Happy October!! Wow, it's been a busy few weeks however I still managed to buy yarn and knit!!! Join me for a walk through "The Farmers Daughter" nursery and pumpkin patch. It was a glorious fall day and we enjoyed all the beautiful displays and little shops.
I'm wearing the Autumn League Pullover designed by Two of Wands. I refer to this pattern and yarn in Episode 30.
On the mannequin is the Sidar Denim Chunky Pullover. I knit it in Valley Yarns Hardwick. Hardwick is 50% alpaca, 35% wool and 15% silk.
I'm working on the Cover Vest by Hyggestrik Lone Kjeldsen. I'm knitting it in gorgeous 100% alpaca I purchased at a famers market on Cape Cod.
I used Amy Howard paint for my husbands desk. I'm thinking about painting my formica countertop with another Amy Howard product.

Hi there, thank you. I decided to have some length taken off my hair. It was time. Regarding you wanting to start a podcast, I say go for it. You don’t need much to get started. I did purchase a very inexpensive stand for my phone. Otherwise that’s it. I use my phone to make the video and in the beginning I didn’t edit. I’ve since started using I movie to edit, however a lot of podcaster don’t edit. Soooo, I hope you try it and if not that’s ok too. It’s our own life we’re creating everyday and we must do what brings us joy and not stress. Take care and thanks for watching!

I love how you show us clips of your home and your surroundings as well as all your beautiful knitting. @@theislandlamb thank you for the lovely compliment. Yes, the season of fall is upon us as they say. We’ve had highs in the 50’s with lows in the 30’s a couple of days. Today we’re looking forward to a high of 74 and sunny! I’m busy knitting the Weekender Crew by Andrea Mowry. I feel like I always need to have a sweater on my needles so I have something to show on my next episode. I hope you have a wonderful day! 😊

Glad to see you back on RU-vid. You have been busy! I have been contemplating the Autumn League and I am glad you spoke about the yarn. When you say it was twerking do you mean the column of knit stitches are leaning a bit? I ask because I knit another sweater with this yarn and that’s what is happening and it is driving me a bit nuts. I believe it is called “biasing”. It is good to know that the purl stitch along the side will help as I have been looking for a yarn alternative so I don’t need to deal with the leaning. Thank you for the book recommendation. I need something else lighthearted. I just finished Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. One of the main characters is an octopus named Marcellus. I thought it was a wonderful fairly lighthearted book as well. Enjoy the season. 🍁🍂🎃🌻🧶

Enjoy the coziness dear Diane. We are still not in sweater weather, but we are planting new vegetables for the fall as the heat did subside a bit. The cabled sweater is beautiful and that handspun yarn really special. I have really enjoyed listening to your home renovations story. Ivana ❤

Hi there, I used the Amy Howard system. You can find her on RU-vid, that’s how I learned about the no sanding no stripping process. She has a plethora of colors to choose from. Good luck and let me know how you make out. Happy knitting! 🧶
