This was my return trip back to Cleveland from Las Vegas. The flight had a layover in Denver (a 6 hour layover to be exact) which made it a long travel day. However, I was able to film A LOT of content. So much so that I almost didn’t have enough memory space to capture it all!
The first leg of the trip was LAS - DEN. You’ll notice that I spent a lot of time filming from our cruising altitude. There aren’t many flights as scenic as this one! We flew from the deserts of Nevada, then over the Grand Canyon, then finally over the Rockies in Colorado. Truly one of the best flights I’ve ever been on!
After that was a 6 hour layover in Denver. When I had bought the tickets, the layover was scheduled for just 55 mins. However, because United wants to fill planes, it canceled my flight and changed us to a much later flight. No worries! I got to spot Denver International Airport from the terminal, which made the 6 hour layover almost seem to quick! Nonetheless, I was happy to board my flight onward to Cleveland when the time finally came.
I wish I could’ve filmed more of the DEN - CLE flight, however with 8 hours of travel behind me, I was understandably pretty tired. Also, the flight path took us over some pretty rural area which made filming difficult. However, I was rewarded with an absolutely fantastic shot of downtown Cleveland on our approach to Hopkins!
