I remember being at a really dark place in my life when this song came out. I wasn't part of the tik tok trend as I too am incredibly easily distracted. But honestly this song when it was on soundcloud, the only app that my parental block bricked phone had, made me smile. It was catchy and it had a message at the end I could really feel, although a lot different than Tom's perspective, the lyrics were really important to me. I had watched Tomska and DarkSquidge quite a lot over the years, so I knew what the bridge meant, and it always made me cry. I listened to the song so many times.

Honestly tom, thats why im scared to sleep at night. The constant thoughts of suicides, i dont want them but i dont see myself in a good way. My cope though is playing games like mc and letting myself make things that others can appreciate.

I remember when "It's muffin time" came out. The content just resonated with me since I knew what happened through the many years I've been following you and the others. I felt sad knowing that the end was close, but also glad you could get this message out for people to get : the exhaustion, the disconnect, things rapidly changing around you... But when the song went viral on TikTok etc, I felt disgusted. People were turning this song into a funny meme song and turning it into cringe compilations, completely stripping it out of the message that it carried. I was angry. But look at that, with all the memes sparking out of nowhere, the interest suddenly came back and allowed you to expand, create and do even more than a random dude telling people about the real meaning and message behind the song would ever do. I've been a fool all along, and I'm glad to have been one. The internet is a wonderful place, and I'm very glad you're still around.

My son had just turned 1 when the muffin song came out. I was hooked (been a fan for years) so I was listening to it in the kitchen while making dinner. Suddenly, my wife says, "Turn around!" and my son is dancing and laughing in the dining room. He's bobbing up and down and having the time of his life! One of his first words was 'Muffin' and even now he still loves it. Kinda feel like a bad dad occasionally... but he has no idea and it's so cute :P
