That silhouette looks great on you! Not a style I would ever wear but it was fun to see your make and great idea to use the linen in a jeans style. I prefer a 2 inch hem on linen when the style allows and it looks good in your video 🙂.

I have been very reluctant to try the barrel leg pants but these are really nice. Thanks for sharing the pattern with us. I do really love the linen look and may start with that. Your color-blocked looks are very on-trend and look great on you.

I agree. I wanted to wash and dry them now that they are made and see if they shrink up in the length any more. If they don't, I'll most likely go back and hem them just a touch shorter.

Whitney you look so cute I. Your outfit. Every time you wear that sweater, I think, I really need to get that pattern, so it is finally in my Ravelry cart. I wasn’t going to get the jeans pattern but I looked at the testers and there are some with my shape (pear) that look really good. Then I remembered years ago I had a pair in white that I had bought at Mervyn’s (are you too young to remember Mervyn’s. They were fabulous however I was so skinny in those days with a 21” waist and 40” hips huge difference. At this age I don’t even have a waist anymore. LOL. Thanks sweetie

I’m so ready to make the Belleville jeans. Planning on using a light/medium weight denim. What type of fabric pocket lining? Or what would be your recommendation to provide abs support? Thanks for your tips and motivational style.

My favorite for the pocket linings is anything lightweight that is also tightly woven. Cotton lawn is a great choice for pocket lining that will be lightweight enough to lay flat, but also strong enough to give the ab support!
