@ForrestKritzer If I ever do any skydiving I'll be mad as hell till I find out who pushed me.🤣🤣 Keep these vids coming man, they are informative n entertaining 👍👍
Thanks for sharing the tournament Forrest! Always like watching Sean Rash since he is always real and seems like a great guy. Better luck in the next one!
You’re welcome! Sean is a very cool guy and an awesome bowler. We talked about the lane transition all day and played off each others lines most of the day
Hey Forrest! Great vlog of the Hawaii stops. I'm so glad that the family, 220, and you had an awesome time out here. It's unfortunate that 21-22 blew up on you in the last game. Bowl well the rest of the year. Be safe and looking forward to future content with you and 220!
Well, skydiving would activate my fear of heights... as for that last pair, that pair looked like the lane (machine) wasnt saturated running that pair... or that pair of lanes was built on a hillside.
Face your fears! Book skydiving! Funny thing about that pair was a board actually popped out of the lane during qualifying and they were literally standing on the lane hammering it back in. Pretty sure that effected the oil consultancy on that lane
@@ForrestKritzer yikes, assuming no re-oil, yep that did it! I don't even allow open play on a lane I've stepped on when I replaced gutter cappings in the last few weeks. Good luck on your next tourney!
Hey Forrest! It was great seeing you and Brittney at Nationals on Monday! You both are so frendly. Sorry I was fan-boying big time! It was pretty funny that when I saw you, I had just spared my first frame in the second game of team. The moment you left is when i stopped striking. I think i would have had a 290 game if you stayed😂 Anyways thanks for stopping and saying hello to a huge fan! Much luck to you in your future bowling tournaments.
Hey Jonah it was great meeting you too! You were throwing the ball very well so I’m sure you can strike without us watching you lol. It was nice having a conversation with you. Good luck to you on all your future bowling events. 😎
crazy thing is i seen you and you wife at nationals and you were super cool much respect to you bro! actually to both of you two! Im still shocked awesome people in my eyes
That pair was being worked on all day because a board literally popped out of the lane. They were sitting on the lane and hammering it back in for a good amount of time. That’s more than likely the reason
You are looking really good these days Forrest, your timing and release look wonderful. Question about the super dry lanes at the end: Why did you decide to move so far left with the Ruby and loft it rather than staying put and going to a super weak ball you could keep online?
Thank you, that’s very kind. The loft looked very good on the previous pair before that where I had a 250 look. The Ruby was the weakest ball I had with me on that trip. Was only able to bring a limited arsenal because of traveling on airplane. That last pair we ended on was actually getting worked on throughout the tournament because a board literally popped out of the ground. They were hammering it back in during the tournament. Just unlucky to hit that pair in the last game. I believe you’ll see what I’m talking about when Michael posts his vlog because he got video on the hammering on the lanes.
Totally awesome bowling Forrest .. I so much love your style. Your ability to loft the ball like you do is just awesome. I don't know how you pro bowlers do that so well and still hit your marks so well, are able to consistently loft the ball just the amount you want, and all of that. Fantastic to watch. Love watching you guys bowl as I learn so much by doing so. Your skydiving was fun to watch too. Sorry you got stuck on that bad pair of lanes. Hope you and your family had a fantastic vacation in Hawaii though !!! .. Aloha .. and Mahalo for the great videos !! .. (FYI, that pic of Michael near the end .. man, I didn't need to see that! .. trying to get that image out of my head now .. 🤣) .. have a safe trip home !!
@@ForrestKritzer - Thanks Forrest !! .. say "hey" to Michael .. love his stuff too !!! .. I learn a LOT from you guys! .. would love to see some instructional/tips type of videos from you guys too .. take care and safe travels!
Wow, I remember those days. I feel for you man. I never saw you struggle so badly. You couldn’t hit your mark in the left lane. The mental game will kill you sometimes. Come back better next time.
Looks like you were not the only one who struggled with the changing conditions. Do you get a practice time in between pairs or not? What’s it like having a beer with Rash?
Yeah that pair got the best of all of us. No we do not get practice between pairs unfortunately. Basically everyone gets a read of what that lane is doing from the lead off bowler on the pair. Which happened to be me that day lol. Rash is actually a very cool guy. I enjoyed our conversations.
Shake it off man you got this couple bad breaks your mental game is there your consistency is there You just need things to go your way a little more you got this dude
Why is it when you are struggling on a weird pair and you finally make a great shot you leave a solid eight? Bowling can be so frustrating. By the way, great bowling.
Really cool to see bowling from Hawaii, you are very fortunate to have been able to do that with your family and the 220 bowler. Great bowling overall, still don't like that spare ball of yours. I'd find something different, just my opinion. Thanks!
Great bowling. Hawaii looks amazing and is definitely on my bucket list. One question though. Why do PBA players insist on shooting the spare ball at any spare that includes the 3-6 combo of pins, for right handers like yourself? I do not understand that thought process and I see it fail a lot on TV. I can understand shooting at pins across the lane strait down the side they are on due to oil patterns. But it seems to me throwing your strike ball would be a more consistent strategy. Just a thought from a typical house bowler. Keep up the good work Forrest!
Thanks for the support! Honestly it’s just a preference thing. I’ve seen many pros shoot 3-6-10 with strike ball. I personally have just always used my spare ball and usually have a good conversion percentage.
Strike ball at a 3-6-10 has the same problem as hooking at a bucket (right handed 2-4-5-8). Chop city. Backup balls will raise the conversion percentage of a 3-6-10
Forest I know this is kinda obvious after the result, but would help me to know your opinion. Was it not worth to throw a spare ball in this cenario? anyway, wish you better luck next time and I have learned a lot from you thanks!
They weren’t quite dry enough for me to justify throwing my spare ball as my strike ball. I have done that before but not in this situation. The fact that I hit the pocket a few times means there was a way to the pocket. Just had to perfectly execute the shot.
I have watched several times that you start lofting the ball. That's not bad, but then you start exaggerating the loft by getting it higher and higher. I feel that is not good for your shot. I don't think your rotation stays correct for your shot. Keep it low or use a different ball.
Hey hey skydiving !!! You made it look easy. 💯Thanks for the Hawaii videos, very cool. Can't help but notice 220AVG missing a couple weeks now. Is he just taking a break?
