I still can't get over Rhaenys and Meleys. I really do love the way you put it, you did a wonderful describing her soul. It kills me when I see people online saying things like "she couldn't have gotten away" or "Meleys looked at her to blame her for her death." Neither of those things are true. She CHOSE to stay and fight, even though she knew she wouldn't make it out. And Meleys was her ride and die to the very end. Her last glance at Rhaenys as the life left her body was "goodbye." It was beautiful, yet also the saddest thing I've seen in years. I really believe that how one chooses to interpret what they see on screen, it says a lot more about THEM than it does the material in question.
So well stated! I totally agree interpretation does reflect the person! (finger snaps) OH how I would love to watch the series with you! It would be epic!
i dont like how they keep bringing up the prophecy. Every time they do, it reminds me of how poorly GoT finished that storyline after building it up for several seasons.
I believe Rheynera was going to send herself to Rook's Rest because she didn't want to send anyone else to go and something happened to them because she didn't want to feel responsible for their death. As what happened to Lucerys
im frustrated by the lack of creativity in how these dragons are used. riders could drop flechettes, fire cross bows, bows use spears and halberds in dragon on dragon mele. they never use dragons to hunt or as beast of burden. a dragon like vagar could help you build giant stone structures. trying to kill a rider without killing the dragon could award you a dragon to your cause.
Good job on the review.I like that Alan and Coryles looked related as well,in that they didn't just get a random black dude the family casting in this show is believable since the actors have similar features. I like it when shows take the time to do that.
You are correct. Targaryens are NOT fire proof! Dany was an outlier, and actually in the books she's only fire proof in that one instance where she enters Drogo's funeral pyre and comes out with the dragons. The show did a disservice by allowing people to keep believing all Targaryens were fire proof. The way I saw this particular battle, Aegon was the only one that took a direct hit from fire. Rhaenys and Aemond were sort of "not in the direct path" of the flames, so you can stretch it and say the most heat they took was the equivalent of having a roaring furnace blasting directly at you but not close enough to burn you. Is it believable? Well, we're literally watching a dragon battle, so... :)
it's easily the most spectacular, and that dragon fight is mindblowingly detailed and worthy of whatever awards apply. personally I feel like the last viserys episode from season 1 is still the most emotionally affecting and remains my favorite but this one is an easy #2
The biggest dragon in the world 🌎 of game of thrones/the dance of the dragons 🐉 some how in rooks rest was able to just appear, what he sat on his dragon all night with no water no food, no one seen him, no one heard 359 trees get crushed, nothing! Just hey I’m sending ravens to Cole from the woods and I’m here magically! Don’t mind this plot, just think? We walked her with a black cloak on, so corny they did this with no mention on how, crap they could’ve spent 20 minutes showing how he was able to do this without the guards knowing‼️ And I’ll tell you why it’s a big DEAL! The blacks counsel member left to guard his house, so he was fully aware of his lands and had guards working over time, your telling with? With the castle on high high high high high alert 🚨 the biggest creature in thee entire world just got there without anyone noticing! 😅
@@Stark-Cinema it’s a joke! He sat there for 10 hours, the time line was established? So no substance? No nothing, No ravens, No trail of the dragon walking there? No sight of a Boeing 747 landing during a red high alert 🚨 timeframe! Remember ravens were sent, from Cole and Damon, I’m just flabbergasted!
@GoldenpaydirtReviews ravens take longer than 10 hours. He could've had a dang canteen of water strapped to him. Soldiers in real life have to go without comforts for long stretches of time too. Plus they were hiding so far away that several signals had to go off (arrows and several horns) so I doubt anybody heard her sneak in the woods to hide if she was so far away that it took several horns to reach them. Plus she's the same color as the dang forest. You must be really fun to watch fictional fantasy shows with.
@@yogadork_namaste I know it’s a joke I’m using silly points! Forget everything else written then, how does a Boeing 747 not been seen during a red threat level placed on rooks rest? That’s the joke here! I’m a fantasy junkie! Some plot points could’ve been made better, not a hop skip and a jump away from the enemies front door, especially one where one of the black council members just rushed back, had his banner men on thee highest level, so no one sees a jumbo jets land, 🤔 think? When that huge dragon flaps its wings….. everything blows everything shakes! I would’ve enjoyed them showing how they came and hid! It’s all good, my favorite book, my favorite show GOT….. DOTD👍👍👍
Alicent was presuming that maester would think that this moon tea is for antoher girl their king has r@ped. for those that have forgotten that he does that. which, many have forgotten about it and are thinking more about the son he lost, not the girls he used and humiliated. another nod at them was the girl that was showed as a victim, appeared last week in the brothel scene, she was a serving girl there.
Aegon would have been so much more wise to pay Aemon some sort of respect , even once . I think Aemon would have gladly served his brother if that were the case
It was like this last week... If you listen to me closely I talk about the pattern of them changing it every couple episodes and they did not change it this one.
Alicent is screwing cole and drinking moon tea. Same things she judged rhaenyra for and put on that green dress at the wedding. She must feel pretty hypocritical atm. Hopefully. Because she is a hypocrite. What was it rhaenyra said during the knife scene? You hide under a cloak of your own righteousness. Sorry for all the comments' i keep pausing the video and putting in my thoughts to help with engagement.
The way i see it, Sunfyre was downed already. Meleys and Rhaenys thought they had to take on and stop Vhaegar solo right then as redemption for not finishing the Greens during Episode 109 the green council...because no mother would unalive another mother right? heh
