In this video I fish one of the best small mountain streams I've come across and catch some incredibly colorful native Colorado River cutthroat trout.

You have the ability to cast your fly in pinpoint fashion.That bow and arrow cast is very effective.

@tenkaraaddict (or fam) … when you use the “bow and arrow” casting technique are you grasping the fly and drawing back the line or are you grasping a different section of line? If the latter, what stops the hook from whipping upward and sticking in your hand or clothing?

Excellent video. I live in northern Utah and tenkara fish all the time. I’m not sure exactly where this is but I’ve got an idea. I’m doing my cuttslam in 2020 so I’ll be heading that way. Have you done the cuttslam yet?

I have to be careful Tenkara Fishing. Purists hate me Mostly either use God Hands EXA .5g or Daiwa Presso Vega .4g Spoon. Sometimes a Custom Dupree Spoon Fly.
