When Garza was talking about playing metal on a jukebox it reminded me of the time about 10-15 years ago when I first encountered one of those digital jukeboxes that can play pretty much any song. I played The Heretic Anthem by Slipknot in one of those open kitchen style diners off the interstate in West Virginia, to this day it cracks me up thinking about the reactions people had. There was a bunch of locals, truckers and elderly people just trying to enjoy some food and then boom, Slipknot graces their ears for probably the first time ever! I will say, there was one dude working the grill that was vibing out to it and mouthing the lyrics. Shout out to that lone metal head cook in WV! 🤣

Last minute, the people putting it on decided to have everyone do three songs instead of one because they didn’t have enough entrants. We considered just doing the same song three times since we were already not taking it seriously

The guys in lit are are definitely pretty cool guys. We opened up for them in our hometown Jacksonville Florida back in the late 90s early 2000s whenever it was and they were probably one of the cooler bands we’ve ever hung out with

Well, my family would always go. LIT was there playing at midnight. I seen LIT play in a literal holler in Kentucky and it was aamzing. I was the only person that knew who they were sadly.
