The pepper over there sounds almost as good as Worch... Wusteruster... Worr~sesster~shire... Uh... Lea and Perrins Sauce! "IYKYK!" 😉😁 Delighted to see yourself and "the Aul' Wan" enjoyed yourselves in Portugal. It's not a bit like Waterville, mind you. I'd say the food must have only been 'tolerable', after becoming accustomed to "The Honest Fisherman's Takeaway..!"
Wow I'm amazed that your comment was so short. LOL. You are very very funny I have to say anybody reading this will not understand except my wife Hilda she will enjoy reading this. I read this in bed and will be going to sleep laughing. Thanks dmp the very very funny comment one of the best I've ever received. Cheers. Plus thanks for it being so short that was a bonus. Short but very very very sweet. Cheers. Hope life is treating yet very well my friend.
Hi Pat hope you got a few salmon this year. Hope to get away one last weekend away before end of season figures crossed. Thanks for watching and commenting Pat cheers.
Fabulous Vincent , was in Lagos some years ago fabulous place. Traveled on the train from Lagos to Portimao and got to see the loco. The Algarve is beautiful.👍
Great to hear from you Tommy hope your enjoying your retirement and having lots of fun. Your missed in the station. All the revenue protection miss you and I'm not just saying that I miss you you were great to work with the lads are always saying if Tommy was the driver he would have driven on and such a thing if Tommy was the driver he would have locked the doors and so on. Best of luck in your future what ever your doing.
When I'm with my wife it's always great. She's my best friend. Not my imaginary friend but a real friend. LOL. Thanks dmp watching and for all the great music i received from your channel. Cheers.
A Vince you guys were in Lagos in Portugal, I'm across the border in España...close to Gibraltar on the western end of the Costa del Sol. Haven't been to Portugal yet, but a fun video as usual with great guitar tunes. Golden slumber sunsets, I just love them.
Hi my friend. So close and yet so far away. Thanks for the compliments on my guitar playing glad you enjoyed my music . I try to pick and blend in the music into the videos at best I can. Hope life is treating you well and your happy. Cheers. Thanks for watching and commenting.
You know it's a great start to the weekend when The Mad Fisherman shows up Friday afternoon in your playlist :) I honestly don't think anyone could be enjoying life more than you Vincent! Reminds me it's time to log off work for the weekend and take the wife to a nice dinner and good whiskey.
How does one get to be in your baggage! That was one fine holiday there, sorry you couldn’t get a good Irish breakfast though! But the rest of that trip certainly looked relaxing! Thanks for taking me along! Lol
Just cane across ur channel today an have been binge watching your videos the past 4 hrs , absolutely brilliant, tight lines , Dan from uo north in Derry 🎣
Thanks so much Dan I'm glad your enjoying my videos glad you came across them really glad. I enjoy making the videos and with somebody enjoying them I'm so happy. 😊 thanks really you've made my day.
That's bizarre. At work and me and the missus talking about holidays and first place mentioned was Portugal! Great place Lagos. I've been there loads when I was a kid. I always remember a huge shoal of Mullet in the marina and wishing I had my fishing rod! I remember loads of shoe shops too, which would keep your Hilda happy! There's a village called Burgeau nearby and there was a place called the Brown Hut. It sold the nicest fish soup in the world. I often talk about returning and seeing if I can find it. The food is gorgeous over there. People too. Isn't it strange when you're on an airplane, the world looks so relaxed and calm. There's always a certain excitement too, coming back home. Great video. Brought back some good memories. That beer in that restaurant looked gorgeous by the way. Super Bok. Great beer!
HI my friend. Great to hear from you again. Hope you caught your salmon with the rain. Its nice shooting a bit of footage and putting it together by the pool with my earphones in. Plus it's a memory for me of my holidays too. Cheers salmon ninja. Hope you get a big salmon before end of season. Bye for now.
Thanks a million Mark cheers. Glad you left such a nice comment. Comments like yours makes it all worth the effort making the videos and practising the guitar. So thanks a million. Cheers. Glad you enjoyed.
@@Vincentdonnelly5158 You are a gifted entertainer, like so many of your people. The Irish have always had a disproportionately high number of great writers, musicians, and artistic people, it is admirable. You are always so relaxed it's easy to forget all the work it must take to produce your videos. For the chest my friend, for the chest!
I was hoping you might have had a stint of Euro-nymphing for some of those Portuguese trout! Looks like a very welcome break in the warm weather with very hospitable people. I noted your beeline for the Jamiesons. Those green Isles of Ireland certainly look magical when you return home. Regards from down-under in NZ.
Hi John thanks for the great comment. It's nice just to get a break away from the hassles of work and spend some time with my best friend my wife. Cheers. Thanks dmp watching and of course watching.
Dead right. The quieter the better. Don't like crowds at all. Get claustrophobic. Yet i work on jammed trains all day. Its a tough life. Thanks for watching and commenting stay safe out there.
Hi Vincent, Great to see you having a bit of warmth and sunshine over there in Portugal. You looked well. Pity the sausages weren't up to your standard but never mind that gives you all the more reason to cook up your fry back at the lake. You will probably enjoy it even more. Once the season is over you could still do a bar-b-que at home. I reckon that could be great in the winter with a hot whisky. Stevie in Scotland.
Hi my friend. Hope your keeping very well and not working too hard. I had a ball definitely put on more weight LOL. During the winter I'll get into shape. LOL. Thanks stevie for your always great comment. Cheers. Season's nearly over. Another year gone were does the time go???
Good man Vincent. Glad to see you enjoying yourself - I was wondering why we hadn't seen you for a while and was hoping you hadn't fallen out of the boat in one of the lakes around Waterville. Thankfully not. Looked like a lovely meal - I was sneezing after the pepper top fell off.
When i think of it i didn't even sneeze myself. LOL. Thanks for your great comment cheers. Had a great time but there's no place like home if we just got the weather I'd never leave Ireland ever.
Hi Peter can't remember exactly it was about 3 euro a pint. It depends were you get it. A litre of Jameson was 20 euro that's not to bad. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers.
They tried to hold you at bay Vincent with the Super Bock, starters and deepfreid mozzarella. You eventually got a holt of the carnivores... the beef... why didn't you tell them you tipped the full pepper dispenser over your lovely grub they would have had a plate of chips out in front of you quicker than Chris would have had. Lovely looking PEPPER sauce on the steak. Looked like a great meal, glad to see you gave the waiters a tip.
Ahoy. I hear of the demise of paddy gargan a man of little talent and who im sure got a nice house out of allowing the fish farm in the bay. That killed the waterville fishery.
Hia Vincent love your clip's especially of u cooking am actually not a fisher man but love your way of life I'd be interested in one of your painting much are they going for manythanks
Glad you enjoyed my videos. Cheers. The paintings take months to do so your talking thousands. I was a full time artist but never got the break. Now I'm in the railway for over 20 years. Haven't held a paint brush in my hand in many many years. Just don't have the time. Thanks again.
