@@RideAcrossTheRiver then why is it that where I live they have a bounty on rainbow trout and they electro fish the river 10 days every year pulling them out by the thousands. To the point now you only catch a rainbow about one out of 50 fish but you still catch cuttbows probably 6 out of ten fish and of all sizes.. to the point now that they are adding more days of electrofishing just to tatget the cuttbows.. why would they neee to do that if they are sterile if they kept targeting the rainbows and kept the no limit on the cuttbows the numbers would drop in a few years without removing over half of the fish out of the river.. note that over population is not the issue the goal is to preserve the pure genetics of the cutthroat so that tells me they think the cuttbows are spawning…..I also know for a fact biologist can get this wrong because I have a aquarium with a hybrid cichlids that according to every book should be sterile but mine breed like rabbits and not just them so do their babies

My friend used to repel on the North Coast around Fort Bragg to get to hard-to-reach places for Abalone diving this was before they had all these inflatable zodiacs so he always got the biggest thickest Abalone that way he's the one they told me about using chain so people couldn't cut the Rope.

And I'd love to fish in Japan!

Basically yeah, I scour maps a lot and fish a lot. Some creeks are a bust, but most turn out to be good. And Idaho and Utah just have a lot of really great creeks!
