The Vanessa Hudgens Extended Universe: Every movie with Vanessa Hudgens in it is just one more look alike from the baking movie. They'll all meet in an epic crossover movie and thus 'Vanessa Hudgens: Infinity War' was born.
The only problem is that in this movie she is the granddaughter of the baker from the other movie (they say that when making the Christmas tree, I think)
Leonie Tia lol making her a history teacher would be good foreshadowing or at least help the movie have more substance, things we know Netflix originals suck at!
Tbh a lot of times these movies aren't technically "cheap" especially if you think of what Vanessa probably gets paid as the main draw, but they just choose a cheaper appearing shooting style and script
Grace Alice I’m so sorry pre-teen movies made it seem like Cole is some modern day American name, but Cole is such an incredibly old English name 💀 I have an ancestor named Cole lmao.
@@elizabethblack2674 even earlier than Shakespeare. 1300s is Middle English which is like the English you would see in the original works of Chaucer. Shakespeare used Early Modern English which is considered almost identical to Modern English. Also as a knight his main language was probably Anglo-Norman French.
Strawberry Queen well the short life spans can mostly be attributed to lack of modern medicine, harsher conditions and poorer living circumstances, so just coming to the future would probably stretch it out quite a bit.
You know those channels that you always see commenting? I'm about to join your club! I just got my first five, "I see you everywhere! 😏😃😨😤🤔😮😂♥️" replies.
That’s what I was saying she’s got a nice house, nice car, nice clothes and a guest house all on a teachers salary? Talk about stretching reality... that’s the least believable thing about the movie of a time traveling Knight... lol
Realistically (and as a science teacher, she should know this), his immune system wouldn’t be adapted to all of the bacteria that we’ve adapted to in modern times. He’d probably catch a cold and die within days of coming to the future. Sooo my theory is: They live happily ever after for 3 days max before he dies. She realizes that as a science teacher, she shouldve known that was coming. She gets depressed, quits her job, and takes some time to grieve. She pulls herself together, but never fully, and becomes a baker while still looking out for that feeling of love she developed so quickly with Cole. She meets a prince and a princess. Her life changes once again. And here we are.
She would later also die because modern day humans would have no immunity against diseases from the distant past (since those diseases are considered extinct), which she would contracted from Cole. She quickly infected others, causing a new pandemic of a super plague which hadn’t been encountered for the last 500+ years. And now everyone is dead.
@@scientificninja7622 I thought of that while writing the comment but I think it still counts because he said he wanted to adopt her in the end so yeah XD.
“Why can give him like historical insights and then he can go back in time with her and they can take over the country or something” Because that already exists. You are almost describing Outlander.
He also would've had bad hygiene, if this movie was more historically accurate (which I admit would make him less attractive but still)... and he also would've freaked out at the modern technology and thought everyone was magical when they operated it. Even simple things, like clothing would've looked weird to him. He actually would've believed a lot of things that sound silly today, that were common beliefs back in his time due to ignorance. I also would've liked to see him throw the guy who picked him up into the tree, like Dylan said. That would've been hilarious, for some odd reason. By the way, this movie looks terrible and I feel like I've seen the whole thing by watching this review even though I've never watched it before. But, at least the review is funny.
That would be funny. Just a random point of clarification (because this is my nerd jam) being from 1334 he would be speaking Middle English. Think more Chaucer and less Beowulf.
Oh man if she was a history teacher and was just like MEGA impressed with the accuracy of his "costume" and his knowledge of the 1300s and that was like a weird romance bonus, that could be kinda funny.
Lol Knights in real life scenarios would be calmer. They also would know stuff like that. A science teacher might know everything about a cows anatomy, but a Knight would know just enough information to be of use if something went wrong
As a Minnesotan- it is ingrained in my mind what to do when trapped on thin ice. I don’t think I know a person who doesn’t know what that you’re supposed to lay down and spread out as much as possible. It’s not some secret ancient knight survival knowledge
@@hadassah6563 "knights in real life scenarios would be calmer" ok, that's a ridiculous assumption. most people nowadays know what to do when on thin ice, and a 14th century knight wouldn't. you don't have to be a science teacher. I mean, I live in California and even I know that.
@@mischr13 well, maybe I missed the idea. I live in australia, so I never have to deal with ice like that. But it's true. Any knight who did stand up to help a little girl in trouble would be shamed. He would probs have never made it that far, anyway.
Ahha thanks for bringing that up ,I'm learning English and didn't really understand why she said "circle" out of nowhere during conversation, and I started to look that up thinking to myself maybe there's another meaning of that word I didn't get to know yet
Lenblake20 he wasn’t gonna stop doing commentaries entirely he was just gonna stop doing them on sundays because movie commentary Monday’s should always be held on sundays🤣🤣
Right? There are so many wonderful "travelogues" and pseudo-anthropological documentations of "foreign" cultures, written in olden times. I want to see a comedy, where a person from another era travels to modern times, and immediately demands parchment and writing implements because "His lordship would be so intrigued and amused by a full report of the strange customs of this exotic land!"
A woman having rigths would not really be a problem, a peasent women would! Peasent men also din't have many rigths, the nobles had many and him as a knigth should question why peasents have so many rigths and what kind of King they have that allow this...He probably would think "You have a Queen rigth? Thats why you have some many bs in your country, women and they fragil hearts"
"Why isnt she a history teacher, like, she, could give him historical insight and then go back in time with her and take over the country.. or something. " Outlander my dude that's basically all of Outlander.
Dylan: "Why is she not a history teacher?" Me: "Yes! Because then it would make more sense for her to fall in love with a guy who acts like a medieval knight." Dylan: "Because then she could give him historical insights, and they could go back in time and take over the country!" Me: "..."
the fact that the movie really thought a man from 1334 would be totally accepting of women and 100% up to date with feminism in 2019 is burning my last 2 braincells... there's no fucking way
“Sir cole” probably would have spoken french as the English nobles spoke french during the 14th century up until the reign of Richard 2nd who came after Edward 3rd who he mentions he was “knighted” by
No they can't be because the Princess Switch isn't in the same universe as A Christmas Prince, but this one is. They also don't use magic at all in the Princess Switch, so you can tell they're different worlds. There actually is a great universe here and A Christmas Calendar is also in this Knight before Christmas universe because they share the same Christmas fair setting.
Imagine if they cut out the parts of him traveling back in time but he was actually crazy and he knew about history due to him being a history teacher and no one gets a happy ending because he goes to jail
that knight sure has no manners whatsoever. completely fine damaging a lady's reputation by staying with her without chaperone, doesn't keep proper distance, GOING IN FOR A KISS???? who raised this lad?? seedy bar patrons?????
That’s what I was thinking the entire time. I feel like he would be floored with how people dress now. And how was he barely phased with so much of technology. Why did he stay with her, when it was just them. It makes no sense 😭
Even better than a history teacher, they should’ve made her a Special needs teacher - so her playing along with his ‘delusions’ would make total sense in the film It would make an interesting internal conflict of trying to get this ‘crazy’ man help while also falling for him. The scene where he has to leave would be even more heartbreaking because it would be a moment of literal and metaphorical loss (him going fully mad). Only to find out at the end that he was never crazy at all..And then they live happily ever after.
@@jlshadday6401 Or Heirs. But yeah, boys over flowers for even bigger full on Dylan freak out rant about the hairstyle and the fur-coats and that damn violin. It'd be perfect if he'd then react to Extraordinary You and their Boys over Flowers roasting and then be overwhelmed by the plot twists and dark turn the plot took.
Omg I never knew I needed him to watch Boys over Flowers until this second.... and now I don’t want anything more 😂😂😂 imagine him reacting to the girls at school seeing “The Four” walk around school like celebrities lmfao 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just had a thought. The knight came from a time before vaccinations... so he's either bringing the plague with him or is gonna die in month after catching a cold.
This video reminds me of Dylan watching movies "until he hates himself" and he never ended up hating himself because he loved every single one of those cheesy romantic comedies
Laura Merétei and they would’ve assumed he was homeless by the way he smelled, lacking a shower, probably would’ve found crabs and/or the clap (probably some level of dehydration, malnutrition, his liver not being in great condition from so much regular alcohol intake, and OF COURSE diarrhea) and sent him on his way to a homeless shelter. Thats the REAL way the world would’ve treated him lol but “Brooke” still gets to go home after running into a homeless alcoholic, and goes back to her HUGE HOME THAT HAS A GUEST HOUSE... from a teachers salarie! ... and eventually we find out she has a totally legit side job 😒😏
Im wheezing she said "I believe in you cole" and he was like never have those four little words touched my heart and i sat there counting my fingers and going thats five words not four 💀😳
Noelle Fritz my point was that Netflix was invented long after the 1500s therefore people have found other forms of entertainment since then. I don’t care that you chase geese. I’m proud
Shirley Tatha I was born in 96 I had no idea. It became popular in the beginning of the decade when streaming was available. I don’t know. That wasn’t my point
