Minecraft is one of the most touching games to me. Seeing this video reminds me of weekends at my dads house, playing Minecraft for hours on end with him and my sister, getting lost in endless shenanigans and never really getting anything done. 7 years after introducing him to the game, about a year ago, I asked him if he wanted to beat the game with me. We sat down, started up a world, and me, an adult now, sat back down with my dad, and after a couple of weekends, we finally beat it, together. Minecraft is a very, very special game
This is one of the best produced and edited videos of yours yet. I'm glad you found new joy in the content you make, and it shows. You're one of my favorite content creators. I've been following you a long time, and it makes me happy you found your passion again.
I remember how much I played in online servers on mobile in like 8 years ago or something similar, my favorite hobby in the game was to go to creative mode, make a flat server and make statues of everyone else's skin block by block in minecraft without mods, that was a great time.
Minecraft is easily one of the best games for me. Absolute freedom to do what you want and theres so many things to do. Great video skooch!! I'm looking forward to more of your minecraft content
Skooch makes a video about quitting league, trying his best to tell everyone that's not the end, and that we should stick around because he's gonna deliver. Skooch now delivered, and boy oh boy, I'm glad I gave you trust, you deserved it, but now you earned more.
Me and my friends would occasionally come back to this game with a bunch of mods installed - parasitic zombies, guns, and a whole bunch of stuff that optimizes the experience. It's always a blast, because the mods give us new experiences and stories to tell when we want to play again.
All the stuff about having no required direction, and being able to forge your own playthrough is the same reason I love Old School RuneScape. It’s a sandbox mmo with piles of varied content, and none of it is required.
played Factions for years upon years and i genuinely love how everyone else just had a completely different experience with minecraft while i thought i was doing it all. the game is massive and i cant wait for it to be even bigger with the next generation
I remember playing a COD BO Zombies world with my cousins in Minecraft 8 years ago. That's how special Minecraft is, you can do ANYTHING. Complete, Godlike freedom. No other game has done that.
It's been amazing seeing all the new types of videos you've been making! Great job dude! It's been a wild ride since the xbox release all those years ago!
3:45 my first experience was one of utter chaos and confusion. I had watched tons of minecraft stuff before, but playing it for the first time was NOT intuitive. I just punched some trees and left the game open as i tried to figure out crafting. and then...it was night. and the sounds were HORRIFYING and i was stress 100 until some zombies found me and killed me. I ran back over to my stuff, died again, and thought this children's game was clearly too hard for me I picked it back up maybe a month later and put a few hundred hours into it every year now. Good times!
Hey Skooch, just dropping a comment to say you’ve been killing the non-LoL content. I’m loving it and you’re doing fantastic work. I’m glad to hear that you’re doing well and hope that you can stay healthy and happy while putting out banger after banger.
The best way I've ever had Minecraft described to me was comparing it to a box of legos. Minecraft is just adult legos, and I wouldn't ever want it to be anything else.
Minecraft is the eternal game, no matter how many times I get tired of it sometimes I always find myself going back to it after a couple weeks. It truly is the healthy version of league
Grew up playing minecraft. got it for my 7th birthday and now ill be 19 in about a month. there use to not be much but I still can't believe that as I grew....the game grew as well with adding things like the nether, end dimension, redstone...........the most fun I remember having was when the zombie pigmen were first added and mobs would still attack you if you were in creative...so I'd spawn like 50 of those pigmen in and hit one and there'd be a whole army chasing me and I'd just whip out that diamond sword and hack n slash whilst in god mode......felt like an anime XD..........thank you minecraft, for being with me throughout my childhood.❤
Another thing minecraft does really well is it makes you feel powerful. You're not held back by barriers, by a certain path you have to follow. There is no such thing as not being able to unlock a certain area because you don't have a certain item or rune or whatever. You're just able to be a giga chad and fight everyone and everything. The limit is only your creativity and skill. Another part which minecraft does well is it makes you feel isolated but there are a lot of videos that talk about this exact point so I'm not gonna waste anyone's time. So yea, have fun with whatever you're doing I guess
Funny enough we recently just started playing minecraft again and started playing the pixelmon mod on our own server and its been pretty great so far. We used a pre built story map and when u beat the elite 4 you can take a teleporter to the regular open world with our own player built towns. Its been a lot of fun so far. Trying to go around and hunt for specific items pokemon and just legendaries has been great.
As someone who's been playing since the Alpha. This is pretty accurate. Sadly I've been unable to play vanilla for years now. I'm too used to modded. Either way minecraft is a game I've never stopped playing and never probably will.
i started playing in 2013 and its crazy that there are still people getting into it for the first time. this game has had a large impact on the gaming world and even if you dont like the game. you could at least acknowledge that
minecraft is one of the first games that got me seriously into gaming (pokemon being the other one). i find myself going back to it every now and then and just find joy. sometimes i wish i could go back to summer of 2014 and relive the days where i would just play minecraft for hours on end with my friends. its a game that will forever be in my heart and one that will never be uninstalled
My favorite minecraft youtuber described the gameplay loop in minecraft as: explore the world, gather resources, build and shape the world, interact with your builds. I think that perfectly describes the game
Common Skooch banger. I love Minecraft and I love the mods even more, so much that I start a lot of modpacks and never finish them because I get distracted with another one .
i used to always spawn an ultra flat desert world, then walked into one direktion until i found a village or temple. i took the equipment and then waited for night, to fight the zombies. i would also go creative and lock a bunch of skeletons in a room and experiment with poisons on them eventually they would shoot and just go haywire and kill each other.
The most impressive thing someone has made in Minecraft (for me) is Pokemon Red. Like, like the actual game they recreated glitches and everything. Sure they retextured tools at different durability values to make it work, but you can play the actual game in Minecraft, its sick.
9:10 bruh. Minecraft had a hunger games mode, inspired by hunger games (of course), and one year later playerunknown created a mod for dayz (itself a mod of arma) based on the japanese novel battle royale. So you could say the genre started on minecraft, arma, dayz...
Even after a long time away from the game, whatever it is, it'll always give you that feeling like you just first launched the game. Minecraft is really something, and its never-ending love for creativity and just wanting to escape into your own world. Big ups to ya again Skoocher!
I'm gonna miss old skootch content. But yknow what. I really hope this new diversity in content will bring him a fulfilling and successful career. Good luck, skootch.
Remembering all the first worlds I had with my 3 other friends had on cracked minecraft pocket editions and seeing all the complicated modded farms and equipment I do now just makes me feel very nostalgic! Best game that will never be beat
Minecraft is like the Opposite of League of Legends in nearly every way - it's hilarious seeing this game covered by this channel. But awesome at the same time.
I had a farm so big that my friends that doing their own things from far away would notice. As the night would start to come the sun would jump back up. Then one said I have conquered the sun with cows. The more cows there were the longer the days and nights become. It got to the point that the friend with the strongest pc would move at 1 frame per 8 seconds. I could no longer move while my friends with more exceptional laptops and pcs would come from across the lands and have the rigs put to the test as their frames drop trying to kill off some of the cows. In the end, they built a perimeter along the old farm and we called it Chernobyl.
I think you didn't experience many survival sandbox games - so things such as mods & no instructions are actually more common than you think. Though Minecraft is truly special because of how well it does what it does, & because it was one of the first games to do that (I think at least)
Please, do more Minecraft content~ I can't believe how much of a storyteller you are, and I'm looking forward to see what stories you could craft with all that creativity!
Mine craft never hooked me, but I did enjoy my time in atlas with some friends. I don't like crafting aspects, just don't have the imagination. But you can legit send me out for 5 hours to just break rocks and gather 😆 . And then do some pirate shit with the crew.
Stellar video as always Skooch. Never disappoints. I just wasn't able to tell it was you video at first in my subscription feed because the thumbnail's "CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS?" was too small and not easily readable so the thumbnail just kinda blended in with everything else so I missed it a couple times before refocusing my eyes. I'd say it was the same with the last CWTAT thumbnail as well.
minecraft from my experience is the best game to stream its a nice survival and your always looking for something, mining, or building spending that time talking to your community as time flys by literally stream thinking ima do it for 6 hours max look down what feels like 5 minutes and its says 2 hours
