I finally got my 1980 Puch Maxi running again!!! I'm so hype after a couple years of it being down, I was finally able to get the 70cc kit ripping! This thing is a blast to ride and I can't wait to get better on it, as well as build it further into the ultimate stunt moped!!!

Puch is the most sold moped in Denmark, and is still a big thing here. Even thoug they don't make Puch anymore. I have 3 Puch. A Maxi, Monza and a Grand Prix. And i just love my Puch! The Monza is a 3 gear, and the Grand Prix is with 4 gear. :-)

i love how youre getting so dang stoked about the kind of bike that i ride (not exactly tho i have a gilera citta) tip: swap out the pedals for bmx pegs. Those things are unbreakable and wil protect the bike when you drop it. You would think you wouldnt be able start it but if you do 2 steps and let loose the decompresion it starts immediatly. and you couldt but a piece of hose between the spring and schock end (front and rear) for more ride height thus a stiffer ride and better suspension compresion. A little tip from a dutchman ;)

here in Slovenia we have a big scene of mopeds, Tomoses to specify and the Puch Maxi is basically a Tomos Automatic and Tomos supplied a lot of parts for Puch and other companies. Me and my friends have a bunch of Tomoses and we ride them, tune them and have a bunch of fun even tho they are just 50cc and everyone likes them, old and young people

indeed! i have a newer tomos, called Flexer and even tho it has a limiter at 15 mph so i can legally drive it right now because im 14 at the time it still goes 25mph because i modified it a little bit, soon ill get a license and a tomos automatic which is like your maxi

I live in germany and I see those a lot out here. But my friends all drive Yamaha Aerox and you can tune them esaly up to 70ccm, 80ccm or even 100ccm. They are 50ccm from the factory bsw..
