I never expected her and Aiden to last. They never do ! And there's been an uneasiness about the relationship the whole time. Loved seeing Samantha!!!! I was glad Miranda and Steve are ok again. Charlotte hungover putting Harry in his place cracked me up lol

Aidan pulled an okie doke on Carrie. We know good an well that Aidan has a history of testing and pressuring Carrie to do what he wants. He knew by refusing to spend time at her place that she would have to move or spend crazy money for a love nest every time he came to town. She gave in and did “everything” he said he wanted. He knew he had kids and an ex that was not very hands on. Then he leaves her and was like just wait 5 years for me. I’ll be back when you start collecting your social security checks! Aidan is the villan this season.

Nicole Ari Parker so beautiful and ALL HER clothes were gorgeous and colorful ❤️. She is timeless

I knew Wyatt was going to be an issue by the way he called Aiden in the previous episode

The best part of the episode is toussaint and nyla their chemistry leaps off the screen

Kim said on The View the HEAD of HBO reached out to her and asked “what’s her price?” So yes she got PAID for that cameo and they accepted her demands.

I expected it to end that way. The outfits were 🔥. Really hope Samantha returns

Loved the show and the superb acting. One of my favorite scenes was the spooning between LTW and her husband. It was everything to me! No words necessary. I don’t need Samantha on the show. As a parent, I get what Aiden is trying to do, but it’s guilt based and not in the child’s best interest to put his life on hold. If I were Carrie, I wouldn’t actively seek someone new but I also wouldn’t wait until his son matures. That may be longer than 5 years tbh.

I honestly couldn’t wait for your review of this last Ep. It was an interesting ending. I hope Carrie doesn’t waste her time waiting on aiden. He got his final payback to be honest. Let’s say she tells him she’ll wait and cheats. In his eyes he’ll have yet another reason to throw it in her face as always. Who can honestly wait 5 years. Life is so short enough

This season was much, much better!!! I straight up cried this episode. It was so good and I really hope Sam Jones comes back. Samantha looked so good.

I thoroughly loved the glamour/decor in this episode, which I felt like we haven’t seen much of, as in the original. I actually enjoyed Season 2 more than Season 1. The Samantha cameo was fab. It makes me sad to know there was ever any animosity behind the scenes. It ruins the illusion of them all really being the best of friends. I am enjoying the chemistry with the new cast. Also, I truly hope Carrie and Aidan will finally get their happily ever after… 💖🗽🌃

When Aiden said FIVE YEARS, I was flabbergasted. I thought surely he was joking. Boy said it with a straight face though then followed up with that half snap 😅😅😅😅. Byeeeeeeee Aiden.

I thoroughly enjoyed this 2nd season. The writers found their groove, and the new characters feel more authentic. I'm so glad we're getting a season 3! I was a die hard SATC fan, and bought all seasons of the DVD sets when the show went off the air. It's a trip watching the characters again over 20 years later. It's been really enjoyable 😊

I feel the hate on some shows become more of a trend. I think this season was good and I enjoyed it and used to look forward for each new episode. I want more.

Re: waiting for Aiden, at 55 we women find we don't have to have a man or a daily relationship to be happy. She can choose to wait until a time when she is done waiting. I love being older and able to do whatever I damn please 😊

As a newly married step momma, it is VERY difficult to not feel like second with the previous wife and trying to be the best next mom. 😢 I see Carrier's struggle. It is so heartbreaking. It's hard for others to understand when you don't have children before. It doesn't mean you don't love your husband's child or children. One just needs to understand that they will always come first.

I love your energy when you review this show. I enjoyed season 2 better. In part I think that was due to season 1 revolving around Big's death. The season occurred as we were coming out of the worse of the pandemic. Dealing with real death during the pandemic made the season dark for me. I love how the show has women over 50 beautiful, fashionable and sexy. People complained the inclusivity felt forced season 1. First I appreciate the shows' creators addressing the need for diversity. Secondly now that we have completed season 2 the characters are intertwined and it feels very natural.

If Che comes back, the writers need to hire a comedy writer for Che’s stand up.

Great season, if they keep it up, I can see 5 seasons too. Superb acting, everything seemed so REAL. 5 years of having a clear understanding of where the relationship is going and continued honest communication, I believe can work. He was open and honest that he has to raise his kids.

Excellent episode! I am here for season 3! Yes, Kempire...I am all about leaving the past in the past but the Steve and Miranda scene was amazing. I could feel this in my soul! I love Steve.

In the phone calls with Aidan, wasn't Wyett complaining about issues with his mom & that's why he wanted to not stay with her & be at the farm? Sure he misses dad too but it seems like the root cause was unresolved tensions/issues b/w Wyett and Mom. If I was Aidan, I would take a pause for a month or two until you get things figured out (family counseling). And maybe if Wyett finds Mom unbearable, he moves up for the summer to New York to stay with Aidan & Carrie (hangs out with the kids of the other girls ... country boy experiencing city life & it's culture shocks). Plus, Wyett has 2 older brothers ... he can't connect & confide in them as well?

Hey Kempire! You are spot on 100% The AJLT diversity was much needed in this series. Great job on diversity! These diverse characters really had a place in this series. How do you make a series about 4 women...professional, successful women living in NY and they not have a diverse circle of friends? Of course they needed the new diverse characters...if that means no Samantha...oh well. Yes, she is missed but life finds a way, and this series has NEW LIFE with new fans. Love Charlotte, after seeing her growth with Lisa, it has made her a truly rich character. When Charlotte spit out all the names of Black artists in front of Lisa's MIL, I believed that because Charlotte is supposed to be a former and now current gallerina. If she didn't know one Black artist after working in an art gallery all those years, she would've looked extremely privileged...uneducated and ignorant. But because the writers consulted with African American writers for AJLT, the friendship with Lisa seems believable. Lisa wouldn't have an uneducated friend. Anthony and G surprised me with how beautifully worded their lines were. It expressed intimacy and how people need to be open to new love. Anthony was so closed off to love because of his hurtful past, but G was extremely patient, loving and yoy could feel that whether you are straight or not. Love is palpable, patient and kind. I felt that with those two in their intimate scenein the music montage...Golden Hour. Same can be said for LTW and Herbert. Bathroom scene with lost baby conversation...heartbreaking. Left me wondering if they will adapt due to LTWs guilty feelings. Plus, Herbert...so loving and held her like a baby all night...loved the intimacy. Loved the Nya and other AA Columbia professor celebrating their achievements. So many times we as African Americans are pinned against one another for the top spot. So unfair. Yet, we got two AA professors celebrating their greatness...well deserved greatness. Thank you, it was truly a God-wink to the Black professionals who just want to be celebrated amongst people who understand the struggle of being the only one admitted due to tokenism in our society. No more says AJLT...WE SEE YOU.😊 Miranda tying up loose ends with ex lovers much needed. Steve is truly smart and needed to hear that from Miranda...Brady came to fruition because Steve gave Miranda true balance that was needed at that time. I told you Wyatt was a twapy teenager! Uggg it killed me to see that spoiled as nd bratty behavior wins again. But, Aiden being a sweet person, he knows how to beca good Dad. Carrie understands that. Nya and Award-winning chef...YES👍 GREAT CHOICE. Love those two actors together...screams chemistry. Charlotte speech was EVERYTHING AND MORE. Harry is so sweet and needed to see his wife thrive and evolve in life and love. Writers did a great job, more diversity is always a WIN.

All season long, I’d been hoping Shazza from A Different World(iykyk😁) would find his way back to Nya. They look so good together. Much better than Andre Rashad. This season was better than last season. I liked the storylines & directions of the characters. The two stories or characters or parts of the show I can do without is Che & the children. I’m sorry but I don’t think Che is funny & the kids are to obnoxious for me.

Give Aidan five years? Hell no. Give him time is reasonable. What do the writers think will happen when Wyatt is out of his teens? He'll magically transform into a self-sufficient, independent person? Not likely. Absolutely, Wyatt needs Aidan's full attention at this time and for the next year or so. But five years seems ludicrous.

Later on crew here. Watching from Australia. It’s damn cold here (but it is winter, soooo). Samantha’s cameo, LTW’s grief, and Miranda’s professional glory all made this episode for me. Im grateful for Aidens five year thing. Because I think he needs to go away now and stay away so that wraps it up perfectly. Now Carrie can live her best Home and Garden life in that fabulous new apartment.

They could've just cut that for real, because the reason for the call, and even her coming in town for less than a day, and canceling the trip all together, was stupid. I love season 2 and I love love the final episode. Season 1 had a very rocky start I hated it after episode 1 and 2 especially but it really improved in my opinion. I’m so glad there will be a season 3. I didn’t miss Samantha really and now that I know the bitterness that Kim Cattral has for the others on the show I hope she doesn’t return. Her character was fun and had a lot of growth with Smith but, sadly, the writing of the second movie let her character down in my opinion. I don’t blame her for being leery but I feel that her outspoken public bitterness makes her far less appealing to me. Not very classy.

Why not got to Egypt? Girl Please….you are over 50 and are finally in love…go to Egypt and leave when you get enough of your man then go back to New York. The same wit Carrie…go to Virginia and stalk Aiden….become the mother you never had a chance to become. The child’s issue is not with Carrie. It’s his mother. Carrie is at home everyday she is rich and has all of Biggs money.
