Happy 30th anniversary to the Disney classic that was the first movie I ever saw in theaters. Still the GOAT for both Disney and animated movies in general, for me anyway. Funny how thanks to the Lion King I was already a fan of James Earl Jones years before I became a Star Wars fan, cuz I didn't get into the OG trilogy until around the time that Episode 1 was released. He's easily one of the best celebrity voice actors there have been. Long live the king indeed.

I love "The Lion King". I love the voice of James Earl Jones as Mufasa. If anyone has a more royal, authoritative voice it would be him. Fantastic choice! It made me mad when his character died but, that's the way it went. Still a great movie. "He was directly chosen by the filmmakers, " They knew.
