Oof, that comparison never occurred to me, but it's another example of Ahsoka's hypocrisy. She literally never criticized the Kaminoan cloners or the Jedi's use of the clones. Ugh 🤦‍♀

That is literally the equivalent of trying to paint Anakin as a hero after he killed younglings. It's beyond twisted.

@@imyouralibi6208 yep Filoni is an idiot that breaks his own canon and novels he's a bad writer the sad thing is even in his own show the mandalorian Bo Katan was responsible for losing the dark saber to Moff Gideon and having the home world of mandalore destroyed with Ahsoka being just as morally bankrupt for supporting her as she gives Din Jarin Ahsoka s location after she used him

Yep, and we saw more of the same in his Tales of Jedi series. The most frustrating part is that fans fall for it hook, line, and sinker and help spread this bizarre notion of the Jedi, smh

It does seem like he’s trying to exacerbate their flaws in a way that I don’t believe we’re initially intended in the movies. Some flaws are fine, but it does seem like they are going above and beyond to make them worse beyond basic logic. Granted part of the prequel hate is that characters like Anakin were not fleshed out enough, so that’s part of it. But yeah it does seem like he was pushing the writing far more than necessary. In the case of S7 that’s mostly Disney writing, but the rest was long before any of today’s garbage influenced it.

Yeah, it confuses me too sometimes. TCW fans seem to have a bizarrely twisted memory of this show and the characters in it; they'll recall things that never happened but completely forget about things that did. And because of that, fan perceptions of the characters are so off base.

Well in the case of that episode with Anakin I would think it’s a 2 sided issue. On the one hand yes, Anakin does hold onto people too tightly and that is part of his problem. However, Luminara is indicative of one of the Jedi’s flaws that they were too quick to forgo attachments to the point that they were detached from everyone else. Anakin held onto hope that they were alive and didn’t want to give up on them, whereas Luminara was quick to accept their death. This does seem rather cold and detached to some, and if it was up to her would have resulted in abandoning them. It’s a thin line, but it does mean the difference between life and death. Like how Luke did not give up on Anakin

Apparently George just pitched the ideas. It was Filoni that was in charge of executing those ideas. So TCW is Filoni’s show.

@@bravestraven4650 Thank you so much for that response. Everyone keep saying that George Lucas is the "Creator" of the Clone Wars 2008 series. But something just didn't seem right about that. Anakin never had an apprentice, till they retcon the whole narrative. Anyways, I agree with ya. TCW-08 series is Filoni's show.

@@BlueSniper-nv2tx George is officially credited as the creator of the series, even though, as bravestraven said, he basically just pitched ideas (and also bankrolled the series), something which Filoni himself confirmed. Not to mention, he grew increasingly hands-off as the series progressed. Unfortunately tho, the creation of Ahsoka was George's idea (though again, the final result was clearly Filoni's).
