Fear is one of those players that always performs stablely. Ive honestly never seen him tilt or make game losing plays. He always seems to understand the game and meta. Also, he adapts his playstyle to his teammates which makes him so versitile. Most importantly, he was one of the first players to show the world that the NA scene could compete... That is why he will always be remembered as a Legend!
Game 2 against Newbee yesterday is a perfect example. He got ganked repeatedly and got no farm early but still stayed focused and rebounded and ended up carrying the game as Morphling in the end.
"10 years from now will people remember me, probably not" "I dediated so much of my life to be a champion it means a lot to me so I'll never forget it" - Fear these words almost make me cry :(
I got chills. It's only been 5 years.... but look at how far eSports has come. We are able to look back now at Dendi, Fear, and all those other players who were there when Dota 2 made history and say that "this was where it all happened. These are the guys that took the risk and it paid off big time."
I won't forget you Fear. You're a beast. That Ti was so great for so many reasons. SumaiL's first LAN as well. You made it possible for so many people Clint. You're a God.
when the Asian E-sport scene already exploded, Fear is still being treated as 2nd class citizen in the US because he is a nerdy and unsociable they though a gamer would be.. I'm very happy for him now, still the 1 and only carry to win TI for the North America region.. meanwhile RTZ is still farming and no TI win yet >.
Fear is just that guy i see as a Legend. When i wanted to quit dota, i watched Fear's part of The International and it remembered me how he gambled everything and still lost. I feel kinda bad, but when EG won the international. I felt Fear really deserved it.
