There is an anointing in the KJV that is missing in modern translations.

What we wrestle against is Christians not loving each other.

I'm so tired of hearing people say, "The KJV is too hard to read and it's too archaic." It does have archaic words in it. However, the use of , "thee, ye etc.", is very important to detail what's being conveyed in the scriptures.

The best suggestion is to keep at least 2 or 3 translations handy for comparison sake otherwise you could misconstrue verses for sure.

If there is any legal document in all the world it is the King James Bible... It is higher than any other, because it it is the testimony of God himself.

Dear Pastor, I love your videos and I do understand what are you trying to do, I do agree with you that ESV is not a good translation, but, unfortunatelly, these missing phrases are missing from all modern translation (I use NASB and they are missing there too). Praying for you, God bless.

Brother, I appreciate your demeanor. I, after years of research, am a KJB through and through. Years back I sought a KJ only church, found one, but soon got soured. They'd condemn to hell all who do not follow the KJB. I believe those that don't are missing out on God's pure words, but they'll have to answer to our Lord if they fall into error. I attend a church that mainly uses the ESV, but I stick like glue to my KJB and lovingly point out differences when I feel I should. Never has that brought contention, but hopefully it opens a few eyes.

The only way the Gideans would use the esv is they added back the textus receptus verses. Great job 👍

16 minutes 11 seconds....love it. I find it amazing that, most bible versions don't line up their scripture with other scripture. Say in 1 Samuel 17 where David killed Goliath...but in ...2 Samuel 21:19 where Elhanan, killed Goliath , and in 1 Chronicles 20:5 Elhanan killed Lahmi Goliath's brother. I think The living bible, the NIVs and NKJV, get it right, but they fall far short on many other things.

There's this set I want it's sold on Amazon for about $150 USD, but it separates each book of the Bible individually, and I don't know why but it feels like it would make it easier for me to get through the whole Bible reading each book individually like that rather than with a traditional Bible where everything is all in one. BUT, I'm only seeing the set sold in the ESV version & I'm having trouble finding a set of all 66 books like that in the KJV. It sucks because I feel like that would just somehow make it easier for me to read, but I can only find a set like that in the ESV version.

We sing the KJV word for word in Psalm and the Our Father. I pray we go back to the text someday.

Thank you for sharing... its so weird in the first one, the ESV says earlier that it is difficult for those who have wealth to enter the Kingdom of God but then as you said, remove the part about trusting in riches.Ephesians 1:7-8, ESV does say through his blood though. IN Phillippians 4: 13 , esv leaves out the word CHRIST and puts in He .

Isn't it amazing how the exact length of this RU-vid post is 16:11 !! The 1611 KJV which is based on textus receptus is KNOWN to be the most accurate rendering of God's word, period! All other versions are attemps to corrupt the word of God and are inspired by the enemy. See Gail Riplingers book, "New Age Bible Versions". Super important information!!

The smartest guy I know in Christianity and was a Bible theology teacher uses NIV pre 2011, ESV mainly. He explained most people understand those better. He doesn’t get caught up on any of this when I asked him. He just simply says he doesn’t like the 2011 NIV version.

The best Bible is the one you read everyday. I have trouble reading, put words in, end of sentence switch last two or three words. I’m born again and have an on going relationship with Jesus Christ. I use ESV everyday and fact check with KJV.

This might sound silly but I just bought a nice leather KJV on amazon (most popular 21K) and I want to get another more plainly written version for comparison. I didn’t realize how many versions. Looking for a thin line. Do you have any version recommendations?

Hello! In the beginning of the video, you mentioned Mark 12:47 as a missing verse. I looked through KJV and Geneva, and can’t find that verse anywhere?

nothing better than the KJV. If you are having trouble reading, practice practice practice. Try Audio while reading. I wouldn’t trust any publication or philosophy from anyone about any subject since the German age of reasoning. Truly the source of most academic foolishness.

Have been looking for a kjv church in my city. Only found 1 denomination which is very conservative reformed. Women all wear hats etc but thats the one Im going to attend. Never did like all these modern style sacherin happy clappy ones anyway

I’m an ESV user and used to be KJV only but recently have been feeling convicted. They say it’s added things in the KJV but what if they were added by inspiration if the Holy Spirit for clarification?

Mr. Steve Waldron, been searching for a Bible but seems the internet misunderstands my Request. Yesterday i found my self reading the Bible with a magnifying glass so i searched to bye a Bible wwwith larger letters but as mentioned was shown Large Books not The Actual Reading scripts, are there Bibles with Larger Readable Print without the need to use a Magnifying Glass???? What is your favorite KJV bible? I think right now for me it's a tie between the Cambridge Concord and the TBS Westminster. I wish the Westminster was more premium on better paper but it's features make up for it :) Always looking to check out other recommendations.

Hmmm I just paid over $100.00 for my genuine leather ESV Bible. I have watched and watched RU-vid videos about the ESV and only after getting it I hear about differences. 😟.

@13:50 The flock is one thing... The problem is these "Modern" translations deceive LEADERSHIP!! An associate pastor at my church was preaching from the TNIV (I call it NIV 2011) And she asked people to read some of her scriptures. People in the pews mostly had original NIV (I call it NIV 1984) And what they read did not match with her Bible, and did not make her points! But she kept with her "MY NIV" attitude... It's really hard to deal with leaders who embrace modern translations! I think the answer to the Bible translation controversy is this: 2 Cor 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. IMHO

Hope to 6a review of the 2020 Holman Christian study bible I have recently left the non-denominational Church that I use to belong to for 12 years and the former Pastor was KJV and the current pastor is a modern English bible user and the other thing I noticed was how the prayer team would force you to be in a frinzy to get you to speak in tounges and there music does not mention Jesus or the blood of Jesus I went back to the Baptist church that I had attended in my late 30s I grew up in the church of god in Christ my grandma in life attend therand so did my mom my Dad grew up Baptist. I recently went back to the kjver sword study bible but will be back to the KJV translation would like a video on your view of dual faith parents

Preacher, have you noticed the occult marks on some of these "new and improved" versions??? The expensive leather version of the ESV has a carved "Celtic Cross" on the cover. Yep, same one on Nazi war planes in WW2 and the same one the SS officers wore on their uniform. Known as the Nazi Iron Cross. Now why would you put that on a Bible? But the clear winner is the NKJV!!! That entwined trident on the front has a note that says it's for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. But if you Google it you find it is an occult symbol of 3 entwined 6s. Sorry, but I am having a bit of trouble understanding why anyone would buy a Bible with 666 stamped on the cover ;)

I’d be the one to say I am King James preferred I’d much rather use the king James over ESV but there are somethings in the ESV that reflect the Greek and Hebrew texts better an example would be Jude 25 or John 14:18 or Colossians 2:9 (most people don’t know what the word “Godhead” means so Deity would fit better but I’d rather people be more Biblically knowledgeable than just English Standard version knowledgeable or King James knowledgeable like I said I’d rather go to the King James but if I would point anyone anywhere else it would be the ESV I’d rather you read the Word of God than to read something like NIV lol just my 2 cents before I watch the video

I don't understand how someone can claim that a Bible that censors God's name thousands of time is the standard. Really think about that. God authored the Bible through men and recorded his name thousands of times and at some point the copyists decided that name shouldn't be there. The thing that really gets me is putting Lord in all caps. That is the translators communicating that God's name is supposed to be in that spot, they were aware that it was supposed to be there, and they made the choice to leave it out. That's just incredible. It's inexcusable. It was inexcusable to take it out in the first place and it's inexcusable to leave it out. That's the name of your God! I just don't understand that. What really gets me is that when you remove God's name like that then Baal is the most named god in the Bible. How does that square with Jeremiah 23:27? This is a HUGE deficiency of the King James and nobody who claims the KJV is perfect cares.

Acts 3:26 is my litmus test for counterfeit Bibles ...God raised his Son...not servant. Son found in Geneva, Great, majority text Bibles. Westcott and Hort Based Bibles have thousands of changes. Psalm 12....as silver refined 7 times over.

My 2016 ESV has "in the name of the Lord!" included in Mark 11:9. Does an older ESV version completely lack "in the name of the Lord"? Also, from the 2016 ESV: Matthew 4:4, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God."

I read the NIV and i have never needed to read kjv to understand who and what god is and what he wants. The bible teaches you at its core to be a selfless person, to worship god and to try to live a sinless life and if you sin repent. All the English translations for the most part do just that unless we talking about the one the Jehova witnesses use in which case avoid that one lol. But it's really down to preference cause I'm not reading a version that doesn't speak the English that I speak cause kjv is extremely old and most modern Christians do not talk like that

Matthew 16:24 ESV: "Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." IT IS IN THE ESV! This has nothing to do with "modern" Christianity. Some scribe inserted taking up the cross into Mark 10:21.

Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father.” And so were the Bible Translators of the KJV and the Geneva Bible. The Jesuits, in the early nineteenth century hit upon the idea of promoting to Protestants a mediaeval forgery that appeared to be an ancient copy of the Scriptures in their library (Codex Vaticanus). This was full of errors and thus little regarded, but differed so much from the Textus Receptus upon which Protestant Bibles were based that, if accepted by Protestants as authoritative, it would throw confidence in the Scriptures (outside Rome’s direct control) into confusion. To this enterprise the famous German Lutheran scholar and specialist in ancient uncial manuscripts, Constantine Tischendorf, was enlisted, as was also the brilliant Greek calligrapher,and dealer in manuscripts, Constantine Simonides. Tischendorf was invited for an audience with the Pope and became a tool of the Jesuits, eventually finding an uncial codex at St Catherine’s monastery in Sinai, which he would identify as a fourth century manuscript with similarities to Codex Vaticanus. Yet in reality Tischendorf knew that Codex Sinaiticus had recently been produced by Simonides in the old style of uncial writing. 1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. Protestants today are largely unaware of their own history, and unaware of the Geneva Bible (which is textually 95% the same as the King James Version, but 50 years older than the King James Version, ( Without the Roman Catholic influences of the New Testament that the King James translators admittedly took into consideration). Nevertheless, the King James Bible turned out to be an excellent and accurate translation, and it became the most printed book in the history of the world, and the only book with one billion copies in print. In fact, for over 250 years.until the appearance of the English Revised Version of 1881-1885...the King James Version reigned without much of a rival. The NKJV is well readable for everyone understanding English. Our Lord gave us an perfect translation with the Geneva Bible and KJV. If God gave it us, we don’t need this confusion of “Modern translations” based on a fraudulent manuscript. In 1973, the New International Version (N.I.V.) was produced, which was offered as a “dynamic equivalent” translation into modern English. The N.I.V. was designed not for “word-for-word” accuracy, This is where the confusion started. With the many versions of the Bible it has lost credibility. Special it is mocked by unbelievers. James White is to blame for a large portion of it. Sinaiticus is one of the two main manuscripts which forms the basis of all modern versions of the Bible, the other main manuscript being Vaticanus. This means that the modern versions are misleading and ill inspired. After Our Lord gave us the Translation of the Bible in the common linguist there was no need for an other translation. The NKJV is a revision. Only changing some4 words and some Grammar no longer in use. Sinaiticus is used by every modern translation as one of their "oldest and best" manuscripts. NOW IT IS NO LONGER OLD AND BEST BUT A FORGERY FROM THE NINETEENTH CENTURY. The evidence is irrefutable. If you use a modern version, then you are relying on this nineteenth century counterfeit as your Bible. Disputed verses are for example 9 to 20 in Mark 16 The Last Twelve Verses of Mark's Gospel- James White and other Theologians claim that the last twelve verses of Mark 16 are not integral part of his Gospel. They are omitted by T [A]; not by the Syriac Appendix 94. V. Ii. www.therain.org/appendixes/app168.html JAMES WHITE AND OTHERS who would not preach from Mark 16: 9 - 20 have their hair on fire, because his favourite occult bible version ‘Sinaiticus’ is being revealed as a modern day hoax. The older translations of the Bible are The Geneva Bible and the KJV The differences between the Geneva Bible and the 1611 King James Version of the Bible are apparent. The King James Version of the Bible eliminated the marginal notes THAT HAD BEEN A POPULAR FEATURE FOR THOSE WHO USED THEM AS A STUDY GUIDE 1611 King James Version of the Bible was compiled from previous English translations and the Geneva Bible.
