Love the Isleys Brothers, Ernie is such an underrated guitarist. One of the best ever. I saw them live in Oakland Summer 77. One of my favorite Isley songs is Hope You Feel Better. Just listen to Ernie and the vocals on this masterpiece. Of course the great Who's That Lady is another Gem.
THE ISLEY BROTHERS > THE LEGENDS THEIR LEGACY IS TIMELESS!!! LOVE THEIR MUSIC ITS PHENOMENAL. RONALD ISLEY AND HIS BROTHERS ARE SO iINCREDIBLY TALENTED AND FINE!!! LOVE LISTENING TO THE LEGENDARY BROTHERS. ONE OF THE MOST CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED GROUPS TODAY!!!
Ron Isley doesn't get the credit he deserves for being able to adapt to the times and evolution of R&B music... He got hits from the 60,70s,80s,90s, 2000s... Jams my grandparents ,parents and even I bop to till this day.
You are absolutely right. I’m 69 born in the 50s. I loved RON ISLEY (HIM/HIS) through every decade up until this very day. We use to call HIS songs baby making songs. But I disagree. To me, and in my humble opinion, his songs are “I love You”. And contrary to the generations having sex both boys and girls, men and women populating irresponsibly babies without the blessing of two parents staying together (like this songs says “Let’s meaning let us stay together) to properly raise the child(ren), try loving HIS songs because you’re just in love and you want strengthen your love with your mate. HE has a song for every occasion. I just listened to this song, and although I lost my spouse suddenly and unexpectedly to death last year, early this morning, this beautiful morning that the Lord has made, I wanted to hear Ron Isley music cause I still love my Husband and I wanted to make love with him. ♥️. Cynthia in Birmingham, Alabama.
I didn't know that this song had an original video, so at 03:11 and at the end of the song I liked to see the original bassist doing the backing vocals for the last time.
i do love all of the The IsIey, I just wish i could find a twin that is exactly like him, he can blow. we need more music like this, that will bring more love.
I have always loved the Isley brothers since the early 70s. Ronald’s voice is beautiful. I will be seeing them at the Bournemouth International Centre in June 2020. The first time in the UK for 10 year. Look forward to seeing Ernie playing lead. Cancelled due to COVID. Now 2021
