Matt this is off topic but you should look into making your own waste oil heater. They’re very simple. Several designs and videos here on RU-vid. For you it would be a very cost effective way to heat your shop! No more disposing of used oils!

I tried the snapping fingers method to the RCV install. Developed trigger thumb after 4 hours. 🤕 It finally worked. 😎

You can tell a RCV by the orange boot or the clicking noise they make when you turn. Already taken them out and went back to stock. I couldn't take it anymore.

Hey Matt, all of your videos are really awesome and helpful. I have never seen anyone have to clearance the steering knuckle the way you did. I have JK44 axles with Reid Racing knuckles. Will I have to clearance as well or is that just a TJ thing?

I've heard people complain about those outer axle tube seals; that they just end up collecting dirt and grit in the tube. I guess you must've had better luck with those.

Might want to consider safety shoes/boots. From personal experience it takes over 6 months for toe nails to grow back.

@@bleepinjeep It was the same design and the price mark up was similar, but they were 1/10 scale. I was really tired of blowing up axles. The ones I bought had beefy hardened steel shafts, but the outside cages holding the ball bearing grenaded on all 4 axles. I replaced them with plastic shafts from another 1/10 scale truck and those eventually took out both drive shaft and the rear upgraded diff... The car could do back flips from a standstill, its not a fair comparison to the real deal. That money pit lives on a shelf now.

I have always thought the excellent visibility from a FC was worth the work. I enjoy the videos, if I turn off the sound. Too much "personality" and verbal mucking around for me.
