. They are children and are innocent. We need to protect them. That’s our number one job as parents.

I got disabled before I had my 3 babies ( now young adult’s) but of course I wouldn’t take that back. Let’s say my disability happened before I had kid’s I know I couldn’t do that to a child. In fact my kid’s were fairly young when I got hurt and I feel guilty about it. So I totally get what you’re saying. I’m sorry that you had to make that decision.

@@JessieLee_ yeah I completely understand that hun and I also understand the guilt side of things too, I know that even by me saying this it won’t take any of that away but you shouldn’t feel guilty because you becoming disabled is and was out of your control just as mine was because we certainly wouldn’t choose disability over ability lol and our ability was taken away from us and we do the best that we can with what we have and also you’ve taught your children some valuable things that not many can have and that’s true compassion, empathy, patience, respect to other human beings and non judgment as well as so many more and that’s hard to come by, thank you for your reply and it was a hard decision but the right one I think, it tore me up at the time but I’m more at peace with it and it rarely hits me now but sometimes it does and I just go with it and through the emotions and feelings and then keep on keeping on 😊😊

The weird part is I wrote a much longer comment,but sometimes I over share,so I erased some of my comment, but you said lots of what I was going to say about my kids at least having empathy, compassion, respect , understanding etc.. my oldest is on the spectrum and he tells women in our community they’re beautiful and so many has stopped me or contacted me to tell me how they was going through something and my son made there day. I’m lucky to have a husband and kids who are this way. They seen how I was treated by the medical community, even friends and family. So they’re all kind , compassionate human being’s that I’m so proud of. When I was writing you I was thinking about how hard your decision must’ve been and how I thought wow this person would’ve been the best mom with a disability. I wanted you to know that. Of course I respect your decision,but I promise you would’ve been a great mum. So please don’t have regrets my kids now young adults are pretty amazing of course with faults like most people.
