The Last Guardian - Native 4K up to 60FPS on PlayStation 5! 

The title should say, modded ps5 no just ps5, clickbait title makes it seem like it runs on normal ps5

It's kind of frustrating to see these videos that show it's totally possible and not that hard to release patches for these older PS4 games to run at 4k60 on a PS5, but the developers just won't do it so 99% of us will never be able to have this experience. 🤦‍♂

I hope sony gives us 60 fps 4k update for this game.this game deserves it

We had a lot of cool games within the first 3 years of PS4.

This, Shadow of the Colossus, and Blooborne are _the_ games stuck running really sub-optimally on PS4. A patch update for the PS5 Pro launch would be an incredible way to preserve the game… It was such a shame that-to run through PS5 back compat-the unlocked frame rate was never compatible with the later patches and HDR support :(

I did it at the release on PS4 pro👍. If one day Sony publishes a PS5 patch, I would do it again with pleasure. A truly unique game that I have waited for almost 10 years. I remember that it was announced for PS3 and that ultimately, they couldn't translate their vision to that system so they had to wait for the PS4 to realize it. For years, we thought it was canceled until the famous E3 2015 where we were delighted to see this game again with a release window.

I'm really hoping for a PC port from the fumito ueda games sometime especially once he releases his new title in collaboration with Epic Games Publishing Program on his first it's multi-platform game.

I'd love for a groundswell of enthusiasm around this to encourage Sony to release an official patch, given how simplistic the implementation of a framecap reportedly was. I've struggled my way through the v1.0 version of the game on a PS5, updating and subsequently deleting the software each time I came up against a game breaking bug, and the smoother framerate really is a massive benefit to the game. Trico feels so much more alive with smoother animation, and the 30fps limit was never an artistic decision on the developer's part, but a technical workaround. If this gets a concerning number of people hacking their PS5s, Sony may feel forced to provide a better solution.

These kind of videos remind me of DF from a number of years ago. 3 - 4 min of "explanation" followed by 10 - 15 minutes of gameplay

This game was life changing for me and a ton of other people who've played it. People do have issues with it. It's the type of game you have to be patient with and really want to see it through no matter what as it doesn't hold your hand and is very animation and physics based and also don't have invisible tricks to make the platforming easy like most games, but it's an experience that is impossible to forget. It impacted me so much more than any other game I've ever played, including it's sequel (or prequel) Shadow of the Colossus which is also in my top 5 games ever Like you ever play a game that you loved so much, that you couldn't stop comparing everything you played afterwards to it? That's what happened to me with this game. It's the only game that is better than DOOM Eternal

I just got this game physically. Is it worth investing my precious time playing it on the PS5? I'm a bit of a completionist so I'd be interested in getting the platinum.

I wish Sony starts doing this for some games such as this one and enable it as an option in settings. We don't need this in all games as people are mostly interested in legendary games that are stuck with PS4 limitations.

What’s with the modding videos all of a sudden? Technically it’s true that the game runs in higher framerates at launch, but still.

If Sony does not re-release the game ON FREAKING DISK with the patches and PS5 support, they are a bunch of phonies.

I replayed last guardian about 6 months ago on ps5. It was a massive improvement to the ps4 experience, but unfortunately the game would crash at certain cutscenes so it had to be re-installed without the update each time to get passed the cutscene 😢

You guys need to stop doing those clickbaits. Make it clear that is a modded version or else will start loosing subs

Clickbait is good. The real question should be, why Sony hasn’t gave us these options. It really shows the performance of Ps5 can run circles around PC’s. It’s always about optimization of that engine for that hardware. Now much do you have to spend just to get 1800 or 4K 60 FPS on a game like this?

Modded PS5 which probably 99% of us don’t have !!! So what’s the point ? You did the same type of video with RD2 a few days ago and with Driveclub. Iv been watching your Channel since day 1 and to be fair this is the first time Iv ever been negative / critical towards your channel and it feels a bit weird 😮

I played this on my SSDed Pro when the game originally released.

I played few hours of this game on my ps4 when it launched. I loved it. Broke my heart that it won’t go past a particular point in the game when the frames drop so low that I can’t complete an underwater puzzle. Would love to see its remaster version
