Maurice is among the modern VAs with probably the greatest range of impersonations.

Wow!!! He has a excellent body of work. Very talented voice actor. A lot of these excerpts, I remember growing up. Voice actors are so important to the entertainment industry. They're so vital. They bring these characters to life.

This guy does a spot on Vincent Price impression and his role as Vincent Von Doom get's my point across.

Pinky: "Gee Brain what do you want to do tonight?" Brain: "The same thing we do every night Pinky, try to take over the World!"

Kif’s exasperated sigh about Zapp Brannigan is one of life’s most satisfying sounds.

Beyond his comedy skills, I believe he's a much better actor than many people might realize. One unsung moment of his that I love is in the English dub of the Ghibli movie 'Pom Poko' - at the very end when LaMarche, as the narrator says "I'm constantly amazed by humans - it takes a lot of stamina to live the way they do," he sounds totally, heartbreakingly sincere.

I met Maurice in Boston a few years ago! Nice guy; I told him that Egon Spengler was my favorite performance of his and that he did the late Harold Ramis proud! He then suggested that I read Harold’s daughter’s book tributing him!

Oh I love Maurice La Marche!!!!! He's in my top ten favorite voice actors. My favorite role he played would have to be Grumpy from the 7D

It took a few years after his 1981 move to L.A. for LaMarche to establish himself in the American voiceover industry, which he initially pursued as a side endeavor during his full-time standup comedy career. LaMarche began on Wolf Rock TV in 1984, Inspector Gadget in 1985 (season 2), and went on to Popples, Lazer Tag Academy, Dennis the Menace (season 2), Popeye and Son and The Real Ghostbusters (later Slimer! and The Real Ghostbusters) where he played Egon Spengler and its solo spin-off Slimer!. During and after The Real Ghostbusters, LaMarche became a regular mainstay of the voiceover industry, appearing in such shows as Tiny Toon Adventures, Camp Candy (season 2), Gravedale High, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures (season 1), Captain Planet and the Planeteers (later The New Adventures of Captain Planet), G.I. Joe, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: The Animated Series, Tom & Jerry Kids (seasons 2-4), Taz-Mania, Where's Waldo, The Little Mermaid, Batman: The Animated Series, and Bonkers before landing perhaps his most recognized role in 1993 as The Brain on Animaniacs and later its spin-offs shows Pinky and the Brain and Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain. Another one of his earliest roles was the sailor from Rock and Rule.

I knew the man had range and was incredibly talented. I had NO idea he did so many different characters of all types - and is barely recognizable. I met Rob Paulsen at a convention 10 years ago and Maurice is next on my list. He was born in Timmins Ontario and I'm only a few hours away in Sudbury. Need to meet this man in person!

My fav roles of Maurice LaMarche are Father from Codename: Kids Next Door and Mr. Big from Zootopia. He is very comedic. His son Jonathan played for the late Christina Grimmie's band, I forgot what he played tho.
